Are you having a laugh?!
All this time i have spent partitioning the hard drive on my mac (and i failed miserably at this task) so that i could eventually put windows on it, just so i could run CoH. Now they decide to bring this out after i have just bought a *BRAND NEW* PC for xmas! (which left a burn mark in my wallet)..

Sadly, i don't recall ever seeing a T.V. ad for the game. I'm sure its fair to say that most kids nowadays spend their time glued to the TV.
In order to get more people recognising and hopefully playing the game, we need to get some decent advertisement out there, which i understand would cost a bomb, but may prove to be cost effective in the long run.
But to be honest, i don't mind the state in which the servers are in at the moment.
I mean, i think the community is great, better than any other out there. Personally i don't think i could handle loads of new people coming in with WoW text like "roflmao pwnt nub"... but maybe thats just me lol.

Aah top man! thats a great help. Thanks alot ill start on it right away. Youve made things a hell of a lot clearer now.. i spent ages looking on the internet for something like this thanks again, appreciate it heavily

In my opinion, gravity is incredibly weak. The damage output from gravity is far lower than that of fire. The only thing Grav has got going is the hold then use of Propel.

I'd say scratch the fire/kin and make a spines/fire scrapper. They do intense AoE and Cone damage and can run the map faster. But if you get into a team with a fire/kin the fulcrum shift just lets you shred through your opponents in mere seconds. Either way, it does seem everyone has a farming toon now, n' you know what they say "if you cant beat 'em... then join 'em"
(PS- there are some very nice spines/fire guides out there and ill try find a link for you all)

Ahh cheers bud, that gave some nice tips and pointers but i still don't know how to get my Hard Drive back to the way it was when i first purchased it. Without doing that i have no chance :P.

Someone on the game suggested re-inserting the install disk for OS-X and that i should be given an option to erase all and re-install. Unfortunately, i don't have this disk anymore, so i need to find a new method, which doesn't involve me trying to buy a new CD.

Hi guys and gals,
First off, sorry if this is in the wrong thread.
i was looking through my MacBook the other day bored out of my skull wishing i bought a normal laptop that i could play CoX on when i stumbled across a feature called 'Boot Camp'

This can partition the hard drive in to two separate operating systems (i think... i'm not a computer genius) and you can choose which you want to use when you boot up your notebook.

So i tried it, but, sadly i had something wrong and got a message which basically meant i needed to try and get my Mac back to how it was on 'Day1' where it had only Mac software installed onto it.

Okay, easy enough, i thought.... i have been looking for something like a 'system restore' button but annoyingly i don't think there is one. If anyone uses a Mac out there can you please tell me how to get it back to 'Day 1' so i may partition the Hard Drive and finally play CoX on my Mac

Well with my Fire/Kin at level 50 i can tell you that this toon is incredibly useful to farm with, you WILL need influence if you want to become the best.
As for your questions here is what i have to say:

1) Stamina should always be taken as the difference is significant for when you get into an 'uh-oh' situation where your transference misses and your end. has almost depleted it can usually keep up your shields and auras meaning it will keep you alive. I take this power on all my toons

2) Fulcrum Shift is where you will be getting most of your damage from and is DEFINITELY worth the wait, it has a nice recharge rate and you should be able to use it every time when entering a new mob with hasten on etc (tip - use in the middle of a group of enemies for its full effectiveness)

3) If your planning on farming with this toon i suggest you take hasten and super speed first. Personally i didn't bother with inertial reduction as i took hurdle from the fitness pool, which allowed me to get over most obstacles in a farm with ease.

4) There are great builds everywhere, just look some more. Try around different sites, although i'm sure there will be a decent one somewhere on this forum.

5) You need to answer this question for yourself, as you don't want to be doing something you find boring for hours upon end, especially when paying monthly for it Although you don't see many fire/kins that don't farm as its incredibly easy when well slotted. My advice to you is that you should try it for a bit see if you like the profit, if not, switch to a different perspective or your troller

I too have this problem but i'm only level 28, however i am making this toon primarily for farming as i have gotten bored of my fire/kin.. hes too squishy lol. I was wondering what would be the better epic power pool for a spines/fire farmer.

Either Weapons Mastery or Dark Mastery?
With Weapon Mastery i can use caltrops to slow their movement down whilst inflicting burn, but does this fear them causing them to run in pain? if not then i could get Exploding Shuriken which would add to my damage output

However Dark Mastery offers tenebrous tentacles but no other AoE or amazingly useful attack as far as im aware of (for farming anyway)

Please, if anyone can give some advice i would heavily appreciate it as i dont know what to do
(PS: i got my spines/fire from level 1-28 in 7 hours with breaks ofc new record for me aha)
