I'm not asking for the moon and stars. I am simply asking for the $5 that even you admit I am "out" to be converted to an equal amount of time as if I had paid for it... because I did pay for it!

I'm not asking for a refund. I'm not asking for another whole month for that $5. I'm asking an amount of time that the $5 would have gotten me if I had been able to make such minimal payments. At $15/month, that's 1/3rd a month or... 7-10 days depending on which month you choose to pick (Feb 7, most others 10). I'm not even demanding that they pro-rate it at any of the more economical rates one gets for prepaying for months/a year in advance.

I fail to see how that is in any way unreasonable or unjustified given the specific circumstances. So far I have been given unreasonable responses.

I absolutely love the Invention system. I think Cryptic has done an amazing job by giving players the ability to tweak and customize your characters in great detail with the costume creator and enhancement system. THIS is what has kept me playing the game and paying for 2 accounts for 15 months. It's all about alts for me. I simply enjoy making new characters and tweaking the powersets. I like PLAYING, TWEAKING and BLOWING STUFF UP.

What I do not enjoy is: Standing around. I like to PLAY. I don't like the auction "mini game," I don't like the feeling that I have to farm in order to get some of the things I want. I think that 20million for an IO is a bit silly and I find it frustrating that I've been playing solid since i9 came out (I play every day WAY too much.. you don't even want to know) and I've yet to see some of the IO's I really want. I have one level 50 fully IO'd out and that cost me... oh.... 150mil? 200mil? That's way too much.


Don't get me wrong, I like a challenging game, but I hate feeling like it's a job. So.. to recap: Tweaking/Blowing stuff up=GOOD! Standing around trying to weasle and barter=BORING. I understand that some people really enjoy that part of an MMO, but honestly it does nothing for me and everytime I'm in WW/BM I get flashbacks of Orgrimmar only the lag here is MUCH WORSE. (yeesh)

Some things I'd like to see:

1) Make bases more affordable for everyone.
2) A source of unlimited respecs.
3) The ability to start a character at lvl 22. (or to make a PVP only player)

You guys have made a great game, and thanks for listening.

Pre I8: Ran with most settings maxed except for DoF and bloom. 35-50 fps.

Post I8: Solo, I can still do about the same. But, on any team over 3 people, my frame rate drops to anywhere from 5 to 15 fps. They don't even have to fire off any powers and I notice a drop.

I've turned all the settings ALL THE WAY DOWN, and it still runs badly on teams and looks like comeplete crap to boot.

I must ask, how does the game run over at Cryptic? I'm assuming it's played there....

Soon, I will get tired of soloing.

His snowstorm essentially created "white-out" conditions on the targeted group. if you use the Tier 2 upgrade then the Tier 1 .. the upgrades work but the graphics will not display correctyly. it also seems that you can double stack a tier 2 upgrade.. because it will display upgrade 1, upgrade 1 for the pet powers.

I suspect its a glitch with the upgrades not being applied and not a graphics issue. but I'll let the devs sort that out.

Actually, the 2nd upgrade isnt showing up for me AT ALL no matter which order I do it. This absolutely kills my thugs MM, becuase I can not tell which upgrade has been given. When I have to resummon quickly in a fight, it's very easy to get things out of order. Plus, it makes my trenchcoat 50% less cool!

I hope this gets fixed soon becuase it's the one character I have that is close to lvl 50. Right now, it's unplayable.

I had great fun testing the zone and different builds. I think that the ability to roll high level PVP characters should be added as a permanent part of the game. It's a lot of fun.

In CoV I've played mostly Brutes and Corruptors, and very little CoH at all. (I have one low lvl troller, which I hate)

So here's what I tested:

Plant/Thorns Dominator: I love this AT A LOT. When I wasn't dead or coming back from the dead, it was tons of fun. (which amounts to around 5 minutes of actual game time I guess)

Spines/Nin Stalker: So this is what it's like eh? Awesome. Stalking is much harder than people think. However, I killed more heroes with this build in 2 nights than I have killed in my entire 6 month PVP CoV career. Revenge was very sweet indeed.

Thugs MM: The thugs seem great. I didn't really get a chance to use them because I died too fast. Even in Bodyguard mode.

Ice/Ice Corr: Oh yeah baby. Here comes the pain. Sooo nice.... sooo cold

And just for kicks, I rolled a BS/Regen scrapper. Hahahahaha.. COME ON MAN are you KIDDING ME? Don't people get bored playing like this? Nothing but dead villains in my wake, it mattered not who or what they were. It was like when someone first showed me the cheat codes for DOOM. I was like WOW, you can be invincible?? SWEET! Then 5 minutes later it was like... oh... gee... uh.. kinda boring now

I wanted to see the signature villains, but they were usually killed before I could get to them. However, I did see the signature heroes often and was killed by them many, many times.

RV is a fun zone. I sincerely hope that something happens to buff up the villains a bit, because that's still woefully unbalanced.

HAY, has anyone tested the toggle dropping changes?
