Yep, Spines is mainly AoE dmg so you want mobs to make the most of it, unfortunately, /regen is not that mob friendly as /DA or even /SR and by no means alpha strike friendly.

Mmmm now that Cognito mentions, I just realized Death Shroud is missing, I would advise you to take it instead of Shockwave due to the KB effect. Bear in mind that DA scrappers NEED mobs for better performance, maybe claws/DA doesn't need mobs as badly as DM/DA, but still /DA shines on mobs (and are a must to take full advantage of Dark Regeneration) hence I am not sure Shockwave is your best choice.
Also not sure about Hasten, since Claws recharge pretty quickly.
Also Oppressive Gloom looks over slotted, 1 acc on base slot should be enough for it (I can't thank Maelwys enough for that tip, the extra slots improved my /DA scrappers very very much indeed).- -
I have actually checked and I have this TF in all the toons in range for it and as I am going to delete my Dark/Archery and roll a Dark/Sonic instead, better give my spot (there were only 7 players when I posted) to Dark Blasphemy for Accolade.

Ok thx, I was wondering to get on minimum lvl. For xp it is until 21 for sure (I dinged 21 a couple times on this TF) but I wasn't sure if needed to be 15 or 16.

Tbh, if I am not wrong, the acc base slot will allow you to disorient also Lieutenants (i could be wrong on this one since foes don't last enough to check that on my DA scrapper). As Spirit said, shouldn't be a problem with Health 1 slotted, specially if you are planning to enhance your regeneration with the Numina Unique as I see in your build. As you can free lots of slots in this power (trust me, not worth slotting more than the base slot), maybe you can put another slot in health for a Numina (Healing), which will boost your regeneration both as a second slot in health and also as a set bonus.
I can't see why can't you use your Aid Self with OG on, iirc, I have used Dark Regeneration on my DA scrapper while having OG on without any problem. -
Plz count me in with an undecided toon, probably a scrapper unless I can take my dark/arch defender in range for this, was it 16-21 lvl range?

Dunno about power burst, but Oppressive Gloom just needs 1 acc in base slot or maybe, if you have an acc/mez HO you can use it instead.

I got it then, earth/storm troller is for you, cast stone cages, that will immob foes with no danger of getting knocked back and getting your team mates annoyed.
I teamed with one (he is damn good with that toon) and it is awesome combo
Gah, now I am itching to roll one, if I roll the dark/sonic and the earth/storm that will make mmy third earth troller and my third dark defender, I... must... resist -

I think your problem with Air-Cell is not the secondary, it is the FF which is highly demanding on teams.
If you want to to a more "relaxed" defender, I'd advise you dark/XX, not only a powerful and helpful toon but also you get your Dark Servant at lvl 32 which will assist on debuffs, holds and heals. I have a dark/dark which I immensely enjoy at lvl 36 in Union and a dark/archery in Defiant at lvl 9 and I am seriously considering a Dark/Sonic which I think would be a great combo with all the -resistance debuffs it can stack.- -
Oh thx, but I didn't do much really lol. Thx for the guide, I have done the TF a couple times and should be no problem. On Friday when we gather, we can decide which reputation we want to do this. I did this twice on Heroic and was a piece of cake and once in rugged and we had to do a last minute shivan run to get rid of the Honoree, so we can decide on site which rep. On the other hand, if we are not bothered about how long this TF may be and are thorough in clearing mobs, this is a highly rewarding TF both in recipe drops and in inf, when we didn't ghost any mish and cleared every mob, we made between 5.5 and 6 mill inf on this TF.-

I have more toons than weekdays available to play them, but I am looking for something to do on Fridays - Weekends in Defiant, I have an Earth/Sonic troller and a Dark/Archery defender that need some love, or maybe something on Villains both servers, I am itching now with my brand new Ice/cold corruptor in Union and my Thugs/FF and my stalker on Defiant, oh man, altitis is contagious.- -
1.- Nightmarer DM/SR Scrapper
2.- Thelema Dark/Dark Defender lvl 45?*
3.- Morgan Le Fay, mind/kin troller lvl 50**
4.- Quantum Flash, Ill/kin troller lvl 50
5.- Tilt, nrg/elec blaster lvl 45
6.- Sonique Boom, lvl 50 blaster
7.- Cassandra, Inv/SS tanker lvl 50
8.- Fulla, Spine/regen scrapper lvl 50
And that makes the 8 of us if Thelema makes it to 45, which would be great since dark/dark defenders rule. We'll meet then on Friday at 18:30 BST at Lady Grey in RWZ (if full then RWZ 2)

