I purchased my current laptop from a well know store in Columbus, and they literally told me to my face that it could play a game like City of Heroes. They ******* lied. So this time I am trying to do enough research that I wont get ripped off this time. Let me be honest with you, the laptop I have right now can not even play crappy Zynga games on facebook without stuttering and coughing up a lung to do it. -

Sooooooooooooooooo, I would desperately love to have a token... That I could spend on that character to move ALL of her badges to a character that honestly has atleast half of all that she has, but they just sit there on that character that I hate... While the character I love is just sitting there because, well, because I dont really wanna continue being as anal as I am about the accomplishment badges. She is level 42, and I have yet again dont every single badge contact and done 99% of all the defeat all badges.
But I will never get all those other badges that my most hated villain has, because this character did not exist back then. -
Well, the reason I want to remove all the badges from one of my alts is because I dont want her to have any.
Ages ago I made a plant psi dom... hated her from beginning to end (1 to 50) deleted her once even, when I was angry. Had NC get her back to the account for me... as she was -was- my main badge hunter on villains... >.<
She has most of all the badges redside, I dont ever play. I have angst built up internally with that alt. I wanna buy a token, where I can take all of those badges off. And put them on a character that I love, who is also level 50... who is a character I want to be my now and forever badge hunter.
Know what I mean? -

Haha, kidding aside one issue is travel. I've gotten so used to shortcuts in CoX: bases, Ouroboros portal, multiple train lines...I don't think I'll do more than be a tourist in Praetoria if I have to slog across multiple zones doing deliveries etc. Hopefully they borrow from the CoV model here and make the zones more compact.

Is there any Dev out there that can put up some real genuine information about ultra Mode and the graphics cards we will need to play it in Ultra HIGH?
Also, Is there a dev that can simply in his/her spare time go find some links to LAP tops that will play CoX Ulktra Mode in the medium settings range.

Thing is, we don't know what the resolution scaling of Going Rogue is. If Going Rogue is simply feature limited, than the mobile chip might be able to play the game.
If the game is performance limited and Geforce 9800 is the bare minimum for performance, then no, this card will not be able to run Ultra Mode.

If you are looking to spend between $100 and $200, the Radeon HD 4890 and GeForce GTX 260 will do you well. We dont have numbers from the Radeon 57xx series yet to verify if that is better or worse though. This would end up somewhere in the middle of Ultra-mode quality.
Finally if you are going to spend over $200, the GeForce GTX 285 is an excellent choice. We dont have numbers from the Radeon 58xx series yet. This would be able to run Ultra-mode with the quality maxed out (except we have no data on Anti-aliasing, so caveat emptor when it comes to that specific feature).
Note: This is based on our current internal testing and might change by the time Going Rogue is released. Also, a video card is not the ONLY thing you should take into consideration. Your PC having a decent processor and memory will also enhance your performance. As we continue to test and get more information available we will update you. I hope this helps, and happy holidays!

I am wondering if it would be possible to purchase a badge transfer token, for real cash?
This is what I am thinking. I have characters that I honestly will never play again, even thoe we have new end game coming, I do not like playing some of them. And these characters, some of them... are like heavy badge collectors.
So, what I would like to do is - Buy for real money a token that will strip ALL of the badges from 1 character, and move them to a different character?
I have some characters that have the 2nd year anniversary badge... since that is when I showed up... I would like that badge reflected on my actual main badge collector.
As a secondary thought, why dont the anniversary badges go to all of your characters in the first place? Like the AE/Vet Badge spam when you make a new character?
But anyways, I am sure lots of you have no need for this type of QoL feature, but I do know some people from ingame that would like this besides me. -

How many times have you played through the game completely on characters without PowerLeveling? Me personally on heroes is like 9 times - complete with badges... from all the badge contacts... and on villains is 19 times - complete with badges from all badge contacts...
When I suggest new 1 to 50 content, I am suggesting, that I wont have to do the contacts I have already done 28 times already 1 to 50. New contacts with new missions. So my next leveling experience from 1 to 50 wont be more of the same. ? -
Cant we all just agree to Hope that we will get all new content from 1 to 50. No matter how big of a fan you are of this game... the current content is old, and has been done by alot of people - to the point - that they dont want to do it again.
Most people I know, are currently thinking they will not be forced to do all the old content again, nor do they want to.
Their plans for the future not withstanding, this is what most people are hoping for in the circle I travel in. They are not trying to even hear that they will have an AWESOME new 1 to 20 expierience, and then be kicked out to the same carp we have now. They just do not want it. -

That's because it was a stand-alone game - it needed 1 through 40 otherwise it wouldn't have been playable.
GR is not a stand-alone game - it requires COH/V - because at 20, you're sent out from Praetoria to the Paragon City or the Rogue Isles. -
