How wonderful!
What a great story also. I can relate in many ways with what you said Grae. It's awesome you found so many good friends! -

Wow... All that detailing is very impressive.
I have to say, though, that my favorite part of it so far is the hand. That just looks plain cool.

I agree totally! Very nice -
I just...I...uhhhh.well what I mean is...
Oh hell! Like you've never done that. -

Well thanks to everyone for all your advice.
I did in fact try out the battle kilt design myself when I first created this character, however the purse isn't actually gone. If you look it is just moved around to the side. In the end I stayed with the normal kilt, just to get a more regal feel.
It is just tough to create what I wanted with these parts. Like you said Kheprera, the pieces I need just aren't in the game at the moment.
My costumes do tend to evolve as I climb upwards in level so I am sure this one will change and hopefully improve as time goes on.
Thanks again for all your input folks. -
Yeah that damn purse. I couldn't agree more there, unfortunately there's really nothing I can do about it except ditch the kilt altogether. If I do that I might as well rebuild the whole costume as it's pretty much the focal point for the look.
I'll give it some more thought tonight but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I still really like it at the moment hehe. Your also correct about the purple. it most definately is not blue. That was the previous incarnation of this toon which I already abandoned. You laptop is rendering the color correctly.
Thanks for your comments though. -

The costume IS a bit low-impact compared to the bio, but nonetheless YAY for kiltage!
As the grandson of an amatuer Egyptologist I offer one chunk of advice: As a god of the dead Anubis was more a "Alright, welcome to Limbo... sign here, here, and here, we'll get your soul weighed, and get your afterlife set up for you" than a pseudo-Satanic dark god of EEEEEEEEEEEEVIIIIIIIIIILLLLL. That's actually the department of the god Set, who by the rise of Islam in Egypt had been retconned into the role. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Set_%28mythology%29

Hey great to know Marty! I'll change that right now. Thanks -
Hey thanks for all the great replies guys!
As for the costume,I am curious how everyone else feels. I am very happy with it myself. I really wanted to tie his look to the Egyptian theme yet go for something a bit different. Creating a mystical Egyptian statue was a bit tough though. I admit that I usually favor simplicity in design. It sometimes isn't really necesarry to add every option. However, maybe it's too simple?
Certainly the color scheme is a bit unusual but again, I really dig it. A living sculpture of sand that can rebuild itself after damage (regen). I initially did this in gold and turqouis to reflect the theme along with the Sinister pants and shin guards as they sort of represented scarabs but dropped that in favor of this, again just for simplicity.
What do the rest of ya think? If anyone would like to take a stab at recreating the design please do (I'm looking at you Crown) I'd love to see what you all might create.
Again thanks for all the great comments! -
Hello heroes!

Anyway, I just thought id ask since ive seen some nice avatars here.

Not sure what you are looking for exactly. I cropped your pic and resized it for ya but it's not animated or anything fun like that.
The Crown
On a different note that costume is SUPERB! Very nice use of color and your theme is really fun also. Great look. -
Ahh Graver strikes again!
Wonderful as always.
I am struck by the contrasting elements of your works my friend. Such dark subject matter married to pastels and light. These pieces ALWAYS bring to mind fairy tales to me. Very Brother's Grim, and very beautiful. Thanks for sharing. -
It's a crafted costume option?!?!
