I suggest forming a team to that effect!

    Oh wait...

    nvm. -.-
  3. Name: Knuckle Sammich.
    Game: PAIN.

    Questions?
  4. Why is there a section of Crey's Folly called Carnival Town that is entirely populated by Freakshow instead of Carnies?

Y'know, just saying... the name's kinda deceptive.

How about deleted some of these olds threads, or letting them die out?

    How about not starting fights?

How about not posting pointless stuff just to PL your post counts?

And how about not ganging up on people?

Anyone with me? It's time for a change.

  8. Happy trails, Fleameister.

Hopefully we'll get to see more of you in the future, but for the time being, you must do what you feel is best, of course.

    Take care and be well.

  12. Dear Devs,

Decisions like those to change the Rikti mobs that were being mercilessly farmed for disproportionately large amounts of Experience Points (when compared to the risk involved in attacking them) are entirely logical. After all, if we were all able to reach lvl 50 in an afternoon, the fun and challenge would go out the window and there would be no more game. Since the game is your livelihood as well, from a business standpoint, I understand completely.

Decisions that hinder creativity, such as those that for some unknown reason removed two Unique mission maps from the availability lists (namely the Crey Cloning Lab and the Burning Forest), do little more than hamstring legitimate players who are merely trying to tell a story in a strikingly unexpected or dramatic setting. There was no warning of the removal of these maps with today's patch, nor is there any news stating why they were removed or if they will be returned. In the meantime, the two arcs that I managed to publish which hinge on the availability of those mission maps have become corrupted and unplayable. Those who do not understand why I cannot simply change maps and republish my arcs obviously have not played my arcs and, I fear, never will since they will never again be suitable to play without those key settings.

Thanks for throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

    Respectfully disgruntled,
    Plas

Arc Name: Rumble with Beef Cake
    Arc ID: 1070
Why you think it deserves to be played/discussed: Well this guy is like Green Dwarf in that you will probally get a message from him saying something along the lines of "Hi, I played your arc. I gave you X-Stars, play mine at #1070."
Well the story of his is pretty straightforward, it is one mission where ...well, you brawl with Beef Cake.
This was the one thing that I really liked about the mission. Since it wasn't story driven it was nice that he provided a chart that showed what would spawn on his map depending on what mission setting I was at.
Aside from that it was a pretty straightforward brawl that [n]thankfully[/n] lacked any ambushes as his health went down.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Say, I haven't been back to his Rumble since I tried it once and was summarily pasted. Did he ever get around to fixing the entire mission map filled to the brim with people who buff him, or is it better now?

Cuz, you know, it kinda wasn't fair.
  14. Arc Name: A Clone in the Dark
    Arc ID: 91714
    Morality: Hero
    Creator: @Plasma Warrior
Difficulty Level: Well, I soloed it easily enough, but I'd love to see it run with a team.
And if I can solo it on my blaster, it can't be all that difficult, either. Then again, I knew what to expect - and there was that one time I was taken by surprise by one of my spawns and was summarily dispatched, so... um... medium?
Arc Description: The plot: Crey scientists have clandestinely obtained DNA from Plasma Warrior, a fire/fire blaster, and have begun creating clones of him in a bid to undermine the hero's credibility and generally run amok in Paragon City. Crey's genetic manipulations, however, have caused abberations in the powers of the clones. Nonetheless, they all must be stopped without fail.
Arc Length: I'd have to guess it falls under "Long" - between 30 and 60 mins to complete. 4 medium-sized mission maps, one escort, 2 defeat alls (EB/AV at the end of mish 4).
Why you think it deserves to be played/discussed: Because I was overtired yesterday when I was messing around with my arc and, in a misguided attempt to edit it, accidentally unpublished it instead. -.-

Play it again... for the first time. Or something like that.
  15. I don't know if I can more adequately state my deep regret at the news of your leaving for greener pastures, except to say that it was a great pleasure getting to know you. In fact, teaming with you while bowling at HeroCon will remain one of my fondest memories for years to come.

Your rich sense of humor and incomparable grace under pressure will undoubtedly serve you well and allow you to persevere in the marketplace beyond Paragon Studios. But despite your obvious aptitudes, I still wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors.

    All the best,
    Plas
  16. The arc I've published already has clones of my main, oddly enough, so I see no need to upload my character for others to use/abuse. If you can't play arc 13396 and get your fill of beating the snot out of me, there's nothing stopping you from making a Plasma clone of your own with whatever outfit you like and killing him repeatedly.
  17. I'ma rebel, so I'm going to transplant my post from Tal's thread to this one. Besides, I like her format better.

Why you think it deserves to be played/discussed: This is an opportunity to fight the many iterations of Plasma characters that I've created over the years, not to mention an opportunity to fight alongside my main character (who, oddly enough, is one of the lesser-known alts I have) and help him take down some fairly unique enemy types. Please bear in mind that this was a moderately half-baked idea when I thought of making it originally, in light of the fact that my original plan for an MA arc fell through completely. Also, I have a humorous arc idea in the works at present, so I'll be sure to post that in this thread when it's ready to go.

  19. But Talia said that hers is the official one.

    Now I'm all confused.
  20. Makes me glad I have a self-sufficient one-man SG. This rank crap has been a non-issue for me and will continue to be.
  21. That gives me a great idea!

For those too lazy to go to the bathroom, simply package up your waste products and mail them to the sewage treatment plant! COD, of course.
  22. You've played your first character to level 50.
You've successfully unlocked the Epic Archetype on a given side.
Presumably, in order to get to that point, you've done enough content in the game to have earned the trust of every single contact you've helped, so why not give this as an account-wide power? For lack of a better name, let's call it Implicit Trust.

The way it works is simple:
When introduced to a new contact, you speak with said contact, run the first mission they give you and you INSTANTLY get the ability to call them. No more mucking about running all over hell's half-acre, from missions to contacts to new missions and back again, until 3/4ers of their @#$%^& arc is complete before they trust you with their cellphone numbers! Everyone, from level one contacts in Atlas Park all the way up to contacts in the Shadow Shard, they all inherently trust you with their contact information after running their first mission.

I'm frankly kinda surprised this wasn't given as a vet reward already. Woulda beat the crap out of Greek Letters as chest emblems.

    Whaddya think?

Either way, I stand by my initial reaction - EXERCISE WILL KILL YOU!
