I could bring something tankish if you'll have me
-
heh, despite the fact I'm doing this with EC the day before, I've got loads of chars who could use it, I'm in
-
Mine's getting posted when I get a decent shot (took one earlier from the char screen but the rotation arrows kinda get in the way)
EDIT:
-
-
I'd like to join with something tanky (namely a dark/dark) do the Isolator chars still need the badge?
-
Personally I love it when games are protected like this, I vaguely remember one of the command and conquer series had it where if you had a pirated version your entire base would explode a few seconds after starting a mission
-
A good chunk of us started before the EU servers even existed, I started on Victory at launch and I still have some of those characters. I considered moving to EU when transfers were available, but given I tend to play really late at night and the fact that by the time the EU servers were up I had a SG and all the usual contacts/ingame stuff I could want, decided against it

*sneaks back in* I'm in, even if it's late for me

Balance: Entangling Arrow, a Defender primary power, is less effective than Devices/Web Grenade, which is in a Blaster secondary set.
[/ QUOTE ]
Entangling arrow has inherent extra accuracy, is cheaper to cast, has longer range, and lasts longer (according to city of data)

Balance: Flash Arrow, a Defender primary power, is no more effective than Devices/Smoke Grenade, which is in a Blaster secondary set.
[/ QUOTE ]
Flash arrow has a slightly longer cast time, but again has inherent accuracy and a slightly higher acc debuff. Also entangling arrow is a level 1 power, while smoke grenade is level 16 -

Thank You, CB_GB. This a GREAT guide, not only useful in Task Forces, but grouping in general.
I do have a question, though, as you mentioned in your update as well as your original

- Start it by speaking with Positron in SC. You need a team of 3-8, levels 10-16.
- Totally possible with 3 chrs, but by starting with 6, we did fine even after losing two.
- It's ok if level 16 chrs level up to 17 during the mission.

St. Valentine is 17th level and I thought I would look into the Positron TF. Have I missed my chance? I thought I recall someone mentioning months ago that 21 was the cap on this. Can anyone clarify on this, please?
[/ QUOTE ]
16 is the cap for Positron, you can however be RSK'd for it, but won't earn xp -

Is CoV going to be released in Europe at the same time as in America?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes -
Not to sound too sceptical(sp?) but ice armour has been due to be fixed "soon" pretty much since release, as has untyped damage.
I'll believe it when I see it -

Trying to use Cedega, and all of the flags necessary to do anything with it, by itself would be a nightmare which is where Point2Play is useful.
[/ QUOTE ]
Most games require very few if ANY flags, City of Heroes for example does not require any. -
I've run it in Slackware 10 with a 2.6.8 kernel (I think it is) it's okayish but definately slower then in windows (I dual boot)
-
mmm tried a new tanker, solo and grouped: fine (inv/ss)
blaster: fine (elec/dev)
defender: fine (ff/en)
controller: fine (mind/emp)
