Try this: delete the rooms and items in your base and try again. Start out with an Oversight Center. Then you can place a power/control combo unit in it, along with 1 workshop and 1 storage item. Then, you can add the infirmary room and put in a rez ring. I think that should solve your dilemma.

Also, if you'd like to keep rent to a minimum, remember that rent is now based on storage items in your base. 100 prestige each. (IIRC)

@Flaming Current, Virtue server. I inherited 2 SG's and remodeled 1 of the bases. It's still a WIP, but I like it. Look me up for a tour. -
No need to do the "magic desk" trick anymore. You can stack desks without it. Also, you can stack floor safes. You can stack pretty much anything you like by using floor tiles and accent lamps, then just remove the floor tile and accent lamps when you're finished.
