I had issues with "pigg crashes" on my GeForce 9600 GSO and the solution, like yours, was to downgrade the drivers. I also turned off FSAA and Ambient Occlusion and don't miss them, and it ups my FPS, under load, in theory.

How on earth did I get Kat Stone on both Freedom and Exalted for my Kat/Stone brute. No one took that?

I had already made up a huge list of random words to try to get a name from and then, when writing the heading for my list I put down "Names for Kat Stone" and then decided to see if it was taken.

Can't wait for Mids i21 to come out, as I'm thinking Kat Stone has little synergy, but it's cool to be sporting the stone armor with a katana.

I think the reason we see the Vanguard stuff in the paragon shop is that it's not unlocked on all our toons. Or, well, those who have been here since the beginning of February have it. If you're farming, your originality and personalization is your costume and name. Any variation from the most efficient is not as efficient.

The perfect farm builds have already been made. The only debate is which ATs are more fun.

Guys, quit freaking about MARTy. It's for cheaters. CEBR is a tactic. If they want to break CEBR, you just remove all AE content set to under level 5, for example.

If they wanted to make it so the Chinese gold farmers weren't able to PL someone 1->50 in four hours, they'd implement a hourly level cap.

Server is more active all the time than Champion is anytime.

That said...our server has some things you need to know. Atlas Park is a ghetto hellhole of morons and payfarmers. Get out ASAP.

CoH seems to have gone more to using channels rather than SGs for organizing events. Since the channels are global, no matter which toon you're on, which server you're on, if someone says they're getting something together on that channel, you'll hear them.

Invention Origin Enhancements...I cannot express how much this has changed the game. And last years addition of being able to mail yourself items has made it so you can have a toon totally dedicated as a marketer/personal shopper for your other toons. I have one who has a SG full of only Enh storage.

Other than that, get with the events that Luna, Meg, and E set up each week. Also Hyperstrike has a fire/rad controller [only] team that runs on Mondays...I'm not so sure the plant team or dual pistols still run.

There is always something to do on Freedom. Though I suspect once we go free to play that having the word Freedom in the new title will get even more riff-raff and miscreants polluting our server. Though many will not find their way out of Atlas park due to being caught up in the activity there.

I was going through alts and when I got my BS/SR out and looked at her potential...the massive overkill in melee defense with Parry and the armor powers...I'm not sure the set makes much sense for my playstyle.

Why take BS if I'm not going to use Parry? Why take SR if I'm going to have Parry [or DA for that matter?]

[On my kat/wp I set her up usually to be one tap into the 40s, though now she's one tap capped and sloow.]

I'm sure there is a guide on frankenslotting around. And if you don't have Mids make sure to download that, it's got a pretty hokey learning curve, but once you get it, it's THE tool.

Why frankenslot?
1. Lots of sets have crap bonuses, like Ruin for example, and their stuff is dirt cheap. Cheaper than generic IOs.
2. This is key, remember this. You can get the same numbers as slotting two level 50 generic IOs, say Acc and Dam, by slotting two Acc/Dam IOs from level 28! True, true. So stay away from the common IO stuff.
3. You can still pick up nearly all regen and recovery bonuses with just two IOs from that set.
4. Some sets are pretty nice though, I like Multi-Strikes in damage auras and they're cheap and have some OK bonuses.

I will be purposefully not playing new content as the chaos factor is really epically high in the first few days. Did anyone play a BAF on the first day(s)? Holy crap, half of us didn't even know how to talk in the league channel.

But, yeah, once you guys figure it all out, let me know.

I know I've made the harsh run from Atlas to the Icon in SC at low level to change something and then gotten stuck at the hospital with no way to escape. It's actually easier to run through PI to get to FBZ to get a raptor pack than get through SC to change costume.

That said, RWZ is there, but new players don't know. And there'll be an Icon in Atlas...but...I'm on Freedom server. Those of us who play the game know to get out of our ghetto named Atlas and never come back.

But, I have no strong feelings one way or another. Regardless of level, I tend to train and change costumes in Pocket-D.

What I'm worried about with CoH:Freedom is that the new name will make even more people who know nothing head to our server. But, hey, maybe they won't be able to find their way out of Atlas.

I'll alt on this. My showing up depends on whether I can get the new DVD Hanna from the brick-and-mortar rental place. The wife's changed her working schedule so we can actually spend time together at night now.
