  1. The gunman stepped out from the shadows, confident to have finally met Infinitron. A sharp noise like a miniature aeroplane zips past in a blur and halts beside the gunman. Both nodded at the other, still with their faces masked with a veil. The speedster held out a hand to Infinitron. "It would be an honour to work alongside you Infinitron. We share your perspective on criminal execution and will gladly offer our services. However, for security purposes, we would like to keep our identities secret, even from you, sir."
  2. The way I've done it in the past is quite simply a large radio broadcast calling for heroes to push back a sudden invasion of Rogue Isles villains (usually the Gang), approaching Bloody Bay first, Sirens Call second, Warburg third and lastly, a desperate time-warped attempt at Recluse's Victory. Doing it this way, everyone gets to participate on some level, and if the villains win most or all of the fights (like they did last time), peace is eventually restored by other public servants and or military forces, ie Longbow. Non roleplayers tend to join in but their out of character and sometimes nonsensical chatter can be ignored by segregating the broadcast chat channel to an isolated tab and keeping in character conversations to local or team channels. 3. Thanks to all who came again tonight, I hope everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll edit footage tomorrow.
  4. Codename follows to train of people walking to the helipad.
  5. Monday 12th - Evening

A known murderer and high ranking member of the Warriors made a daring trip into Eastgate. Seems he was working with the Outcast mutants, planning a raid on the Trolls. Their meeting was in the open plains, a lone warrior heavy in conversation with a gang of ice-skinned youths. Something goes wrong and a fight breaks out, the warrior is hit square in the jaw, but he firms the impact and produces a long sword. With lightening speed, he impales one of the Outcast gangs, bright red blood oozed from the young man's heart as he keeled over in agony. Suddenly, a sharp noise like a miniature aeroplane zips past in a blur. All six gang members, warrior and outcasts alike, fell to their deaths, a bullet hole gaping from their foreheads.

    Tuesday 13th - Midnight

A group of young Hellions have been guarding a dark alleyway for the past two hours, each taking turns to disappear into the shadows before re-emerging minutes later with their pants unzipped. The last three youths were now growing impatient and decided to disappear together. Minutes later, a young girl's prolonged screams are heard coming from deep inside the alley, followed by the thuds of fists pounding on flesh and the unmistakable sounds of broken ribs. Suddenly, a slender bullet zoomed through the air and disappeared into the darkness, quickly followed by seven other flying rounds ushering in the disconcerting, crunching sound of human skulls imploding. Seconds later, a blood-drenched teenage girl staggered out of the alleyway, her clothes shredded into rags, her mascara highlighting the river of tears eroding at her cheeks. Sobbing miserably, she gingerly makes her escape into the night.

    Wednesday 14th - Morning

A known psychopath arrested for the murder of his infant child and the violent assault of his wife was sentenced to just twelve months in a hospital, on a successful insanity plea. Outside the court room, surrounded by photographers and news cameras, the infant-killer descended the grande stairway with a maniacal grin etched on his face. A flurry of camera flashes and the man had taken a bullet to the head. His lifeless body slumped unpleasantly on the cold courthouse marble.

    Thursday 15th - Evening

The sudden rise in gun-related vigilantism resulting in the deaths of various criminals had begun to make the city citizens uneasy. The authorities grew increasingly desperate to find the rogue hero Infinitron and put a stop to this madness. Yet despite their efforts and the investigative work of licensed heroes around the city, the killings continued. A prison transport bus containing two dozen convicts was recently hijacked by the prisoners, they managed to escape with the bus as far as Independence Port before the vehicle was blown sky-high into the flames of hell by a swarm of grenades.

