GB's ties to a "celestial" background/origin will be a stretch, as in only his costume is of a higher power. His backstory is kinda a cross between The Greatest American Hero and Green Lantern. As in he got lucky to have the suit (GAH) which grants him all these cool powers, but also those who bestowed the suit upon him chosehim for a reason. (GL)

Interesting names and concepts

Nova, Tram and I have been sending names back and forth in PM's here. We'll bring them all up at Wed's meeting and we can all vote on them. Sound good to everyone?

GB is still new to this whole thing. He's a regular guy, and being a leader in his everyday job in no way qualifies him to lead this group. He has taken up the leadership role reluctantly. I say reluctantly only because he doesn't want to cause harm to his teammates. Having never dealt with aliens before in his life (even in Paragon City, he's never seen a Rikti ever), he is a bit ... um, nervous and cautious in his treatment of these teammates. He has great respect for the whole team and it shows in his actions, I hope. And his confidence in them will grow quickly, especially if last night's run is any indication of how well they can be together.

Well, with the aliens on the team, we could probably easily link everyone's past to the Rikti somehow. As for GB's origin, his suit is what gives him his powers, and it was sent to him from an alien life form. Maybe it can be from someone who is also at war with the Rikti? idk ... We'll see how everyone else feels about the Rikti backstory linking us all together.

We can start up an SG as soon as we come up with a name we can all agree on. Let's send some names to each other through PM's here (to avoid anyone not in the group stealing the name we want)

I had a MM named Baron Breakfast and his minions were all named after breakfast foods. (Bacon Girl, Omelette, Over Easy Kid, Powedered Toast Man)
I also had a breakfast food themed duo on hero side for a while: Bagel Boy and his SK The Cream Cheese Kid.
Another MM I had was named Vinnie Bag O' Donuts and his minions Boston Creme, Glazed, Jelly, Powedered and Cinnamon.
