    You Rock....well done.
  2. Hey Gang:

Merit Spending and Results so far: (all crafted IO except Razzle Dazzle)

    (17) Imped. Swift Damage Proc - Sold 12 mill
    (17) Reg. Tissue Tri - sold 3 mill
    (18) Freebird + Stealth - sold 30 mill
    (23) Edict of the Master + Def - crafted in bin (waiting for GR I guess)
    (25) Razzle Dazzle Tri - sold 1 mill (recipe)
    (27) Luck of the Gambler Tri - On Sale
    (28) Expedient Reinforcement + Resist -On Sale

Note to SG: I got a lvl 25 Karma KB protection drop so I crafted it and it's in the bin if anyone needs it. Take it, it's yours. Just let me know who got it.

    Later all...
  3. Thanks Tea! Glad to be a member of the Club.

    Happy Holidays!
  4. My first thought is that a Willpower Brute with Quick Recovery and Stamina shouldn't ever have an endurance problem. What about adding Dark Consumption to your build? (I sometimes treat it like an aoe with benefits)

If you slotted Acc/Damx3/Endredux/Rechage in your chain of smite/siphon life/gloom/AirSup/MidGrasp you should be golden (not sure what the exact chain is but you can sprinkle in AirSup as needed). My attack chain is Gloom/Siphon Life/Midnight Grasp with Smite set on Auto. I sprinkle in Shadow Maul and Soul Drain whenever.

If you have enough single target attacks drop the Recharge in your attacks and add a total of 2 EndRedux.

Back before IO's and the buff to Siphon Life my DM/Fire Brute ran 2 Acc/2 Dam/2 EndRedux SO's in each attack and let his Fury take care of the damage buffage. With 2 slotted Swift he ran from group to group without stopping while maintaining high Fury %.

    Thoughts on build:
    1. Do you need Hasten? You have a multitude of attacks available already and your secondary doesn't have a click heal like Fire Armor that benefits from a quicker recharge.

    2. Add Dark Consumption (see above) in conjunction with #1.

    3. Heightend Senses as soon as it opens up at 28, huge mitigation. More important than tough early. Tough at 35 is fine.

    4. I wouldn't slot up boxing, maybe not even AirSup unless you need it for attacks.

    5. Touch of Fear is your choice. PVP certianly and as a boss debuffer. I dropped ToF and added Darkest Night debuff toggle when it got added to Dark Mastery.

Dark is a great single target set and the -acc has synergy with the Defense portion of Willpower.

    Good Luck.
  5. No welcome to billion infamy/inluence club? No "atta boy"? Makes me sad .

Maybe a poor title choice, too much inside baseball I guess. Sorry about the confusion.
  6. I've wanted to post this for a while so here we go:

Champion, my main server: Old fashioned way, a bunch of play time on a bunch of alts, SFs, merit rolls, crafting and selling rare drops.

Triumph, my alternate server: Marketeering 101: crafting badges and selling common IO's, flipping rare salvage.

Freedom, (don't ask): Took advantage of the AE craze by running this SS/Fire Broot and Elec/Kin Ruptor and went gold roll/bronze roll crazy with some Brute TV Don missions at 0/8 difficulty for fun and profit.

P.S. Wealth generating tip: if you get an orange (rare) recipe drop, think about crafting and selling if it provides set bonus like +recharge, +defense, +regen, +recovery...just saying.

Then back to EA for tickets and the quickest XP.

If we get everyone to over 10, and we have time and interest, we might be able to start/do Positron also.

Does this sound ok to everyone? Any particular things that anyone else wants to do?

I'm personally happy to run AE to get everyone to lv 33-35, and then go back and catch up on any thing we missed, as far as TF and such. But if the group would rather, we can level up while running them.

    See you at 7.
I'll be on, recreated my Fire/Rad, Nuclei Burn, from Champion and am ready to go.
  8. I asked this recently but it's disappeared....so I see that something like Photobucket works well.

My problem...when I "saved" my pics using Print Screen, only the pics saved not any words at all, so no infamy totals as an example. What did I do wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

I'd like to get a toon into the VG. What do we need?

For Quick Caps I could make a sonic/cold Corruptor or a Stalker w/recall, Brute/MM/Dom for muscle/aoe goodness. Thoughts?
  10. Update on low level Merit Rolls:

Impeded Swiftness: Chance for Smashing Damage level 17
    Regenerative Tissue: Healing/Endurance/Recharge level 17
    Freebird: Stealth level 18

In the bins in needed otherwise I'll sell them.

    2. Give the ability to pay SG rent to anyone too. This allows anyone to take care of this mundane chore.

    3. Form a base! Having the ability to have an invention kiosk and a place to put crafted IOs alone would make it worth it. It doesn't have to be fancy, but it will allow the couple of us with influence and higher levels to help twink out any newcomers. I've spent some time this afternoon buying Yin SOs for Squez and one other person who's name currently escapes me. Likewise allow everyone to add into and pull from both enhancement and salvage racks. People who steal will just be kicked.
That was me on the IO's and some DO cash, thanks btw.

I have a 33 PB with some cash available for twinking in the Group, name of Light Lion.

I'm currently running the last Hollows arc on my lvl 14 FM/WP scrapper and have enough for a random roll. What level are we starting the random rolls? Sell as a recipe or a crafted IO?

