Hours of hilarity insue from these two sites. On a bonus, if you have no internet at work, but can get it on your phone, these two sites come up well. -
I'll bite too. This is my Fire/Kin's build. I love it. Couldn't ask for better with the things I wanted my toon to have (Flight and Fire Mastery). Good for farming, and regular good ol' content.

Here's my Fire/Kin's build. The Rech is awesome with FS coming up every 20 seconds or so, and soft capped. There's no IR, and the substitution for hasten (because I wanted fly) is Siphon Speed. End is a bit heavy, but Trans is up every 10 seconds, and its' a rare miss.
Aside from the PvP IO's, the build was cheap (pre-AE), and I still don't have the PvP IO's slotted into the toon, with 3 Grav Anchors missing from Fire Cages.
It's a build that's good for farming, and regular stuff.

Beautiful work -
Happy 50 Day :-D
And now for your obligitory 'Hey you're 50, you must be rich! Give me Influence!' -
Quote:I think on every toon I had, be it a tank, scrapper, blaster, troller, or defender, I DID take recall friend back then, just so one of us had some sort of ability to get your team mate from point a to point b, because you could always respec out of it later. LOL.Ah Yes, the hollows, when I first started, much source of frustration, but boy the frost fire mission is still way cool. I still do it occasionally just to slide on the ice ramps
People doing the hollows now have NO IDEA what a potential suck fest it was back in the day, when kind high levels were providing teleport services to hapless newbies who could not get to their missions. recall friend was a serious boon for teaming and everybody carried wakies because NO ONE wanted to have to go all the way back to the Atlas hospital then try to make it through the kill zone to the mission at lvl 7 w/ no travel power.
Ahhh good times
But you try to tell the youth these days, and they don't believe you...
Lets not forget the awesome lvl 50 benefactor that would team with you, then de-team inside the mission to spam the heal aura during the Frostfire mission, because you might have a couple of 'higher level' people on team but everyone else was level 6. Or the same said benefactor that would save your butt from the igneous bosses on the way to the mission door.
I remember, man.
(this just proves our 'age' within the game, lol) -
Quote:Barefoot, and in the snow, when The Hollows took a level 7 to the OTHER SIDE of the map, by the Igneous Bosses, and back when Faultline had faults. When we learned how to sneak around packs of mobs to avoid getting hit (before jump packs, pocket d, base transporter, mission teleporter, and the flight pack were inherent). When you actually took HOVER to fly to the very top of the map, so you could slowly crawl your way to the mission door, and avoid attacks all together.back in the old days when we had to walk uphill to school both ways, and debt actually meant something.....
Ahhhh...good times.

As far as the OP is concerned I do my fair share of farming, and if you want a round or two, I'm okay with it. Be forewarned, I get bored after about the third round, and have to go do something else, no matter how much I do or don't get paid.
I do, however, suggest going through those arcs for all the goodies that come along with it. You're just at that level that's a PITA to do anything with. Sucking too much end, and not enough health. At least that was my problem with both my blasters at that level, and on up till the mid-30's before it seemed like Stamina actually did anything other than make an icon under my health bar.
Hit me up for whatever. Farm or otherwise. @Obsidian Light -
I blame Pro for making me go to a new website.
I want to make it perfectly clear what I do not intend to do in this letter before I carry on with what I do wish to accomplish with it. Here's a quick review: Pro Gamer USA's ebullitions are as appealing as braces, acne, and a wooden leg at the senior prom. Do I blame society for this? No, I blame Pro. And that's it. Pro Gamer USA's intent to assuage the hungers of her myrmidons with servings of fresh scapegoats is an indication of the depths of horror and bestial cruelty to which they have descended. -
Ran a Kill-All ITF with Rizz, MK, Horror, and a few others, and HAD A BLAST, then created a new toon with Umbral, and ran the sewers with another troller, and a very nice emp benefactor (random awesome 50 who kept us in CM's, Forts, and heals).
All and all a good night. -
Seriously?! And I had to be at school during the fun times >.<

Managed to get it fixed, the card itself was bad, one of the 6-pin connectors was loose. Switched it for a new card, and we're golden. Ty for the help guys. I really appreciate it.

