Darn, I missed it. *pokes starchasm*

ZOMG !! I didnt even notice that was my 1000th post. woot!

well, I got some colorin' done this week.
I'm trying a different method than I did for my Irish Lass pic.

This time I basically made a flats layer then a shadow and highlight layer on top of it. I then just used the brush to apply the shadows and highlights then I used the smudge tool like crazy.

Its coming out a little shinier than I had intended, but oh well. Shiny is better than gorramit.

Here it is!

Next, Im gonna have to tackle her hair, the flames, then some clouds in the sky I think.

I have Derek's at the rough pencil stage, but have been busy with trying to color Crimson Storm. I'm gonna try to get back to it by the end of the week.

Well, I think Starry is a little busy with that new lawyer job she started a couple weeks ago. I think she needs to find a way to get paid for surfing the fanart forums and making chibis.

That's a cool sketch. Good luck inking it in PS. I'm just learning how to do that now as well. It can be a little tedious, but I think Im starting to get the hang of it.

One question, is that The Ring from champion server?

A little updateon the CS WIP. I got photoshop up and working again, and did some inking. Here the progress.Im gonna try doing the flames and coloring this weekend. This is only my second digital inking and coloring job so here's hoping it comes out okay.

Feel free to use Pep. Hmmmm....for a situation, I guess you could put her cheering on her high school team, the San Dimas Stallions. She finally got on to the cheer squad this year as the mascot. The head cheerleader, Monique, never liked her because Pep was so unpopular, but since she became a superhero, Pep's popularity at school made her a shoe-in for the cheer squad, but Monique hates her even more now because of it.

Pep is very agile, and athletic, but is also very bubbly(valley-girl-ish) and danger prone when she gets nervous(which she gets when performing cheers in front of alot of people) so many cheerleading accidents could happen. She also doesn't know her own strength sometimes.

You could also have her save the school from attacking aliens or something.

Hijinks galore! Backstabbing cheerleaders! Aliens! Football Victory! It's got everything!!

I think you have the bio sheet from when you made me the Pep sketch, but she's also on creyindustries in my sig

If I were smart, I'd let you continue in the false assumption that your last Pep pic was subpar, but I really can't since it was so AWESOMETASTIC that I start doing the happy dance whenever I just think of it. This would be horrible only in Bizarro world. It is one of my favorite pieces EVER!

Heya Showe! Fancy seein' you in this neck of the woods. You should already know about Gill Bates, since you won the champion division of that costume contest he held. I have to agree with the others and say Graver, and DarkJedi are also very awesome. Jim Tessier, and Sayterra also take commisions I believe.

Celtic Bolt is also awesome. You must have seen Dinah Might's thread in the champion forums.

Most of the other artists here will either do trades or art for free if they are able. Most of them just do it for fun or for practice so you will have to be nice and patient because it's their time and effort.
Let me know if you'd like me to draw Showe for ya, it might be a month or so since I'm pretty swamped at the moment, and I'm terribly slow. I'm not very good either, but Im free.
