Okay so i just IO'd my Human Form WS and i must say i am REALLY pleased with the results of the sample build that i got from reading Alien's Guide(Which was A LOT of help). I am however not sure of an attack chain i can use yet. So far i've been hitting the mobs with GE, then eclipse, followed by mire, and then styg circle to regain any health/end lost in those last 3 moves. I do hit Stygian Circle consistently as it recharges in 7 seconds i believe and eclipse is well over perma by about 5-6 seconds i believe. The build is pretty solid, i just have to find an attack chain that i can use to maintain myself alive since the build is built for Recovery/Recharge. Again, any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks guys

Awesome, i am gonna be working towards getting my shade up to 50 before the 24th of this month so that i may join you guys if its possible. I'd really like to be in contact with you guys if possible, get some feedback in game to extend my knowledge. I feel like this is gonna be an AT i will have a lot of fun playing and exploring. I'm located on Freedom but for some reason im never able to find any WS's online other than Alien from time to time. I'll make sure to stay active in the Kheld forums in hopes of gaining some new friends
lol. I appreciate the help you all have given me so far, hope to learn some more stuff.

Okay so after spending all night reading both guides(Human & Tri-Form) I ended up liking the thought of a Tri-Form shade, i saw some pretty reasonable choices made for that type of build, but i REALLY liked the human form shade playstyle better. I have had my fair share of WS's in the past, i just never really bothered getting into them as much as i would have liked. I have played Tri-Form shades before so i kinda know what the powers are capable of doing and so on and so forth. So for that reason i chose to go with the Human Form on the main build, and then take advantage of the other 2 builds that the game lets you have to make it a Tri-Form build. This way i can see both aspects and actually get the feel of playing each one and then go from there with whichever one i like the most. Im really open-minded so im always willing to try new things if it would help me better understand this AT and the things its capable of doing. One last thing, where are most of the "big" shades located?(Please note these are only the ones i consider big based on their contributions to the Kheldian Forums and the knowledge they seem to have) Such as THB, AIB, Alien, and Dechs. I would really enjoy rolling a few games with you guys to see a bit better and understand a whole lot more. Preciate the help again guys, please forgive me during the time im adjusting lol

I appreciate the help. Trying to get in as much knowledge as i can hold about this AT, i know its a lot to take in and get used to

Is there any significant difference with how a WS is played, by this i mean like Human Form Only, Dual or Tri Form. I'd like to know because i really like Tri-Form Shades but i dont see myself wanting to go through the hassle of constantly changing forms back and forth, unless of course all that changing is worth something. Im not a regular Kheldian AT player so im pretty new to all of this. Just thought i'd give something new a try

Okay so i am not big on melee toons but i decided to roll one for once and i decided to go with the tanker, because i like the thought of grabbing the attention of mobs and just pulling them all on me. I chose SD/WM because it seemed rather interesting and it wasnt a build that many people on COH used so it would be cool to have one. I have no clue how to build a tank with these powers and i have read the guides to it, and have found a lot of resourceful information but i just generally suck on mids. I cant make a build to save my life, i could probably toy with one and stuff like that, but not start one from scratch. I wanna make this toon for PvE purposes, plain and simple: Beign the Alpha Tank. Any help is very appreciated

I have no clue how to build for a fire/kin because this is my first troller. Someone please help
I am looking to farm BM/Demon farms for purple drops, if anyone has a build that PWNS these farms, help me out. Price isnt ever an issue for me.
Thanks in advance -
Hmm seems like im gonna have to toy with it some then i suppose

Okay so i just recently started playing an SoA and chose to go Crab Spider. I currently am still in the process of getting him to lvl 50(lvl 41 at the moment) but i am starting to look for good builds to use once i reach lvl 50. So far i have tried hitting mids for several hours trying to get myself use to the powers and how to slot them and stuff and no luck, i have also tried searching the forums for builds i might like but that has not turned out anything good either, dont get me wrong there were some great builds, but just not what i was looking for.
I am looking for an entirely Ranged Damage build, where i can use all the AoE attacks that Crab Spiders have to offer, as well as the 2 Single Target attacks that they get at first. I want all my attacks to come straight from the pack, i dont want to have to bring out my rifle because that would involve redraw time which i do not want, i also dont want to have any melee attacks seeing as how that would also consist of redraw time(as i have already experienced it) so if anyone out there can help me with this please i would greatly appreciate it. I am also looking to use Mu Mastery as my Patron Pool for the 2 AoE attacks it offers, and if pets could be perma, awesomeness as well. Again, any help is greatly appreciated as i am not use to playing VEATS -
I did however toy with the build here and there moving stuff around. And was able to reach soft cap after slotting t3 agility and slotting a glad armor proc
-
Okay so just a few minutes ago i finished slotting all the enhancements into the build. And i LOVE IT. I dont think i've ever been more satisfied with a farming build up until this one. I think this toon will be one that i keep for a very long time. Very nice job on that build BA
-
So the build will reach softcap with veng on or off?
-
I've heard the same thing about damage output and recharge over defense, and im not saying the build was horrible, it was the very opposite, i liked it very much. But im the type to get carried away with killing and lose focus of my health, and then end up dying because i couldnt keep an eye on it. I havent been able to get the binds down so i can convert one insp to another so that kinda plays against me as well. But yea, BA your build was very helpful nonetheless
-
Okay so this is my newest lvl 50, and i want this to be another farming toon. This is my first ever electrical melee toon so i have no clue whatsoever how to slot him, which powers to pick and all that good stuff. So i was wondering if anyone out there could help me out with a build or something. Im looking to be able to run caves without having to stop and pop a luck every few minutes, if possible, to not even need vengeance as a way to boost my def, and only use it to slot the LoTG recharge enhancement. Please someone help me out.
-
The build did pretty well. The recovery and regen rate were pretty decent. But i chose not to use it anymore, because im a cave farmer and the build wouldnt hold up much on a cave. Im looking to not have to pop any sort of insp whatsoever when farming. Kinda gives me more stuff to worry about. But thanks BA for the build. Its actually pretty good when it comes to small sized ambush farms

I have been debating with myself over this topic for quite some time now. I'd like to know which type of build would end up being the most expensive. Please someone help me out with this.
