  1. 11 Defenders
    10 Scrappers
    9 Tankers
    9 Controllers
    9 Corruptors
    8 Stalkers
    8 Blasters
    8 Brutes
    7 Dominators
    7 Masterminds
    4 Kheldians (2 of each)
4 Soldiers of Arachnos (2 of each)

    Total: 94

As for 50s, one each for defender, scrapper, mastermind, tanker, dominator, stalker, kheldian (warshade), and brute... and for some reason, three level 50 controllers. Wasn't going out of my way on them, just sort of happened! My next 50s will probably be a Widow, a Scrapper, and another Controller...
  2. Ooh. I'm curious as to how big our signatures can be, now. If I can, I'd love to add more SG shout-outs.

Will take some getting used to, like all new things.

    Post your GUI

    And mine.

Pretty basic setup. Enhancements at the bottom so I can keep insps open all the time. Attribute monitor under the lowest I've seen power icons and mez notices stack up, with up to three trays of extra powers and such between there are the height the Powers tab can open up to. Pet window on every character, at least for the buff pet, and the chat pretty standard, just bigger.

I've also got other windows that are only used occasionally set up so they pop up in convenient non-overlapping spots, especially recipes, salvage, and the crafting window. SG window is just sort of huge and in the middle, but having it attached always bugged me.

And yes, I usually tint my windows, but I didn't really feel it strongly on Explomadoza.
  4. I've got a couple characters with Praetorian backstories lying around, they'll definitely be spending time there (or be remade if there's a native Praetorian faction in Going Rogue.)

    Explomadoza <-> Implomadoza
    Hot Justice <-> Cold Revenge

I've also got Yetniy and Yintey, which are generally opposites story-wise, but they're definitely not Praetorian counterparts. Just silliness. I've also got some story pairing going on with Kiviuq and Nerrivik (who will definitely be exploring Praetoria if only to be morally middle grey like I always intended them to be), and Ariolimax and Banana Slug Woman (although they're just duplicates from different points in time).

Yikes. Thinking about it, most of my characters would be really hard to think of new Praetorian names for. Patteroast? Dr. Fejwol? Asoposl? Pungol? I guess giving my characters nonsense words for names a lot is coming back to haunt me.

For some reason I also like the Bell Point music in IP; unfortunately IP music seems to be disabled these days.

I noticed that too! Well, to be more accurate, I noticed that the names of the neighborhoods in Independence Port don't pop up anymore. I have the music muted and listen to my own music. But a couple weeks ago I was randomly re-exploring zones, and noticed none of the neighborhood names popped up in IP. I didn't think of it at the time, but I suppose it's something that should be bugged in game!
  6. Pretty much an overload of awesome, for me anyway!

I'm an incredibly excited about the Architect. More than publishing missions and playing other people's missions (and to the people complaining that the quality will be low: dev choice and hall of fame? If you don't care about the story at all after those, you probably never will...), I'm most excited about just making tons of missions for myself and friends, going through how our SGs got together, funny things from our character's backstories, putting together missions filled with the most evil enemies from various factions... bwahaha. It will be fun.

As for the video, it made my week. I'm a huge Barenaked Ladies fan, and it really cheered me up to see my favorite band and my favorite game intersect like that. Especially with the sad news in the last few days about Barenaked Ladies (the lead singer, Steven Page, has left the band.) I was pretty sad about that, and then awesome I14 news and awesome video came out of nowhere and touched the awesome button and I've been smiling ever since.

    More than anything: want now.
  7. I played for a few hours starting just moments after the servers went up this morning... hadn't been able to get back on the last few hours, but it just connected now.

Haven't rolled a shield or pain character, although I probably will in a few minutes! I've never been big on PvP, but I checked it out for a bit... didn't seem like a huge disaster to me! The way that mezzes and toggles not dropping work now seemed pretty interesting and different to me (there was a fun moment where I rushed a controller in midair with my stalker, they held me as I hit them with air superiority and they went down while I was floating, until their teammate web grenaded me)

I approve of Day Jobs, although I haven't really seen any effects on Live yet. I definitely approve of the base changes! Upgraded a few SG bases. Hopefully the odd bug with placing items on certain walls will be fixed soon, though.

Thumbs up from me, so far.

I think this system is great. I expect to enjoy it immensely. I love making lots of characters, but don't have time to play many of them (even on summer vacation, I only got to each character maybe once a month... and now I'm back in school, so some of my favorite characters get played rarely and other ones I like not at all )

This system is for people who like making alts. This system is for people who are happy to see a badge pop up after a month or two of not sweating over it. This system gives you something for the time you're PAYING FOR, but cannot reasonably play during (so please stop saying you're paying to not play.)

It's not for people who farm badges.

You can't satisfy everyone all of the time.

When I can, I sometimes farm for badges. I like badging. And I like this system. I'm going to think of it like vet rewards. When I see someone with lots of vet badges, I think "Oh, this person's been playing a while!" And when I check someone's badges and see lots of Day Job badges, I'll think, "Oh, this person doesn't get to play much. I'll try to make sure our team is fun!"

As for having multiple day job badges, couldn't you think of them as former jobs? It's not that hard to get around. I mean, a lot of the other badges can't really apply to your character all at once...

All in all, I say to the devs: Thumbs up. Thanks!
  9. Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor.

I <3 the devs. Thanks for all the awesomeness!
