I'm thinking of awarding some arts to the Tank that best exemplifies the principles of the Ring , in other words, whoever does the Ringslide the most times during a Tanker Tuesday.

That's pretty much exactly what was done for the 3rd Anniversary. It was insanely great. Emphasis on insane. With 400+ Tanks, us organizers were at the aggro cap trying to herd them to/through the events.

Another party would be great as well, but it doesn't hurt to ask for something else.

It will be great even without a party. The fun is really just in the teaming.

I'm not sure if this was taking offense to what I said, or some other reaction, but I didn't mean any offense by it. That is literally what I know about ROs. They ran 8 member Rad teams or something, and posted some videos of it on youtube I believe.
I was just trying to point out that its very hard to gauge popularity from personal knowledge.

I was basically trying to say the same thing that you said about seeing your model car everywhere after you just bought it.
It's not that they weren't there, it's that you just didn't see them because you weren't involved with it.

That is completely apples and oranges I’m sorry. Adding this plaque would not set an kind of precedent in the game. This is an event which players from ALL servers have attended regularly for years now. Any MMORPG lives and dies by its player generated content, hence the issue which is about to go live. And looking ahead if any other group of players can present evidence of a similar accomplishment then sure lets have more plaques! But for now we are making our case for Tanker Tuesday and I think it is a good one. Every tanker (big and small) who has attended, learned from and enjoyed themselves at Tanker Tuesday deserve this plaque.

What about pvpec and pveec? (I think thats what it is called), or the Repeat offenders, or any of the major pvp sgs (wait, they are all gone now.... ) Where do we draw the line? Cause those may not have run as long but I'm pretty sure that they are much more widely known (based on I've heard about those a while ago and I'm only hearing about Tanker Tuesday know). If anything IIRC the reps from the pvpec and the pveec (correct me if I'm callin em by the wrong name) only got a special title.... that should be about it if it was to be done for Tanker Tuesdays.

Personal knowledge of events/things isn't really a good measure of how well known those things/events actually are.

For instance, I have barely any knowledge of what Pvpec does, and I didn't even know there was a PvEec. Those are player committees that were organized with Dev support/direction weren't they?

The only reason I've even heard of Repeat Offenders is from seeing the name, and that quote in a Sig somewhere. Apparently, they invented Rad defenders?

I've seen my own SG, The Legendaries, in more signatures(not including mine) than RO, and we're tiny even though we've been around slightly longer than Tanker Tuesday.

Tanker Tuesday has announced itself in the Tanker, and Champion forums every month without fail, as well as in the player events section many times, and even put on the Updater for the massive 3 year anniversary event.

I guess you can't read every forum all the time, but if you played the game the month before the 3rd anniversary, Oct. 2007, you would know what Tanker Tuesday is about.

This week: Lava Flo . (warning: possibly NSFW). My lvl 50 Fire/Fire Tank on champion.

She's not really nude. Well, maybe, but only as much as Magma from the New Mutants. I'm hoping to color her in a similar fashion with swirling Lava for her body.

What do you guys think?

I did a sketch of yet another one of my Toons. This time my lvl 48 soviet Shield/Axe Tanker, Mother Motherland, on Champion.

She has an energy shield, and axe/sickle so they just look like a steel rod handle, and a gauntlet on her left arm in the "off" position. She also has a bulletproof armored environmental suit that is very shiny.

I hope it meets all your approval.

I started my "Legendaries Downfall" arc the other day. It's really just so our SG's CoV counterpart, House of Malice, can fight ourselves.

I plan on doing one with our HoM villains as well.

It was hilarious to get beat down by 3 Pep Rally AVs, and 2 Mr. mighty EBs when I tested it. In fact, the whole mission was just AVs, and EBs.
Don't worry, I'll fix it before it gets published since there really should only be one Pep Rally AV.

Oh, and thanks to DB for alerting me of the awesome.

It's become kinda a tradition that I make a little Christmas card for my family to give to my relatives in place of any gifts, or whatever. I think this may be the 10th year I've done it.

Every year I nearly break down, and buy some store bought cards to give out, but every year I somehow procrastinate, then cram a new card out just in the nick of time, and end up swearing at my printer because it won't print right because I haven't used it in 12 months.

This year I actually finished it 1 day in advance! Yay, me!

I mostly grew up reading Marvel, and manga so Marc Silvestri, Jim Lee, Adam Warren, Fred Perry, Rumiko Takahashi, and these days Olivier Copiel, Terry Dodson, Chris Bachalo, Joe Mad.

I'm also liking Ariel Olivetti(Cable), Paco Medina(Deadpool), and Ed Benes and Art Ross even though I don't read much from DC.

I really like some of the digital coloring these days. Way better than the stuff even a decade ago.

Sometimes the coloring has even made me like some pencillers more. Like when Salvador Larroca was colored by Liquid in the X-treme X-men series, I loved it, but I found I didn't like his other stuff nearly as much with other Inkers/colorists.

Damn, I'm old. I remember when this thread started.

I do believe in compensating the artist(especially since I'm the artist sometimes), and I would feel obliged to make some Juggy art in return.

I know I have a Juggertha sketch I started a while back around here somewhere...
