Cloak of Fear is a big reason you go /DA and I got it at 28, it is a great power to use (all shields + Death Shroud running, then you herd, get to your spot, turn on CoF, then probably DR when you HP starts to floor, Stomp, then move on)

To cut it short, you can't get the most out of your brute without death shroud or taunt imo, and you certainly won't be able to run leadership, or be survivable enough to go without tough (few brutes are). Hasten is a no no if you want end, despite your slotting.

Time for me to try another brute this time ss/da, i've heard DA is end heavy with all its toggles but i think my end might be ok. Say what you think about my build and slotting.

Something that are rare and powerful?
Make a rad/sonic defender, noticed they are rare but very powerful with the stacked -res blasts and envrating fields -res. Sonic/rad corruptors is good so why wouldnt a rad/sonic defender beat that?

My Mind/Psi had been sat at 42 for the last 6 months or so until 2 days ago when I decided to give her an airing as most of the SG had leveled new toons up to that level. I've hardly put her down since and have been playing with a rather stupid grin on my face most of the time . I actually feel like I'm contributing to the team now, using Domination as soon as it recharges (which is damn fast with Hasten), rather than the once or twice a mission in the old days where I felt more of a leech than anything.

Also noticed this, domination up on a few mins after it drops is too damn wonderful for ultimate control! It really feels like your special when ur in big teams helding anything that moves

Think it is a post about scrappers greatest moments, so i decided to make a brute version of it

My greatest brute moment is when i got attacked by 4 players and a heavy with my EM/elec brute in RV. It was no doubts that i had to pop power surge when they attacked, and they builded my fury up very fast. When my fury was high enough i went for the empathy, the poor dude got 2 shooted by TF+ET. The heavy also died so i was quite happy about that, then i killed the blaster and scrapper. The other scrapper popped elude so i coulnt beat him, and i dident noticed that power surge was about to drop, so she killed me. Still i was happy about i managed to get the most of them.

Whats your greatest brute moment?

I got a mind/ice domi at lvl 30 atm, and i will tell what i've noticed with him:

-Squishy killer, power boosted hold will make them held long enough to finish them off with ur blasts
-Telekinesis is a great power that can be used as a panic button when ur getting more then 1 to take care off
-Terrify is ftw, in PvP its great to fear players that trying to get you (you will noticed how evry1 will go first for you)
-If a squishy pops a BF, leviate is damn useful, with hasten u can send them up in the air a hell lot of times

But it's not easy to handle a domi in pvp. Most blasters and scrappers will do evrything to kill you as your so squishy and cant take dmg. But anyway, hope you will find your mind/ice as fun as i did

Very true, i dident really noticed the longbow problem in sirens when i was lvling my brute. Now when i play a villian squishy though im really see it in xp bar

Im getting very annoyed by all the npcs running around in the pvp zones, whole sirens for example is full of longbow mobs and patrols running around. I noticed really much now when my dominator is good enough to kill players there, and i really getting sick of the debt i get when im PvPing Im not saying they need to clear the zones so its no npcs there at all, but i not get the point why its so damn many npcs in zones either. Anyone else got problems with this or it just me?

Im not using the leadership toggles in PvP becuse they would eat my end. I dont got lighting field yet but it seems to be very end heavy, but atm my end is fine running 4 toggles

hmm no conductive shield until 41? your serious gonna have problems in both PvE and PvP :P. Instead of fly, get speed instead, hasten is very useful for you. Why do you have assault? It only buffs your attacks with about 3+ dmg diffrence and eat ur end. Drop ball lighting and assault for tough instead, becuse you can never have too much res

Is this for PvP or PvE..?
Im not so sure your end will good in PvE if ur planning that, my em/elec brute dont got stamina but hes end is great in PvP but very bad in PvE. Im not so sure though how good DMs end boost is so it still could work i guess for PvE

well looks good, just don't get why it's just for lvl 26.. but looks pretty ok anyway but skip temperature protection you can get more needful powers like acrobatics
