The worst thing is, Spring Fling is just an advertising gimmick to get the wedding pack?

Thats how I read it... "Hey we arent adding anything new for you guys.. but dress up with the 9.99 wedding pack and do the same stuff you did previous years....."

Please make a new Badge for the event called "Love Me Not". And you have to do the Valentines mission like 400 time to get it.

That would be new... and about as much fun as the BNY mission.

why? because you want to wait 60 months to compete with newer games coming out where you may or may not... but MAY get travel at lvl 1?

I have downloaded the thing from the first post on here. We have done everything possible.

I am still getting OpenGL disconnects almost twice every session.

I have already turned my settings down and worked them back up. Nothing changes. I disconnect on low settings same as high settings.

I just turned my exp off on my newest hero.. I havent gotten any exp for the winter event... but people think its wierd I have the Frostfire mission at lvl 6

Want all those lowbie Merits? turn your exp off

It is fun for players like me who have BUNCHES of characters. Your problem is that you're equating the event with collecting everything for any given character.

I look and see a new bobsled course and say "Cool! That's a nifty ride!" I zip down, and with a little practice I pick up a badge. I don't need all three badges. One is nice. Maybe later I might figure out how to boost my time, but I'm not concerned about that.

I do the Baby New Year mission and pick up a badge that my Ice/Axe tanker didn't have. Well, okay, I do it one more time and get another appropriate badge. Snaptooth is resistant to lethal damage, and I've used up my good inspirations, so I won't bother to do the mission for that character any more this year. Maybe next year.

I plan to cycle through all my characters, and pick up a few things for each of them. That's fun. No grinding for me.

I might even get Toy Collector for a few of my characters who have already accumulated significant progress on the badge from previous years.

Lets do that BNY missions... How many times?

I know this is going to come off wrong to someone.. Just try and get through it without freakin out.

This years winter event is "fun" but its really freakin close to "Forced Farming". Why? Those DAMN CANES. Only 5 Canes after that freakin BNY mission.
BNY mission is awesome like the first 2 or 3 times through, but now... Now that I did it last year bunches, and have already blasted my way through it this year about 100 times >.> Its just not fun.

But I want some stuff and I can only get the stuff with CANES... so I must.. must do that BNY mission...

Why not give 10 or 15 canes per run? Why Not? 50 Canes for the 20% reduced slow... 40 canes for each of the other recipes (enhancement) bunches of Canes for the badges and costume pieces...

Let alone the massive time sink for getting Toy Collector.

Or the insanity time sink for getting Gold on those ski slopes >.>

Holiday events should be Focused on FUN, in a game like this where many of us have BUNCHES of characters.

Why not give Canes out during missions? Like extra Salvage drops? Like at the end of missions too? We should be tripping over Canes everywhere we go, making it more FUN to take part in the christmas event.

I know people already sick of the BNY mission.. because they have been burning through just to get the Canes for their Stuff.. on each of their characters

I have decided to only do the event on 1 hero and 1 villain.. because its just to GRINDY after that.
But it shouldnt be. This whole event should just be fun fun fun. For each and every alt we want to jump on.

Anyways those are my thought.

For the first time ever... I have slowed down.

I made a new hero and a new villain.

I am trying to get as many Merits as possible, while at the same time doing all the TF/SF and doing all of the badge contact story arcs.

This may sound fine and good to some of you, but this is kinda sucky for me. But its one of my new personal goals. I have to TURN OFF my exp like every level now. So I dont out level anything.

The thing I hate the most is doing contacts and getting no merits for sludging through it. Only to unlock the contact I actually wanted/needed to do.

I really hope you guys find a way to give merits for every single contact in the game. A contact like Crimson, should give like 50 Merits, if you do the whole arc. A contact like the "TV" should give 50 Merits as well, lol it would encourage people to stop farming that 1 mission... and play through the game etc.

I have now encountered several Contacts and did all their missions that dont give merits. Please change this.

I think when you do ANY contact from the beginning to the end, you should get Merits...

And I think it should be like this:
You should get 1/2 a Merit for each actual door mission the contact gives.

So if the contact only has 4 door missions, you get 2 Merits... If a contact has 3 door missions, then you should get 1.5 merits

Perhaps the "lady of the night" will have the flies aura when she/he uses the power "Give Disease" and it goes away after visiting any hospital

Heroes don't really need any new zones. Like I said before on hero side, there are still zones and contacts I have never seen or spoken to in 4 years of playing this game.

Villains side, I've exsperienced everything... 5 times. Villains are the ones lacking in the content department.

So the devs could spend their time creating more content for the smaller segment of the player base... or they could spend their time creating content for the larger segment of the player base... or they could spend their time creating content for both segments simultaneously...

I worked long hours to get my alts the way I want them.. Put the effort into my passion and I reap the rewards.

I REALLY HOPE the token system doesnt poopoo on all the work I put into my alts.

The reason I say this, is I got the impression.. with a few tokens people can just buy whatever I might have paid 45 million for..

I would like to be a mental patient, as my day job please.
