1. Gratz to the Zap!
Master of all things MM!
2. Thugs/Poison here.

Eats Tankers for breakfast.
Blaster get held...then killed.
Scrappers can be a pain, depends on the sets.
Controllers, rarely a problem, unless they are Stormies.
Defenders, again, usually easy, unless they are Kin/Elec, there's not much you can do when completely drained of endurance.

TP Foe is your greatest enemy.
3. Thanks for the advice, at least there's more than 1 option.
4. I'm a bit of a SR junky, and was wanting to try something else, for a change, so, one question.
Is the lack of knockback protection in Ninjitsu bad enough that Acrobatics is a must, or is it possible to get by, hoping that defense is going to be enough to reduce the amount of time spent laying down.

Oooh, looks entertaining. Count me in for this.

I might make a video of just me vs the two MMs, maybe if enough people ask for it lol.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, thanks for that.
Tankers - no trouble.
Scrappers - might hit hard but they are going down.
Blaster - Hah! Not even a real threat.
A certain Kinetics Defender - Hey, what happened to my endurance. Hey, why are all my pets just standing there. Ow. Ow. Ow. Why wont he just die, he's only a Defender.

Iguana Eddie, Thugs/Poison.
7. I've not done this task force before. I could bring along Iguana Eddie, level 39 Thugs/Poison MM.
8. Well, I have a level 39 Stalker. Haven't done the second respec yet. So if there's space you can count me in for this.
9. Big grats to the both of you from Iguana Eddie!

Dark/Dark is awesome- you get 3 brilliant buttons:

Soul Drain aka Turbo boost
Dark Regen aka I'm not dead
Dark Consumption aka I'm not tired

Triggering these 3 in succession (with the aid of death shroud and cloak of fear) allows you to run into a mob of oranges, kill them all and run out the other side with all 3 bar on Full looking for more action.

I'm wanting to give Dark/Dark a go (I've never managed to get a brute above lvl 10) and have got a few questions.

I'm a bit of an altoholic, and if something isn't fun it tends to get deleted. For me, I hate late blooming characters, if the journey isn't fun, I'm not going to see it through to the higher levels. So with that in mind...

Is stamina something that is going to be needed by level 20?
Is acrobatics going to be needed as soon as possible.
If both the above are true, what pre-lvl 20 powers can be delayed until later in the build?
What powers are considered the must haves as soon as they become available?

I don't mind respeccing as part of the build process if there are powers that are going to help me through the first 20-30 levels, but are not required later.

Ok, I think that's enough questions for now.
Thanks for your time.

Dom buff for I8

The speculation has already begun...here.

It looks like the most popular option is shoulder kittens with omega cannons.

My Necro/Dark MM doesn't have Stamina. In fact with him and my Kinetics defender being duo levelled a few months ago I noticed two other interesting side effects of the Staminaless build.

1) Not enough slots. In the 20s (where both still are) I found I'm desperate for slots. I've taken all the good powers as part of my would-be-Stamina run. I just can't really slot them. The two pre-Stamina powers basically give you "their" slots in the teens to slot the normally useful powers you get at 16 & / or 18. I'm sure this sorts itself in the 30s.

2) You get most of the fun powers in the teens that normally you've to leave until the 20s. And the early 20s have 3 "no new powers" slots at 20, 22 & 24. So I found myself not knowing what to take with them really. Weird hitting 24 and not knowing what on earth you want. Sure you can get into the Power Pools but they tend to be functional powers rather than exciting fun ones. So I found myself less than entuished by dinging 24, for example.

Just two experiences I had with Staminaless builds really. It's interesting given that normally the 20s are such a time for getting all those powers you've been longing for since before the Travel & Stamina run.

[/ QUOTE ]

Pretty much agreee with everything here. My stamina-less necro/dark got to levels 22-24, and I didn't have a clue what powers to get. Didn't have enough spare endurance to go for leadership, didn't need any attacks, already had more/better healing than I could pick up from medicine. So ended up with a second travel power. Which is not that useful for PvE. The bigger problem was that the travel powers required slots to of any use (TP and Fly), which was a bit of a pain when all your other powers are crying out for slots as well.

Respecced at 27, now have stamina, which helps for those BIG fights, and a few more slots to go round.
13. Well, that was fun!
Now all I need to do is find time to fit in levelling various alts, supergroup commitments, and real life.

One question, how do you all manage to keep track when there are about four conversations going on at once plus various global chat channels?

Gratz, Paj you won, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT

Thanks.

Ragosh, one of my many alts now has full set of DOs.
(Now, if only a lag bomb hadn't hit Defiant, I might have had a chance to test them )

Spot the Lich!

F4 - Not sure why, just had to pick one.
16. Simple questions really.
Is there a dominator only villain group?
If not, why not?

Surely a better idea would be that damage YOU take is shared amongst your henchmen?

[/ QUOTE ]

That is how I think it's meant to work.

(from the American boards...link in my previous post)
[ QUOTE ]
'One example is the new Mastermind Bodyguard function, where Mastermind characters can share damage with their summoned Henchmen.'

[/ QUOTE ]

So my intrepretation of this is that some of the damage a mastermind takes is tranfered to any summoned henchmen.

Looks like I was wrong....oh well.

Should be useful for us none Force Fielders, less useful for those that can already hide inside there own private bubble.
19. Just an idea.
What about if your pets didn't die when the MM dies.
It might not save you, but it does increase your chances of getting a kill.
