A good Controller will beat a WP tank.

A good Blaster should beat a WP tank.

A good MM should beat a WP tank.

A good Dominator should beat a WP tank.

a good Brute should (theoretically - Fury bug etc...) beat a WP tank.

They mean that as a defender you wont 3 shot them like a blaster with so you need to wear them down over time spamming attacks.

The reason trollers are crippled is when the empath is playing with another person with grantable mes protection. I dont really see what nerfing cm will accomplish (in terms of trollers use in team pvp) with thermals, sonics, and kins around.

Regen aura especially with power boosted is very nice for a troller meaning you can concentrate more on controlling than healing, but thats probably more relevent for an empath troller with a more active primary.
