It's more me rambling off my thoughts and responding to what others have already said but I figured I'd share for anyone interested.

And then there were some beings in the afterlife who had trained themselves for 2,000 years. (Such as the Hercules-looking guy) Even Goku was shocked when he heard that. Which is what causes me disbelief when you mentioned Piccolo......I know that one day for us = one year in the time chamber, but even if he had trained utilizing various methods for 10 days (10 years in the time chamber), it still wouldn't be enough. I guess you can't outlevel an enemy in DBZ like you can in most RPGs unless you are a sayian.
Yeah, that's pretty much fact. I mean you realize the Saiyans surpassed their universes version of god.
  3. Never cared for the Hulk either... now She-Hulk on the other hand.
  4. I thought Skrull Kill Krew had one of the funniest Wolverine gags. Everytime they showed up to off some skrulls one of the Skrulls would turn into Wolverine and start helping them because everyone just accepts it as fact that Wolverine is everywhere.

They seem to be that with every new FF title these days.
  6. People acting all surprised that they would bundle the cut scenes on a DVD... yeah that totally wasn't already done before Blizzard joined Activision

It's more that if you get the Edge card you get a free subscription. $14 to get money off used games, get more money on your trade ins, and get a crappy mag subscription that might on a rare occassion have something interesting isn't tooo bad.

Phelous and Cinema Snob both thought it was terrible too. Though Cinema Snob at least sounded like he got a good laugh out of it.

Oddly enough Distressed Watcher is the only reviewer I've seen say they liked it.

Maybe but the article in the newest issue was basicly praising the changes that City of Heroes has gone through, so for them to heap all this praise and throw it on the wrong developers is just downright rotten.
  10. The City of Heroes 2 thing was a few months ago and may very well have been fixed on their site, but I'm not sure since I can't find it. But the other stuff was released in their newest magazine which is not available for viewing on their site yet.
  11. Months ago, Game Informer made a mention in their magazine that Cryptic announced City of Heroes 2. We all know Cryptic is no longer involved with City of Heroes or NCsoft. I e-mailed them about it and they didn't even acknowledge the mistake in their magazine like they do sometimes. However this month they did an article titled "Revisiting City of Heroes" and credited Cryptic as the ones who made both The Mission Architect and Going Rogue. This is very annoying to see especially after the stuff Cryptic pulled around the release of Champions Online.

I'm asking you fellow forum members to do me a favor and e-mail them at feedback@gameinformer.com to let them know they messed up. They may not give it another look if only one person e-mails them, but if multiple people do maybe they'll finally realize they messed up. Also if a mod sees this, maybe you guys wanna pass the word along and send an official complaint to Game Informer about the slip up?

He might not have had the option. There was only one theater here that had it in 2D. The rest of them only had 3D showings.

Who cares? They didn't kill the Dinobots and in an era when Dinosaurs = cool that was all that mattered.

While that may be true, if she hadn't lost her powers the executioner wouldn't have just shrugged off her kick like it was nothing. She also probably wouldn't have had to resort to using explosives on the roof.

I'm not sure if that makes me feel better or worse. I've already paid for the issues and rather then fulfilling the rest of my subscription I have to pick another comic because they didn't feel like making it available that way anymore? **** MARVEL!
  16. So yeah... I haven't been able to find an official announcement about it. But I got a note in the mail that the remainder of my subscription will be filled with a different comic because it was canceled.

So yeah... they hype this new team and then cancel the book after 6 issues without even giving it an official final issue.

Personally I had felt that was done to make it more like the games. There was actually a lot of stuff that seems to have been thrown into this movie to try to please fans of the games, but rather then being happy about it most of them (Including Phelous and Angry Joe who I usually agree with) are complaining about how it didn't make sense. Personally this and the 2nd one were the only movies I liked.

Though I did find it some what annoying when Wesker makes a comment about Chris and Claire being thorns in his side. Because that is completely referencing the game universe even though this isn't the game universe and we know not everything that happened there happened here. That would be like the Marvel Ultimates universe referencing an incident from 616.

Unless the trailers wow me, I have no intention of seeing the next one. Because frankly, you know who just wouldn't work as the main villain.

BTW, that is pretty much how the Executioner is in the games so I didn't really have a problem with it.

  22. BTW what thread exactly prompted this? You made a reference but I'm not sure which thread you're talking about.

This is very true. Even the Nostalgia Critic basicly admitted he got famous by reviewing things that had a high google search rate.

Software? Audacity. It's good and it's free. Also make sure to get a pop filter for your microphone if you don't already have one.

A piece of advice you could have included in your list. Be careful if you're reviewing anything that's already been done by a big name. I suggest actually watching their review if you're going to do something they did already, not to get ideas but to make sure you can avoid covering too much of the same ground they did. Since well... no one wants to be accused of being the Irate Gamer.
  23. No I didn't get that thing you sent me! Nobody ever gets the things you send them! I don't think you're actually ever sending anything!
