Na I would hope my team would have 2v2'd if not I would have rather them play the stalkers over forefit then again as exit said I just play for fun.

The team that had only 2 players and wanted us to drop to 2 players as well. Why? our players came to play and drop any other plan they had to have a match. So, No where not going to drop down to 2 players cause your team can't show up. Rules should been inplace for those who brough less players other play handicapp
like 1 stalkers for a team 2, 0 stalkers for a team of 1, 2 stalkers for 3+ plus team.
HONESTLY EASY KILLS WAS A JOKE!!! NEVER WANT TO FACE LITTLE ****** like that again.
Common sense would dictate that playing 3v2 is playing handicap. You seem to have lost any common sense since you seem to think you should auto win since it was 3v2. Playing at a 3v2 handicap bringing the double stalkers and hoping for a double as kill seems to be the best tactic to win in that situation *shrug* then again your the team that brings double therms to each match and people say that is lame.

Wonder if you would be raging if you had won all three. My guess is no. Your team should try to relax and have fun instead of raging all the time it's really unhealthy to always be so mad.
  3. Sunday is actually much better for me.

The other steel-toed pair is used for work and are charred, scraped, scuffed and tinted about six different colors, so not as good for a night out.

To be honest i usually just wear what i feel like wearing to events as long as it suits the mood of the event even if it's not traditional formal wear. i do have some tuxedo jackets with tails, although the best fitting one has punk, psychobilly and grindcore patches sewn onto it and a bunch of buttons and ephemera on the lapels. Then again the most formal events i usually attend are gallery openings, concerts and plays, which presumably have more relaxed standards than hotel clubs.
Oh the steel toe sketchers sneakers i got from work feel so heavy and uncomfortable to me... then again i am not used to wearing steel toed shoes so that may be why.

On this side note, ya phillygirl! I bringing out own skirt or maybe top combo. I may going to New York to buying a new dress, and heels for the night! We should have a pre-meet shop spree! And maybe we can dragging along some of the guys and dressing them up for them if they have style malfunction.
I wish i had the time and money for a NY shopping spree :/ And i am probably wearing all black so you will hate me but I like it and it is classic I am not the most fashionable girl lol way to much of a geek I could use a mishi makeover too i guess

As for the fancy later event... i don't own dress shoes or even regular sneakers. Although i do have many pairs of boots with varying amounts of eyelets, zippers, steel toes and straps. And a pair of sandals. Barring steel toes my pants situation is similar. Along with multiple pairs of jeans and no slacks that aren't slightly charred or paint-stained. Outside of Henley/t-shirts i do have some clergy shirts and a few button down shirts in addition to the scaled and shiny shirts. My jackets tend to have patches, plates, bolts, assorted other hardware and painting on them.
    Eh, i'll think of something.
Jeans (your nicest pair) and a button down or henley with your boots should be ok. Though for your own comfort i would not wear the steel toed boots.

I told 'em to wear stickers that say "Friends of Turgenev, don't hurt". If you see 'em, don't hurt 'em.

Well all but this thread is gone
    http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showt...=mime+invasion

But Protector invaded us with a bunch of mime toons and we brought them some Kronos and babages to play with. Afterward we decided to do a counter invasion as Hami toons they brought many babages and Kronos titans much fun was had by all. We where the only server to ever conduct a counter invasion.

So now all has been quiet and i thought it would be fun to be on the offensive this time.
  8. Well i forgot the UI but i spent more time labeling than enri did :P

I know you said in game stuff doesn't matter but this was also announced on the forums.
  9. I think its time for us to be offensive and invade our sister server, Protector.

    Date: Thurs Oct 14th

    Time: 8pmEST

Location: Talos on the Protector server

Theme: Praetorian (resistance, loyalists, clockwork, praetor protectorites)
  10. Yes to imply they are related would make their bromance incestuous...that would just be wrong.

C'mon Flea, you have a decent idea here. Even some good reasons for it. No need to promise it will cure cancer when anyone who thinks about it will realize there are enough other reasons these things happen, that 1 new zone won't make a whit of difference to a game wide phenomenon, especially since it's a PvP zone and PvP is not a driving force in this game.

Like I said it's not a bad idea. I say though they could give everyone who goes an alt spec that only works in that zone.

Personally I'd rather see work done on the baseline flaws of PvP, and the specific flaws in the existing zone games first, but the premise for YAPVPZ is, in this case, not bad.

lol Flea is most likely right. Most of the people using some of the most recent not widely known to the public AE exploits where the PvP'rs so that they could have new toons to PvP with or try in zones. If they can go to a zone where they can have a toon at lvl 50 you would probably see less of that. When the easy 50's goes away the PL'ing reduces.

