  1. It's like Matrix meets Ground Hog Day and had a baby.
  2. I too thought Merle took the truck and loaded it with zombies. BUT that would mean there had to be a door on the fron tof the truck to seperate the passenger seats from the cargo area, which I don't remember seeing in the previous episode. That doesn't mean it wasn't there but I didn't see it.

I think that whole thing was to make us all believe Merle brought the zombies. Really the loud car probably attracted the geeks because it was stupid of them to drive it into camp. They should have ditched the loud car somewhere away from their camp and left it going. There was plenty of room for the driver in the back of the truck.

Also why did it seem like it took forever for the survivors to drive back to camp but they were able to run it in a short period of time? Super speedsters? LOL

All in all I still think this is a great show and can't wait for the next episode and will be super sad when the season ends.

    Cowboy vs Aliens

It's based off a graphic novel by the same name.

Also isn't Bond in limbo because of the studio that owns it being in bankruptcy limbo?

But you can say the same thing about almost any other functional area of this game:

Some people don't see the point of Markets when they never bother to craft anything.
Some people don't see the point of the PvP zones when they never PvP.
Some people couldn't care less about actively obtaining badges in this game.
    and so on...
Quite using LOGIC on the internets!

I totally just got an image of the old E.T. sprite with a cape...
  7. Yellow and Blue Lantern (unless they stay with the movie version then it'll be the Black and Yellow Lantern)
Or how about... Mutton Chops Lantern

    Cowboy vs Aliens

I have a feeling they are going to explain his wrist band as he was abducted and then escaped by stealing the bracelet. Otherwise if he was an alien I don't see him heading to a bar and sitting down for a drink. But then again that would be me trying to make fiction more reality and we know where that goes...

Both good points. I think Heroes had the luxury of being a modern twist on the super hero theme that wasn't Superman. Blade is still a vampire/vampire hunter movie at it's core and for the most part those are well received.

I like Luke Cage and would love for him to have a show or even the whole Heros for Hire thing. I just think it's going to be a tough sell to the Hollywood execs. But I think they could take it in a very cool direction with the right director and cast.

    Cowboy vs Aliens

I'm slightly disappointed they didn't show the Aliens portion of Cowboys & ALIENS!!! The story is a bit different from the book but I think it works. They had to speed it up a bit because I always felt it was a bit sluggish in the beginning.

I agree with this. I don't think Luke Cage, as cool as he can be, is a big enough draw for most of the TV viewers. But I would totally bring him and Danny in to hunt down the Hulk for an episode or two. Then they could read audience reaction and the possibilty for a spin off could form from there.
  13. Throw Wolverine from the Train

    Equilibrium 2: Claws

    Wolverine: Plot Holes

Wolverine 2: Special Effects? Who needs 'em Bub?
  14. The big two do this all the time. Here's some examples:
    Wolverine: X-23, Daken
Hulk: Grey Hulk, Smart Green Hulk, Red Hulk, Skaar-Son
Captain America: Hawkeye as Cap, Iron Man as Cap, U.S.Agent, etc
Green Lantern: How many do we have now? I can't name them all....
Superman: Super Boy, Super Girl, Steel, Power Girl etc
    Batman: Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl etc
    X-Men: X-Force, X-Factor, Generation X, 2099 etc
    ad naseum...

They bring in new, younger versions all the time. The problem? People don't like to change while we scream at the top of our lungs that we are tired of the same ol' same ol'. Humans cannot be satisfied as a whole. We are always wanting new and more while we also want to keep the old. How many threads do we read nerd raging that so and so actor will NOT fit the bill for "my" favorite character? Or OMG they change so and so's costume? How dare they, burn them at the stake! But then the same people will post another thread saying they are tired of seeing that character, or that character's costume looks like it came from 1920...

I'm as guilty as anyone but it's our nature. The companies then have to try and balance all of that and make the most profit possible. Because at the end of the day money is what motivates those companies. Yes the writers may have a personal vested interest in a particular character or story but at the end of the day it is still the bottom dollar that puts books/games/movies on the shelves. And I guarantee you that there are people who have bought those things knowing ahead of time that they didn't like the changes inside. But they still bought it.

So don't look for a disappearing Batman/Spider Man/Superman/Wolverine anytime soon. And if they do, then expect a reboot or a time warp to follow shortly. Heck I'm still expecting Jean Gray herself to walk into a panel of X-Men any second now. Why not? Uncle Ben has been brought back a couple times. Superman's entire planet was rebuilt at one point..

But I do love the old What-Ifs and Elseworlds and the more current Exiles(which was canceled?). This gave the writers and readers a chance to see our favorites in a different light. Maybe this is what we as paying customers should be asking for. I mean how many of you have made alt versions of your main toon here in COH? I know I have. I have three PowerStreams now, two Bully the Clowns and a couple others as well... It's what keeps it interesting, but I still like to play the originals from time to time.
  15. So we should expect to see Hulk in a similar fashion as Hellboy? Which would probably be okay. Or it could be as long as they target a little younger audience and not 30 something fanboys looking for their childhood!
  16. Well if this is you being "lazy and just wanting to finish" then sign me up for all of the full attention span stuff you have!

  20. Wolverine Fiction

"Reach in the bag and hand me my wallet, Bub."
    "Which one is your wallet?"
"The one that says Snikting Mother******."
  21. Well come ON!!! Who didn't see the redneck chopping his hand off? I mean they purposely put the camera right next the the tool box that was kicked over!

Yes he's an idiot for cutting his hand instead of the rusty bolt. Heck those clamps that hold the bolt to the angle iron are just pressure clamps and more than likely he could have kicked it off. But it wouldn't have made for "good" TV.

I like the show. Yes I'm biased because I've been on a zombie kick for a few years now, but I still think it's better than most shows out there. Other than Big Bang Theory I'd say this is my favorite show... right now. Even Chuck is starting to wear thin on me. So it's nice to have something just a little bit different!