I would advise you either a Dark/Dark Defender or a Dark/Archery. I have one each, the dark archer is still at low lvl but it has been fun to play, specially on teams, but the Dark/Dark, oh man, I have him at lvl 36 and I am having a real blast of fun everytime I play that toon.
Also I have always been mainly on Defiant and this Dark/Dark is my highest Union toon ever, I teamed with an awful lot of nice people there and had great fun with them, although I luckily joined the Union Badge Hunters channel before it was by invite only. I've done countless TF's there, believe it or not, any TF can be arranged on that channel in less than 15 minutes.-
Besides, Dark Miasma defenders come complete with your own Fluffy!! (pity I can't rename my Dark Servant as Mortimer) -
Actually I just realized there's another side to this coin. Obviously a, let's say Katana/regen scrapper with 3 LotG rchg speed, plus let's say three Crushing Impact Sets and maybe a Doctored Wounds (iirc this one also has a +rchg bonus) in Aid Self can get a pretty impressive rchg boost, top that with Hasten and that may significantly decrease the efectivity of -rchg attacks, BUT if that Kat/regen is facing, let's say an Ice/Cold Corruptor who also has 3 LotG rchg speed bonus, Doctored Wounds and 3 or 4 more rchg speed bonus sets plus Hasten, that means that the Corruptor in this case will have his slowing attacks up almost instantly, being able to stack them on the scrapper (assuming they stack, I am sorry but I know nothing about this set, my Ice/Cold corruptor was rolled just last night and is still lvl 3), hence, if these rchg debuff attacks stack, it is still balanced, the theoretical issue would arise when one of the oponents has a heavily maxed rchg bonus and the other one hasn't, so I guess it is pretty much still balanced.-

Aha, I should have spotted that one. To be honest the idea of a brute is more appealling than the idea of a tanker, hence I'll probably go for a Brute then. Regarding the mobility, it's no problem, I'll trick you into rolling a kin so you can SB me

The thing here is that Agent Magnum is fun to play on this team, anyway, no worries, I'll use this break to farm inf and stoof with my Defiant scrappers and get a few more sets done now that I am really close to get a full Scirocco's Dervish and a full Touch of Death on Nightmarer and I'd like to advance a bit on Clattuc's Crushing Impacts -

Mmmm, as per the recipes we all got, you probably missed one of the following three sets:
Stupefy
Blood Mandate
Malaise's Illusions
Unless any of these was useful for you, in which case, change the useful one for an useless set for you that besides might be sold at AH for the astronomic quantity of 395 inf or something like that -

I see now what you mean. Tbh, if that is the way, I am having second thoughts about a stone armor toon since I don't like the idea of going perma-granite from lvl 32 (or 38) onwards, as per some stone tanks I've teamed with, I was always under the impression that Granite was more like a Panic Button such as Elude or Unstoppable for scrappers and it was usual to go around with rooted, stone armor and/or minerals. -

Sorry to bother you guys, but although I am lousy at PvP, I like to be informed of things
I was wondering if, the sets that have as one of their main features the-rchg debuffs, such as Spines or Ice are being affected in PvP with the new +rchg set bonuses and the unique +rchg unique enhancements. Would sufficient quantity of the abovementioned sets/enhancements change significantly the usefulness of determined sets on PvP?
Something similar might happen with the -speed debuffs since there are also a few set bonuses / unique enhancements that grant +speed, so probably the overall question should be more general I guess.
Do you think that the new set bonuses / unique enhancements may bring a significant change in some sets for PvP? -

Tbh, the only reason why I discarded /dark is becuase I already have a dark/dark and a dark/archery defenders, so I went for Ice because it's a powerset I never used.
This is going to be my first corruptor and for now, I have many toons waiting to be taken to a decent level (let's say 20ish). If I manage to do that, Fire/Dark is definitely on the list together with the new upcoming Scrapper sets.
Anyway, thx for the input
