Theres a few who do, the problem being trying to reach an agreement on what is an acceptable amount .

I tryed it.. but I only play on guardian server .. so no luck in that department for me :*(

750 Million INF. You know... I could probably...

I dunno. While that doesn't seem like much when you compare it to the prices of RMTs, 750 Million represents a ton of work, gotten legitimately.
Still, it's nice to have a base guideline. I'll keep that in mind.

I'd take in-game currency somewhere if I actually valued it, but I really don't. I'm totally open to bartering; I just need to be offered something I want, y'know?

Do you have something of value to the artist? If so, then use that to barter with. However, in-game currency (having no real-world value at all, despite the efforts of the gold farmers) is often not something I'd regard as valuable.
Helping me fix my bike? Yeah, that'd be VERY valuable.... if I were a sought-after artist. But you get the idea, yeah?

I assumed anyone going that route would start at 500 million and move up from there based on skill level and what your looking for .
Influence is such a niche thing , I can't eat it or buy stuff with it aside from in game and the amount of inf im getting for the work requested would have to make it more worthwhile then simply
searching for it online .
Which was why I mentioned it would have to be alot to get most folks intrest .

I say 200 or 300 mill... but then again.. it ALL has to be in guardian server.. and it would probably be one drawing for the time being .. I dont wanna know that they have billions of inf and desided ta commision 25+ images at one time. 
its fairly easy to do trades across servers via wentworths ((which is cross server)) i've moved 500 million from virtue to various other servers this way and its not very hard to figure out how .

And yeah, price can be a funny thing, I've got something in my Bio that talks about some of my work as an artist. someone read the bio and tried to offer 500,000.
I had to say "Sorry", even with an extra '0' I'm not going that low, it's got to be enough to get me a decent unique or two.
(This is after all in an attempt to upgrade my various 50s)