    Friday 16th - Dawn

Daybreak and already the Founders Falls National Bank was being robbed, again. As the alarms blared through the morning air, the serenity of sunrise was cast asunder. Five masked thieves rushed out from the swiveling doors and looked dazed at their aflamed get-away vehicle. Simultaneously, the Steel Canyon Bank was hit by four thieves, identically dressed to the Founders Falls robbers. One after the other, the nine thieves took a bullet to the head. (344)
  6. "How very kind of you Mr. Breaker, but you must appreciate my little predicament" Pistol mocked, her tone of voice heavily sarcastic and condescending. "That little predicament being Sharkshead Isle and your little rag tag crusade of thieves and robots, fuc**ing murdering my brothers, you half-cocked cun*. The day the Corporation surrenders this endlessly bloody turf war to the Marcone Family, is the day I'll stop contemplating your deaths and maybe, just maybe, I'll allow myself to forget you exist. Deal, or no deal?"
  7. "Wait" said Pistol. "Mr. Breaker, if the Corporation plans to support Mechano's raid on Paragon City, it'd provide me with an opportunity to return a certain favour to the Militia. I hate you all and nothing will change that, but consider me in on this project anyway. I doubt the countess would pass up the chance also." With that said, Pistol prepared to leave. "Let it be know however, that Paragon City belongs to no-one but it's citizens, there is no point in fooling ourselves that we can somehow forcibly win over control. Owning a city is as simple as becoming a part of it, go live there. Attacking the city with its heroes as our targets is better justified, I think."
  8. Pistol looked bored, absent-mindedly helping herself to a bottle of water.
  9. "Edward, I see that you mean well but these tools behind me are purchasable mercenaries. If I needed them to work for me, I'll just throw money at them. Besides, we have a long history of rivalry, an alliance is out of the question. But if you, Doctor, want to work for Liz and I, that's a different matter, your first job involves a bucket, dustpan, a brush and the Castle halls.
  10. Pistol looked to Elizabeth and cringed with laughter clearly aimed to belittle Mechano. "I've been working with the Countess for over three years and we're just good, but an alliance with you Edward?" she laughed, "no thank you old man, how about you let us take care of business and you just worry about your arthritis."
  11. Pistol sighs impatiently and rolls her dark brown eyes. "Mechano, Mechano, Mechano. If you aren't the most schizophrenic, science-mad, chaos-bent, megalomaniac dic*face I've ever known" she retaliated, her stabbing voice as cold as a knife. Her face wore a look of pure frustration and flames of anger threatened to explode from her eyes. "Honestly, what is your frigging problem? You ruin my home, ask me to come all the way to this dimension, just to tell me I've become a lazy villain? What gives you the right? I mean you really must be crazy to be able to pull all this off. The level of audacity you've displayed this week is so shockingly brilliant, I suppose it's the only thing entertaining all of us in this room, and the reason you're still being allowed to stand there alive, drinking coffee. Because actually, in the grand scheme of things, you and your green trolls are about as insignificant a threat to Paragon's heroes as the common cold. If you get off your high podium for just one minute and see beyond those pompous lab coats, you'll realize that most, if not everyone in this meeting has a bigger purpose in life than amounting fear. I am a very busy woman Edward so unless there is an actual plan to benefit my cause, behind your bipolar-induced temper tantrums, I'd advice you to keep your outrageously ignorant and insulting opinions of me and my business to yourself. Is that understood?"
  12. Acknowledging defeat, Alicia cleverly chose to avert the topic. "Mechano probably wants to start by apologizing for destroying the secrecy of my home, don't you Doctor?" she pressed, fixing him with a dangerously condescending look. "However humorous the pranks were, you will be held accountable for damages and inconveniences, by any means deemed necessary. And I mean, any! You should have targeted Paragon alone."
  13. "I've seen how you fight here in Zero's world Mr. Breaker" said Pistol, not impressed with being threatened. "If the Gladiators show is anything to go by, you couldn't break open a bottle of champagne" she laughed a little at her joke, looking to Elizabeth.
  14. "Last rumour that I heard said that Sebastian has been extremely ill since mid last year before disappearing. I wish I had something to do with it" said Pistol, floating into the room, dressed almost identical to the Countess. "I do hate that Corporation, the amount of clients they stole from me in 2007 alone." She reached the table and took her seat, greeting the Countess and making a point of ignoring the Doctor.
  15. "Elizabeth darling, the Crimson Cove is too dangerous for me at this point in time, mind if I spend the next few nights with you, and then maybe we can attend the seminar together? I think I have a cunning plan, something special for the Doctor" she proposed, a cunning sparkle in her dark brown eyes.
  16. Pistol rolled her eyes and lowered her weapons. "You didn't actually take me seriously did you Liz?" she joked. "Speaking of which, I've always wondered if silver was a weakness actually" she quizzed, smiling cockily before casually sizing up the sneaky werewolf behind her. "As for Mechano, has he invited you to Thursday's seminar?"
  17. Tuesday Evening - Castle Báthory, Cap Au Diable

