Its not hard to tell, its still very challenging for Veterans due to excessive AT & build compition and keeping up with FotM as well as easy to learn and expeirience as a NewB. the DR helps for ppl who DONT know how to slot and use crap like SO's and reg IO's w/e. Yall just need to Man-Up and adjust, its a video game YOUR SUPPOSED TO DIE....


    as for the new i19 fitness pool inherent.....its a feature that should have started standard that way.......fitness Always should have been an inherent its about TIME.....ofc it will make PvP more diff but ISN THAT WHAT WE WANT? DONT WE BEG FOR A CHALLENGE? PvP aint easy......its just easy to Gank!!!!!


    Also to touch down on ppl who use "Phase Shift" lmao u guys r NooBs NOBODY needs Phase.......again ITS A VIDEO GAME YOUR SUPPOSED TO DIE........besides all u really need is invis and some decent run speed if u dont has that then u should expect to die more than not, phase doesnt stop u from being killed.....its just a waste of power wich u coulda used for somthing that WOULD HELP u kill instead of being killed or needing to pop phase in the 1st place XD

    oh yea 1 nire thing before i go.......NOTHING IS O.P......NOTHING!!!!!!

    if we were all in PvP with 0 enhancments what AT would just be GOD?......NONE because with out enhancments yur toon aint squat......with that said.....different strokes for different folks, ppl build/slot differently SO some r BETTER than others i.e. i can hit u with "Brawl" for 500dmg but u can only hit me for 100dmg why? cuz i slot better XD nothing is OP so stop QQ'ing and maiking the devs tyena fix **** that aint broke YOUR BROKE or u cant MAN-UP and ADJUST

  4. The copy tool has been broken for over two months, effectively killing off the remnants of Test PvP. There's been no remotely recent evidence that the devs care to do anything about making changes, good or bad. (They can honestly say now there's not enough interest in PvP to spend time on it, even though they created that situation.) My only PvP atm comes from using free server transfers a couple of weeks ago to join a 3v3 league on Champion. Kickball is happening there on Wednesday nights.

    GG devs. We tried, but i13 wins.
  5. Yeah, the above is why I voted to limit stalkers. I hope that a couple of captains from the teams that voted to not limit will rethink this and call for another vote.
  6. I finally just called off practice until this gets fixed. Running the same line-ups over and over again was boring the hell out of everyone, not to mention that no one new can get on to add variety. It sucks that others have left or changed their mind about joining us because of this extended downtime.

    And I don't care about the jerks that get mad at us for complaining. I'm going to keep right on complaining because the copy tool being broken impacts my happy fun time. Personally, I don't feel the need to jump onto anyone else whenever they complain about something that's broken and negatively impacting their enjoyment, but that's just me.

  15. I'm not saying that happened, but I am saying that they haven't expressed any desire to understand exactly what draws and keeps a high-end, arena PvP'r. Sitting back and saying "Yeah, we get that you like fast-paced stuff" doesn't count.
  16. That's true, but my point was meant to be more about devs relating more to the mindset of the complainers that acted as if emp/blaster combos were downright unbeatable (which they weren't).

    The mez system has always been an issue. While I thought the i12 system could've used some tweaking, I definitely prefer it to the i13 system. Sure a team with good emps was hard to beat, but it could be done with the right combination of opposition and/or strategy. The bigger problem with zones in i12 was the lack of motivation to get those better teams and strategies together.

    Again, good emps presented a challenge to the opposition in i12 zones, but they weren't brokenly good. Certain people just refused to organize an effort to separate emps from their teammates. I heard "That's unfair! We can't kill your emp, and then your emp keeps you alive!" The devs apparently heard this too, and that's what they listened to when they came up with HD.

    That's the major, discouraing thing to me. Their solution with HD (and with i13 PvP as a whole) was to lower the bar instead of encouraging and rewarding improvement. It seems that in their eyes, PvP was/is a dead end street, only offering an occasional side attraction. They see no real potential with PvP, regarding any end-game type of content, which is the exact opposite view that I have of it. I see PvP as the only lasting challenge in the game, and I think it has loads of potential. But we're not devs, and the only way we'd see any real results would be if we had devs that were capable of seeing things the way we do. Unfortunately, these devs do not; they've never even remotely given the impression that they understand. Look at their quotes and actions.

    I see no reason for optimism. I'm making do with what we have left, but there aren't many people left with which to share the remaining fun.

    PvP Booster Pack

    Okay, while we're dreaming:

    Create PvP-Only Character Option:

    You may create a character that only has access to PvP zones, Pocket D, and Bases. Characters of this type start out at level 50, have all accolades, and have access to all enhancements, free of charge (since PvP characters have inf/prestige earning, email, and trading disabled). The character creation screen would resemble Mids, and PvP characters have unlimited respecs, which use the same Mids-type character creation interface. PvP characters cannot use zone entrances or use teleporters, so they must access zones by using a special power that summons a portal that lists all PvP zones, Pocket D, and their SG/VG base as the only destinations.

    When the code for this pack goes live, PvP and PvP zone-related badges are removed from the game forever.
  21. Until I see some evidence that the dev team has a desire to understand what draws players to PvP and keep them there, I see no reason to be optimistic. PvP vets are interested in PvP as a form of end-game content, but so far, I've yet to see a dev that sees the potential in that, which is a real shame. Pretending that i13 was a good idea and that any future changes should be made around that system is just further evidence that no beneficial changes are coming.

Then try to use the copy tool and copy any toon from any server, even Virtue or Freedom. Then go take a look at your character screen again. Give it some time. Check again. Give it some more time and check again. If you manage to successfully copy a toon, I'll post a video of myself doing naked cartwheels in my back yard.
