    It has always seemed to me that NRG mellee has really bad acc.

    Let's put it this way..
    I slot my NRG melee tank the same as I've always slotted my attacks, and he definetley misses way more often.

    When I made an nrg brute it was the same story.

  3. I really think that permafrost should get some smash/lethal resists as well.

    Permafrost makes the ground really hard, like stone skin
    Maybe less res than stone skin.

    What's the current res to cold and fire on live and test?

  4. Rularuu are too hard for my chars. Too many debuffs too fast in every attack and lots of resists.
    Compared to other villians that I can take on +3 or 4s.

    Anywho the lines werent there.

    Also I agree with others that the ports seem "cheaty"

    I like the feeling of adventure and epicness that came from traveling DEEP into the shard.

    States has been taking it easy for along time.
    What with all the heroes do his work and rescuing him too.
  6. I played abit in the GW beta.

    It's hard to explain but I really didn't like it.

    I found it hard to figure out what to do and what was going on, along with alot of other people.

    The graphics look really nice in the screenshots but in game the bloom f/x seemed really over done.

    Anywho just my opinion. I like CoH's simplicity and ease of use in chatting, gameplay etc.
    Despite some people's inability to figure out how to put an enhancement in.

    Seriously, I saw someone ask in broadcast how to use enhancements.
    He/she said that the manual said to drag and drop it into a slot, then said that "seems kinda vague to me"

    Now we just need more interactive missions. mmm
    Playing too much thief and splinter cell maybe.

  8. No my idea was to have the monster go on a rampage destroying buildings and flipping cars etc.

    Then after it's gone the heroes can help rebuild if they want.


    Right now I don't feel like I'm rescuing anyone except newbie heroes.
    It would be nice if the hellion actually could grab the purse away and make a run for it.

    Or a bank/store robbery where you have to chase down the escape vehicle. (target the tires or the body)

    All these would happen only when a hero get's near. The store robbery could be a mission you get with a timer.
    Depending how fast you responded to the alarm would determine if they were still in the store or just tearing off in their black van.

    In other words, the monsters and villians, and subsequently heroes, should have a direct impact on the environment.
    Though not necessarily permanent.

    We got many people that use it now, would like to get even more.

    Changes to Rage

    Hi my name is oldman winter I am an ice controller, I do not have a Super strength tanker nor do I plan on having one.

    Now my belief is that when rage is over your supposed to be "tired" and at a reduced effectiveness for awhile.

    Previous version was to have a disorient right?
    However some people weren't always getting the penalty afterwards. So they made it drop all end and thus the toggles.
    This gave the "tired" effect and had a a downside to it.

    This was believed too harsh so it was changed to not being able to do anything at all for 10secs. Oh yes and moderate end drop.
    However this doesnt really make much sense no matter how you look at it.

    My point is it should be changed to having the side effect of no end regen for a period. Sorta like after a blaster goes BOOM.

    This gives the effect of being "tired" and has a after penalty that isnt too harsh.
    You would still be able to fight and taunt and keep defenses up and help your team. Provided you take it easy for abit after rage dies, for fear of running out of end real fast.

    The duration of the drain would be adjusted so that you can keep most toggles running while you recover, and still stay in the fight somewhat.

    This, IMO, is the best solution for everyone hands down.
    No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
    It is perfect.