A black limousine slowly pulled up outside an old gothic building. The chauffeur exited and walked around to open the back door, revealing a young Italian woman cloaked in a black leather trenchcoat. She stepped out and made a bee-line through the castle's damaged doors and up through the hidden stairway. As she emerged onto the crypt, she found the Countess stood, waiting expectantly. "Bathory" she hissed, pulling out two handguns and leveling them to the vampire's face. "On account of our episodes with Romanov's league of destroyers, a certain demon is just itching to puncture your ugly cold heart full of silver right about now, you treacherous, betraying old hag. Give me one reason why I shouldn't let it?"
  18. A blood red tomato just about missed Alicia's forehead. "Murderer!" screamed the thrower, hidden among the crowds of on-lookers. "Yeah, she killed the Priest!" came another voice.

Suddenly, Alicia produced two impervium steel handguns and pressed her face onto a nearby news camera. "My name is Alicia Barzini-Marcone and I've just been punk'd" she said, smiling into the lens, "that's right Edward, you got me - you got me real good." As quickly as it had come, the smile was gone, replaced with a face scarred with anger. Alicia raises her handguns and swivels on her upper body, bringing her arms around and aiming towards the neon sign. Ear splitting gunshots resounded through the grounds of the mansion as the Lady Pistol unloaded a swarm of specially designed silver bullets along a perfect arc, swerving around trees and benches, traveling along the ocean and coming to a destructive destination on the bright neon sign. The explosion was all the distraction Pistol needed to escape into her parked limo.

"Boss, I just got off the phone with your husband" reported the driver, as he pulled away into the main road, paparazzi running along behind. "He wants Project Holy Man moved to a new location and for you to come stay in his Marconeville Mansion until further notice."

"Yeah whatever Terrance" Alicia dismissed, distracted by the news coverage of the afternoon's multiple attacks on both hero organisations and criminal residencies. "You know what" said Pistol "take me to Castle Bathory"
  19. Tuesday Afternoon - Sisarose Mansion, Nerva Archipelago

Alicia Barzini was busy in her large Victorian kitchen when a tomato splashed against her widest window, followed by a volley of eggs. "Boss, we have a small problem" said a tall dark-skinned man in a dark suit. "So I see" Alicia joked, "Either Longbow have developed a twisted sense of humour, or they're genuinely offering me free groceries."

The suited bodyguard cleared his throat. "If you'd like to follow me to the East Wing Mrs Marcone, there appears to be a giant neon sign floating in the ocean, it reads, and I quote, 'Pistol lives here, dot, dot, dot, take pictures' - it seems to be attracting a lot of local and media attention. Some of your neighbors have begun attacking the building with fruit and vegetables."

Alicia sighed impatiently. "Great, just great. You know, people don't like me around here, Alex. That's why I pay you people to keep my residency a secret!" Alicia screamed, before storming off through the mansion and out the front exit.

Sure enough, a giant neon arrow exposed her to the world. The local newspaper photographers rushed to her side and did exactly what the sign instructed. Alicia's mind was racing through a very long list of enemies, finally arriving at the one person capable of such a prank, "Mechano" she spat.

  22. Erm, @Crimson Archer or @Dante is probably good for contacting the Militia. @Hana Li or @Fire Singer for NHU.
  23. Sounds good Mech. AFAIK, the Militia are very major, New Heroes Union also, and the Gang is pretty infamous.
