SS/DA

Time for me to try another brute this time ss/da, i've heard DA is end heavy with all its toggles but i think my end might be ok. Say what you think about my build and slotting.

If u wonder why i got Leadership pool i got it to hunt stalkers, with double +perception i can see trough hide+stealth

With a ToHit buff in rage u only rele need one acc especially as you will be runnin tactics at the same time as well! happy hunting!

No Tough? I would DEFINATELY swap tough for leadership, and probably drop Jab too as Boxing pretty much fill's Jab's job on its own. I also don't think an SS/DA really has the end to run hasten (maybe unless each attack was slotted two end reductions but I'm a personal fan of 2acc 3 damage). Cloak of Fear is a big reason you go /DA and I got it at 28, it is a great power to use (all shields + Death Shroud running, then you herd, get to your spot, turn on CoF, then probably DR when you HP starts to floor, Stomp, then move on) at the start of a mission which can help you deal with the agro necessary to max out your Fury.

To cut it short, you can't get the most out of your brute without death shroud or taunt imo, and you certainly won't be able to run leadership, or be survivable enough to go without tough (few brutes are). Hasten is a no no if you want end, despite your slotting.

Also CoF needs 2 acc even with rage running or it never seems to hit when it needs too, I think it has an accuracy penalty, unlike Opressive Gloom which has a large accuracy bonus, and is also a good power to have, even unslotted, though I prefer fear to disorient as stunned opponents tend to waddle away, OG has barely and end cost as it takes away HP with use (which is nominal in most situations).

[/ QUOTE ] Wow, great tactic for PvE dude, but this is mainly a PvP stalker hunter as i said, and all shields seems too end heavy to run at same time(if u dont get end insps for each mish) Also, death shroud and Opressive gloom seems useless to have for PvP

[/ QUOTE ] Tactics will be no problem running, it cost the same as tough, but yeah im not sure my self if my brute will survive long enough when fighting other melee ATs without tough, i might respec out hasten later if i my end cant take it

Out of all the stalker hunter builds why SS/DA? SS is at its best in prolonged fights and stalkers wont scrap with you so surely EM/ or Stone/ would be better for hunting stalkers? I also think the best stalker hunter on villains is a /nin stalker with tactics. But SS/DA is an awesome build just the way you doing it isnt too its strengths

Oh I think I missed out on the whole Stalker Hunter aspect, my bad, but as Phil said there's other stuff for that. I must say OG is great PvP probably the main reason I took it; it's great for detoggling acrobatics. basically any non-mez shielded squishy is for the pickings.