    A dev in pvp!!!!

    Aww be nice trey.

Mod 08 aka the ocho does like PvP he is frequently on freedom talking in ac. He may be the only advocate for PvP atm at NC NC but I'm not sure.
  13. The only thing I would add flea is con'ing do you want it to be faction oriented like loyalist vs resistance or hero vs villian etc or free for all (I prefer this).

Otherwise I like the idea of a "try it out PvP zone" and I do think it would be more friendly for beginers.
  14. You can just buy a vent server then you just dl the client but for just 3 people use skype, or find someone who will let you leech on their vent.
  15. If your allowing non liberty regulars I have a kin corruptor I can take hero side to do this. I have yet to do a CoP run
  16. Plus they are giving out a costume code

    And darn you Turg

  18. Definition of Upscale Casual
    By Peggy Epstein, eHow Contributor
I want to do this! What's This?
The term "upscale casual" is usually applied to the type of clothing appropriate for a particular occasion or a type of restaurant, referring both to the restaurant itself and the expected dress for that type of restaurant. Both references may vary somewhat according to area, but there are some generally applicable guidelines.
    Dress for Women
Women should keep in mind that while dressy jeans or pants with a good-looking top will be appropriate, skirts and dresses are often worn at upscale casual events and restaurants.
    Dress for Men
Dark, pressed jeans are sometimes considered appropriate when worn with a collared shirt; slacks are always an acceptable choice. Jackets are usually optional; ties are not necessary.
    Footwear
Generally speaking, street shoes are considered appropriate for upscale casual, but not tennis shoes, flip-flops or other beach-type footwear.
    Unacceptable Items

That might just be for the after hours party, but I'd hate to show up and not be allowed into the M&G based on what I was wearing.

I think a safe bet for guys would be khakis, and a polo or oxford shirt. Again, not sure whether althletic shoes are acceptable.

I have no idea what would be considered "upscale casual" for women.

Nice slax and shirt or skirt and blouse/shirt basicly office attire. She did specificly say that was for the after hours party so i would assume the meet and greet earlier would be less stringent but it is manhatten on a Friday night that alone has me dressing in a skirt (which is rare for me).

Especially with the market merge and rogue I have a massive amount of extra stuff from red side I can hand out.

'Mouse has access to most of my prizes, but I think I will bring 'Moose (Ice/Mace) for the TF'ing. Because I can.

I will go over this before teams are formed, but if we can all start about the same time, some of the prize catagories will be
First Death (not a suicide run, a real combat fatality)
Fewest Deaths (team, will have to turn on one of the death challenges for this to track)
Last Blood (who gets the AV kill and/or the last kill before the TF completes)
    Sycophant (Only Ice/Macers need apply)

You can only win one individual prize and one team prize. So one team will not get all the loot (IO's). And there is always raw cash when the IOs run dry.

I think I will have enough merits to get 3-4 L20 Miracles and 3-4 L25 LotGs to suppliment the URs and other sets.

    net
I am almost guarenteed to get that first death prize!
  21. I think I have a tank on Champion it's eiher lowbie or mid lvl I'll try to be there. Though i am a terrible team leader I certainly can and would lead a tf team if needed.

While I've always been in favor of a better system to keep raiders in raids (hopefully it will be coming now that we know more big events are on the way), simply upping the cap on a zone isn't practical.

I remember sitting in the Hive listening to long open discussions with Castle and/or BaB about why the cap got lowered, and why it can't be higher (during closed beta for the current Hami Raid) I've also had talks with BaB via PM about why they didn't then and haven't yet come up with a better solution for Raid Controls.

Is it a bummer to miss a raid? Yeah. It's more of a bummer when the entire zone crashes mid raid and EVERYONE loses out though. That's the kind of thing that is more likely to happen with more people. It's not worth setting things up for failure and really unpleasant raiding experiences by a "simple" fix of raising the zone cap.

Hive zone cap is 50 get a few leechers and a few dual boxers in there and it can be annoying. I've seen it suggested that raids become Instances so that if you DC you just zone back into the instance if your on a team, don't know if that is doable though.

I don't buy it. I remember the badge/title rush in Atlas during the anniversary, when there were literally thousands of people in the zone. It lagged to oblivion, but it was stable.
Couldn't have been thousands unless they removed the zone cap i think those zones cap out at 150-200 i forget the actual number but it's in the low hundreds. The rednames can manually pull people into a full zone but somehow i don't see them doing that for hundreds of people.