    CYA in game.

    15 = about 110m to 250m
    Others = 20m to 50m
    50 = about 100m

Unbounded Leap sometimes drops to 10m, even though it only sells every two weeks or so and there are 10+ bidders. Celerity generally runs about 20m higher.

This is all "if memory serves."

I find it acceptable to pay 200 million less and not be able to use it until level 13 instead of 12.
If you're paying $200 million I'll get ya one . I don't think that they are even going for anywhere near that price, which might be high, but $50 million for a lowbie one seems totally fair.

p.s. re-read my last post, sounded a bit snarky, sorry about that.

But what I'm looking at is something in the 20s.

I've started just filling all my WW slots with bids on the recipes and crafted before I log out.

So, I guess my real question, rather than just a rant, is how do people get these things that just aren't on the market? Or do they?
I don't really think that low level Celerity and Unbounded Leap + Stealth are by definition "Fairly Normal IO's". I would consider Level 35 Pool A's and B's as "Fairly Common IO's".

I think that they are rare (pool C) and in a located in a range (low-level) that has a TON of useless rolls if someone were to go the "random merit roll route".

The only way for a guarentee is if someone spends 200 merits on a level 15 Celerity +Stealth, that shouldn't be cheap. If you could speed Posi's and other TF's that time investment is at least 3-4 hours (on a good day).

Curious to see what you think a fair price for a low level stealth IO?
  14. Thanks OF2, answered my questions.

Switching between forms is easy enough for the Miracle Unique.
  15. I probably need confirmation on this, but I believe that any attacks (Mako Patron Power Pool) work of your MM damage mods, which tend to be pretty low.

I think for Patron's you take your shield and any utility powers like immobilizes/holds/power boosts. I kind of think that PPP attacks are like taking your own primary attacks, a bit of a waste.

My Thugs/MM has Fitness, Leadership, 3 henchmen+2 upgrades+gangwar, and all the poison except Poison Trap. I even have his alternate build without Gang War that does quite well.

    Just some thoughts.
  16. Hey Kheldian gurus:

Quick Question: What happens to you're global bonus IO's like LOTG (slotted in combat flight) and Miracle (slotted in Health) when you transform to Nova or Dwarf?

Do they go away as they are "Human" powers? Do they remain?

I've got one each crafted and will wait to slot them based on feedback from you all otherwise I guess my Kheldian has 300 mildo coming his way.

    Thanks in advance.
  17. Doesn't the Winter Lord Event seem like a great way to stockpile Merits and Candy Canes for the Marketing project?

    Just saying.

Has the free server transfer option opened up oportunities to accelerate the process for making merits?
  18. Okay, I made a Fire/WP scrapper and he is now in the SG and is running Hollows Flux arc @ level 7 right now.

Quick question: I know the plan is to park the toons at 34ish or so but when do we want to start spending merit random rolls? 15 for the +stealth stuff? Any direction here?

Random stuff: I gave him the Axe for slicing up Spectre's during Posi's. Skipping travel powers right now for extra AOE for the aforementioned Posi's. Someone else needs to get the SS/Stealth/TP for ghosting I think, any Def out there?

COV Random thought: Quick CAPs worked best for me with a Def-based Stalker with Recall for stealthing/ghosting missions. Paired with FF or Ice shields, he can even grab the glowies in the last mission to spawn Batz without having to clear the map, so I made a Broadsword/Ninjitsu Stalker when that group is ready to run.

    Later all,

Confirmation on which Server you're running this group on? I think Freedom was discussed but wasn't sure if it was confirmed.

    Looking forward to it.
  20. How about the name Without Merit for the VG/SG who rolls merits as soon as you hit lvl 15 so we can start filling the Market with Stealth IO's.

Just a thought. Looking forward to it. Great Idea.

With the new Super Side-kicking rules, you want your "alternate" builds locked at 20 for access to your level 18 power and stamina for quick Posi's. I've been running 3 man Posi's with a Peacebringer, an Emp, and an AOE Scrapper (spines/dark). The PB and emp both have concealment pool for stealthing.

I'd be interested in this as I will often "spend" my Merits at level 33 after buying what I need. I'm so digging the Defender Traps set I'd love to run that but am game for whatever.
  22. Gratz on the awesome Thread.

I started a Traps/Sonic before I noticed your thread and I'm having a blast. He is a major benefit for teams and solo's very well (obviously).

I was wondering about a basic Defender Traps Common IO or SO build and was wondering if you would post one. Not as interested in the Purpled out AV killer, just a basic build for Defender/Sonic.

    Thanks.
  23. Hey All:

A quick question: What is the easiest, best way to post Pics on the forum?

I'm kind of a newb with all matters computers and this kind of thing so speak slowly and use simple commands...

I'd like it if the Pic(s) actually show up on the forum rather than a link.

    Thanks in advance.

See the beauty of this method is that you could "build" your toon any way (stealth or not) or any when (which level drops/favorite mobs) you want.

Let's say you want magic drops and your an Invulnerable Scrapper, run the Arcs with Warriors.

I think fire is good against pretty much anything so burn away.

I recommend stealth/superspeed if you want to complete arcs fast for merit completion, otherwise find arcs you like. I ran everyone from 16-29 and the Croatoa ones are golden.
