I'm really surprised they'd only announce it a month in advance, and schedule it for the weekend before Thanksgiving. Really?
I hope I have enough time to schedule someone to take my paper route for me while I'm gone...

My free stuff arrives based on confusing and conflicting algorithms! I want my money back!

I have to give credit where credit is due. Despite all the facts, Shubbie continues to stick to his guns. There's something to be said for consistencey. Go, underdog, go!

I won't know until the 28th... or so.

I made a new character last night, and was like, "I should try the tutorial again to reaquaint myself with it and all the comments everyone made in that thread... NAAAAAAH."

So I have to say I am extremely apointed and happy with Street Justice .
The set is just plain sweet... the aoe's are so cool as to be kickass, and a 5 target limit on one and a 10 on the other.
ITs funferior to SS in both single and aoe damage.
The set was changed from the time it came off beta but before live, and did not go back on test.
This feels rather kick and butt, even though it was kickbutt live.
To move onto a general point, will we be able to get more sets, powers, etc that we feel appointed with.
There was a way to view the real stats before purchasing, so again I feel this was a somewhat kickbutt.
I am EXTREMELY happy with this.

I'm glad I bought that points bundle the other night. To the store, Miss Daisy!

Quote:What =is= impossible is doing a Claim All on a new character you're constructing. I'd sure like to have access to the stuff I already "own" when I'm making the character, rather than having to create the character as much as I can, THEN Claim All after zoning in, and immediately hit the trainer for a retrofit. <sigh>Is it just me or is claiming account items for new characters a real PITA? The issue is that once Incarnate items get mixed up in there, it's impossible to Claim All on a level 1 character.

Street justice? Psshhhht. SKY justice!

Quote:Anecdotal though it is, this is a look at the new content I hadn't encountered. And that's too bad. Here's hoping enough people see beyond the "boring" regular stuff to enjoy the game for what it is.The tutorial combined with the outta the gate Trial is a one two punch designed to WOW newcomers and returnees alike, sadly it also has the affect of letting down the newcomers once the find out the real game isn't made up of that kind of fast paced 'fun'.

Thank you for posting this. I'd meant to when I discovered it, but got distracted and forgot. It's a great tip for getting an O-portal once you hit level 15 (and have the SG base teleporter).
In other news, if you have an SG base but DON'T have the Galaxy City teleporter, you can access Echo: Galaxy City from a new, special portal in Ouroboros, grab all the exploration badges while in supergroup mode, and then create the teleporter.

That is the weirdest picture I can imagine for a "why do I feel sick" article. Not a stock photo of someone holding their stomach, but a green costume? Cray-cray.

Quote:Yes, I like it. Also, you're allowed to take liberties with your own dang concept. I'm just there to help you focus your floodlamp into a laser.Well, NT, now you get to see the result of that brainstorming session and all the help you gave me in the process of coming up with this concept. See? I don't just talk about these things. I actually made something out of it
Do you like how it turned out? I, uh... Took some liberties with the basic premise we talked about

Quote:This is a long-standing bug (yes, I said it) from when the radio missions were introduced. Any time you enter a new zone for the first time, your navigation point is hijacked to the zone's detective, EVEN IF YOU HAVE AN OBJECTIVE THERE. Which you most likely do, since you were probably sent there by a contact for a mission.I don't think that's what happened here. Twinshot sent her to KR to talk to Blue Steel, but upon zoning in her waypoint and contact were reset to the Detective (because it's the first time she'd been to the zone), so she went there instead of to Blue Steel, was given her Radio contact and told to do Radio missions.
Way to break your own story flow, devs. Continue to bug it, guys.

Quote:Yes it does. Since (other than some schoolwork, and sure-to-come exceptions in replies to this post) people rarely write by hand any more, and most text entry is done on keyboards and textpads, the inability to type is 21st-Century illiteracy. Some people just can't type doesn't mean they are illiterate.

I just have to post here because, man, you guys have no idea what it's like going through this process stream-of-consciousness style, online, in chat, with Sam.
He has the greatest imagination.

Quote:This. (At least now the costume select screen shows costumes with "old" parts by displaying the lock icon.)Thing is, a fair number of them didn't get removed. They DID get reordered. I've had to go hunt them down on occasion. So yes, "Face 1" is *different* now - but whatever the old one is likely has a different name in the menu.
Any time I've had to update a character's costume slot, I get a screenshot of the old face (which, for example, might be Face 7) and then use it to see which face I need now (which may be Face 15). Same look, just re-ordered because of all the "movement" or addition of costume pieces.
Heck, often costume problems (for me) are just because a piece has been renamed or moved, and I just have to add it back using the current item.