So, I've been celebrating my new system all day, dancing around waiting for 'this and that' to transfer over from my laptop to my newly created desktop.
I install CoX, and then run into problems that make me want to cry.
The game is unstable with this graphics card, or the settings of the Catalyst Control Center vs. CoX game settings. It never fails that my screen goes completely black, even though I can still hear things going on in game.
I have already applied the settings from Bill Z Bubba and his thread on ATI cards, and still I am having the same issue.
This last time, I thought it had it all right, I lost the entire game, with blue vertical lines going down my monitor and no sound from my speakers.
Now, before I rip this video card out of my computer, and return it, I'm hoping a solution may be found. Maybe I missed something...Maybe I'm retarded at 5 a.m. This is what I'm running...

I used to run fairly regular weekly raids on Tuesday evenings, but due to my school schedule changing to Tuesdays, and life stepping in and rearing its ugly head, I've had to put my weekly raids on the back-burner.
As soon as things even back out, which I am forseeing that happening pretty quick, I'll start running them again, most likely Wednesday evenings.
I'll throw a post up when that's going to happen, to let everyone know.
P.S. Breathe the words 'Mothership Raid', and I'm there, no matter what time it is. -
To Flu: HAHA! Love the AOL Tech Support question. In answer, yes...Multiple times.
To 300: Yes, both programs are being run as Admin. Probably should've put that in my original post, but simple details tend to slip my mind, like that. -

I can't tell you how many times I've faceplanted into the side of a building, trying to fly through it, or god forbid X'ing down for an Oro Flashback, where I lose my fly, and have to spend forever an 10 years trying to get to where i'm going, only to be met, face to face, with Adamaster, who unceremoniously smashes me into the ground.
God, I hate that place. -
Okay, strange question, maybe someone has had this problem, and knows of a fix. Maybe no one has ever heard of this problem, and is going to scratch their brains on it for a few minutes in wonder of how this could happen.
I play CoX on a laptop: Asus G50VT series, running Vista 64-bit, NVidia 9800, Intel Core2 Duo, 2.26 GHz, 4 GB RAM.
Now that you know what I'm working with here, lets get to the issue:
I have Ventrilo, and use it quite regularly. Sometimes, my keyboard 'crashes' on me, only when I am using Vent. I cannot type, at all, in CoX, but I can alt+tab out and type in a notepad, or web address, or any other program other than CoX. Generally, it requires me restarting the game, but the 'fix' may or may not last through the duration of my gameplay.
Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if they did, how did they fix it? -
If you're really up for it, Arctic, we'll roll some bomb squads, get some badges, and kill a lot of invading Rikti together. I'll be on my Fire/Kin Inferna Inanis, and I'll probably get rolling around 12:45 (or so) CST. I'll be broadcasting in whichever zone has the Invasion activity at the time, and keep going with it. Whoever wants to join, you're more than welcome to join.

Unfortunately, I have to be at work when the Rikti invade. So, I won't get to see the beginning of such a glorious event. However, I will see the aftermath, when I get home tonight.
Save me something to do guys :-D -
/facepalm
I'd pretend I don't talk to you on the channels, but then I'd just be denying my own pantsless-ness.
All in favor of Freedom becoming the new pantsless server?
And yes, there will be beer, punch and pie! -
I actually attempted to write the question in the subject line to get the simple 'yes' or 'no' answer, but low and behold, there aren't enough character spaces :-P
Question: If I were to server transfer, but I do not have enough avaliable spaces on the server I am transferring to, would I have to purchase a new character slot?
Apologies if this has been asked before. -
I'm down for anything, any time, any place.
