Younger one is going as a Spartan warrior. He found a cool helmet so we bought a "bronze" shield and sword. We'll tie leather leggings to make the costume complete.
The older is going as the Joker. He even found purple pants but we're striking out on a jacket (unless we buy one new for $100+.) -

This. If they don't say anything when they give up the name, well, sorry. If they wanted to keep the name they shouldn't have given it up. But once you trade it, well, it's no longer theirs. I don't see that you did anything wrong. -
Most players don't realize the bosses are debuffed and the mobs are slowed unless they are really paying attention. Every once in a while I'll get a tell saying "nice debuff" but usually all you hear is "that boss/AV sure went down quick" which is enough for me.

And part two of the question: Is there an upper limit to how high the adjusted team size goes, as far as spawns? Say the mission holder is set to /+8 and the team is full, will it spawn insanely-sized mobs?

I think he was referring to the server location. Of course, just because a server is West or East coast doesn't mean that is where it's population is. I've never played on Infinity and haven't played on Justice in over a year, but Champion also has a high East Coast population. Justice too would empty out by 9 pm PST when I played there. The only server that seems to maintain a fair Pacific time population is Virtue, but I don't play on all servers. (Freedom is actually very bad with population loss. It's almost like an alarm goes off and everyone goes to bed. Very odd.) Victory's late population isn't actually so bad. We just lose most of the Board names.
But anytime you want company just ask. I don't have anyone hero side on Victory that I'm working on but Mann Eater plays well with others, unlike your typical stalker, and would enjoy the company, unless your a lab technician.

With the new difficulty setting, what are your favorites? I still have my squishies at +0/+0 but haven't decided what is best for my tank, brute and scraper. So what are your settings and why?

Late to the party but this is me also, and has been for at least a year (and probably more.) I always thought it was just the game advanced past my pc but unloadgfx no longer helps me either which is very tiring. -
