    Dear Devs,

    There is a large difference between PvP and PvE but there is also a difference between solo/small team PvE and large team PvE - in terms of damage dealers. There isnt a lot of difference between solo and small team PvE builds and PvP builds and its only natural some sets suit one and not the other. For example is it an issue Martial Arts, Broadsword performs better in smaller teams? Why should PvP viability be different?

    The way I see it is that most people have a mixture of toons for different situations and if people want to PvP you could easily make one thats more suited to smaller teams/pvp as opposed to trying to make a larger teams/pvp hybrid.

    This is all from a damage dealing point of view, as far as buffers go they perferm well in all PvE and without comprimising much PvE performance can be very good in PvP.

    One of the most enjoyable things I find in CoX is PvP emping. Its so much more fun and exciting than PvE emping, if you dont like the way the PvP game works from a damage dealing point of view buffers might be a better bet - like hard PvE but with you running like a madman.

    I do think its ashame that not many people have tried proper team PvP and there only experience is the often frustrating zonal experience with lots of trashtalkers.

    What does that even mean? Ranged DPS is pretty effective and the reason sets like claws arent is because they're melee.

    Considering phase requires 3 power choices I dont think its really an issue considering you can also get temp phase powers and now double phase has been fixed I dont see hibernate being a problem at all.

    Is this to make DoT a useful secondary effects? When you land a few DoT attacks its very hard to aid self anyway

    Maybe if in PvP an AoE power (except nukes) is used against a single target it would cost less endurance - say half or a third.

    As i said earlier what kind of changes do people want? From my point of view team mechanics remove a lot of issues - there is a counter to pretty much everything its a RPS style thing. eg. Slows countered by speed boost, repel countered by ID. In a team environment theres less of a gap between IOed builds especially toons which are accoladed. As far as blasters and stalkers there probably are issues but blasters can be countered by a few debuffers again its the team mechanic. I would like to stress again +hp accolades make a huge difference.

    Dear Devs,

    Personally I enjoy PvP and the only serious issue I have is the lack of high level team pvp - I dont particularly mind the way the zones work buts thats probably because I see them as a very casual environment. So mainly I would like changes to encourage more PvP so better rewards (I definately think the surgestion of IO rewards for certain milestones would be very beneficial as it makes little sense how much PvE time you need to put in to get a great PvP build), an offical competition in the mould of S4, and some Arena QoL improvements such as selectable maps, and more game modes such as attack/defence, CTF, & objective style ones similar to Assault in UT (I think more diverse game modes would be a much better use of dev time than base raids although I do like the Cathedral of Pain trial).

    Sorry if I'm typing nonsense im kinda drunk and still thought coming on forums was good idea . . .

  16. Yeah its working as intended - the defender version actually does pretty much the same damage as the blaster version this is more due to the fact of the awesomeness of the fender version. If you want a pure damage attack probably better off with the snipe or psionic dart, the strength of will dom is in the activation time/sleep effect its recharge doesnt make it a particularly good attack for your chain, although when TK Blast is chained afterwards you deal a lot of damage in a very short space of time. Saying that, for a pure PvE blaster its probably skippable.
