Quote:Yeah, server lag was so bad, that once summoned PA stayed out for more than 5 minutes. That's old-style Hami raid lag. I gather it means we were actually bogging down the server, making game time slow down, so there's nothing your computer can do about it. It makes your powers take much longer than you expect to recharge, and movement is erratic. It also confuses the game client, so your power icons don't show recharge states properly--you can see when a power really recharges if you watch the combat channel.

It is new TF introduced in i15. 20 merits, levels 45-50
It can be done in less than 30 minutes with fairly good team and
under 20 minutes with very good team.
Other good options are (given that team is good and everybody know what to do):
ITF - 26 merits, under 30 minutes.
LGTF - 37 merits, under 30 minutes.
Hess - 19 merits, under 25 minutes. -
It makes sense, if orange tower grants hardcapped 175% def to ALL. You have only 5% to-hit chance with Mass Hypnosis.

Quote:All Mind Control attacks are nonpositional.Interesting thought, but I'm not sure it's practical thanks to the huge +def bonus. I can't remember offhand if Mesmerize has a positional tag or not... the only power that immediately springs to mind is Dominate as psi only with no positional tag.
The easy way to test this would be to run the STF as normal and try to sleep LR... if you're able to hit him reliably then your question is answered. Frankly I'd be a little surprised if it worked myself but the old saying about 10 reasoned arguments and one case of actually finding out applies here.
According to paragonwiki http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Statesman%27s_TF, Orange tower gives 200% Def(ALL) buff.
Orange SW of RecluseDispersion Bubble Real +200% DEF(All) (hardcapped at 175%), +17.7 Protection(Hold, Immobilize, Disorient)

Quote:Better yet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMLwUItWmYoIf you get up to the counter to pay for your coffee and the clerk says, it's alright, sir, that other woman/man/child/alien paid for your coffee, do you instantly get all swolled up and shout, "Hey, I'm not a bum! I can pay for my own damned coffee!" and insist on paying for your coffee anyways?

Quote:Wasn't OP complaining about Fortune Buffs?Fortitude, speed boost, O2, Clear Mind, Accelerate Metabolism, Adrenalin Boost, Regeneration Aura, Recovery Aura, Deflection Shield, Insulation Shield, Sonic Haven, Sonic Barrier, etc, etc, etc have accept/decline dialog? News to me.
If it was regarding regular buffs, then ...WOW!... -
Quote:It seems they used different strategy than us: looks like they were taking down yellows and blues at the same time while ignoring greens.
-
Quote:You are already getting explicit asking in form of accept/decline dialog. Asking permission through chat will be redundant.Sorry about this short rant, everyone! I HATE Drive-By-Buffers! Why do they think they have a right to Drive-By-Buff anyone without asking their permission first? Don't they even know, or care, the least little bit, that by doing Drive-By-Buffing, without asking first, is gonna make them a ton of enemies! *End Rant*
As for myself, I'd love to have option Always Accept/Always Decline/Prompt. And for me it will be set to "Always Accept" -

Quote:IIRC, I had similar experience with VEATs respec at level 50. Branches were available from the beginning.Testing this now on my lvl 50 Widow...
Typing /respec allowed me to immediately pick Mental Blast, a Night Widow or Fortunata power. Selecting one removed the other from the list, like Roderick and bromley said.
Maybe a regular earned respec works differently (which seems silly to me), or maybe Mac and Fleeting are thinking of how to level up the Dual-build.. but I'm not getting the same results they describe. -

Quote:Welcome to intrawebs! This is just plain stupid... I come on here because I just wanted to bring to attention something that my coalition has been talking about and all I get are people that have to be RUDE and NASTY about it for the most part
Quote:Yeah I know not everyone is gonna agree with me, but do ya'll have to be RUDE??? -
Quote:My friend had toon with Sweetleaf in the name. While it can reference tea or tobacco, besides drugs, it was gen'd nevertheless.I had a cool character concept idea this morning. I wanted to make an illusion controller who has the ability to bring his dreams to life in the real world. To fuel his abilities while awake, he takes a lot of hallucinogenic drugs. The character will likely have references to drugs in both his name and backstory. I'm wondering though if this is likely to get me generic'd for violating the code of conduct. Anyone know?

Quote:I'd rather seeing them fix pet recharge first. As the title suggest can you please fix the editing of fire imps attacks. You can change their color, and the color of your fire powers, but it looks REALLY bad when you have all black or all green etc fire powers, then the imps start attacking and its the same orange'ish generic fire color for their attacks.

Quote:What were your settings?Am I running the wrong "escaped" arc? Mine has 3 missions with protectors (a very few) only in the first mish, and crey cryo tanks everywhere else.
I know only arc from Operative Grillo
Quote:I ran this arc twice today.
1st run, settings +0/x8/n/n, 59 PPEs:- 1st mission: 13 PPEs
- 2nd mission: 25 PPEs
- 3rd mission: 21 PPEs
- 1st mission: 13 PPEs
- 2nd mission: 27 PPEs
- 3rd mission: 21 PPEs
-
Quote:I don't know what spawn rules are for Creys. I've never ran it at x4. You probably can try it yourself and see if you getting PPEs in every group.Okay, totally can't do 0/8. Would 0/4 still spawn protectors?
I ran Viridian's arc last nite set for x6 and had PPE in every spawn in 4th mission though. If these spawn rules for Creys apply to "Escaped!" arc, then you may consider running it at x6. -
Quote:For me personally, it will be the least of concernsOhh that would be nice but wouldn't you still run into the conflicting name's problem everyone complains about?
But I'll give you that: many people are probably attached to their SG name, and would be extremely PO'd if they would have to change it.
-
I think, you missed my point. I didn't suggest to recreate SG with the same name. I wanted devs make SG global and accessible from every server.
-
Don't move SG... Make it cross-server. Problem solved.

Quote:^This. You can have my super speed when you pry it from my cold dead hands. Ordinarily I'm more of a min-maxer than a concept builder, but not having a travel power just doesn't feel right.
Also the NR animation makes me gag a little on most characters.
All my toons have SS and most have Stealth IO in Sprint. For me running 99.99% of TFs for speed it is no brainier.
Quote:Not to knock the players who enjoy Ninja Run or the developers who worked on it, but quite frankly the aesthetics of Ninja Run creep me out.
In motion, it's City of Samurai Jack. At rest, it's City of Quasimodo. I'll be sticking with Power Pool travel powers, sprints, and jetpacks, thank you very much.
