  1. This TF can be done in 3 to 3 and a half hours, the one that takes 6 and a half hours is the 1st Shadow Shard TF

Nope, all will cause redraw effect, that's why swords have an inherent 5% accuracy, to compensate the redraw.
  3. I honestly don't think it can be done because pool attacks are weak, very weak. If you want to try this, probably a better idea (still not good imho) doing it with a troller, if you hold your foes first, containment will increase the dmg of your pool attacks.
Bear in mind that the melee attacks available are Air Superiority, Flurry, Jump Kick, Boxing and Kick, that makes 4 pools for all of them so no room for fitness pool then you may need to do it with kinetics for endurance and damage boost. Also maybe elec as a secondary for that bit of end transfer would be advisable (if a defender, ofc).
Still, not such a good idea imho.
  4. I can see what you mean about unexperienced blasters. By the ingame description of the blaster AT, lots of people just think "w00t, teh ubah dmg pwn0rz" or something like that and assume all defenders (healers for them) specially empaths are there just to heal them.
As much annoying as it is, I also find terribly annoying the attitude of some defenders/trollers (specially empaths, probably also unexperienced or some times too much "experienced") who believe the whole team actions are subjected to them instead of adapting to the situations, set aside the sucidal blapper charges, if the team goes in before you (impersonal you ofc) drop your auras/buffs, just dive for 5 secs in melee and drop them, if not everybody is in range, too bad, if they kill your anchor, anchor another foe and stop moaning.
Sometimes a bossy troller/defender is almost as annoying as a suicidal blapper, a careless scrapper or a perma-herding tank.
  5. As per others advice on Agent Magnum build, Stone cages is ok with 2xacc and 1xendrdx, damag is so low that don't need to bother with dmg and more immob is overkill. You can squeeze some defdebuff in radiation infection at higher lvls and leave it with 3xtohitdebuff, 2xdefdebuff (or vice-versa) and just 1xendrdx.
On quickesand, after hasten just put a slow on base or a unique from a slow set (i got some chance for -recharge).
On Lingering radiation, I think you don't need en endrdx, a slow instead would do better and you don't need recharges on your stoney, it stays with you until killed or map zone.

Ah soz, you also want stalagmites with 2xacc/3xrchg/1xdisorient, trust me, you'll want stalagmites up as much as possible.
Not sure you need assault and tactics, you should be too far from your pets to completely buff them.

I posted a while ago Agent Magnum's build for advice and I am passing to you the advice given plus own experience till lvl 34. Link to that thread is here
  6. Why is it always empaths and blasters?
  7. Plz count me in with Nightmarer, lvl 50 Dark/Dark defender
  8. If you need a dark defender for mass rez, I'd like to volunteer

That Gift of the Ancients you had alone in Focused senses, I've changed it for the last Red Fortune so you get 2.5% more ranged def. I also removed the endrdx from weave and added a Steadfast Protecion res/end in Tough to alleviate the endurance from Tough a bit since your Gift of the ancients in Weave already had some end rdx plus another endrdx in Tough.

On paper, your endurance seemed all right so I removed Conserve Power and put 2 Gift of the Ancients in Lucky for extra recovery.
I put Health instead of Hurdle, maybe you don't have enough inf for a Numina Unique, but you might have a lucky drop so you can equip it, in the meantime, some more regen by just equipping a heal IO is always handy and better than Hurdle.
I removed a runspeed from quickness and put it to sprint. My reasoning is that you can turn sprint on and off for example inside a cave map (mines or council...) where you can turn sprint off and avoid that extra speed which may be uncomfortable.
With your current defenses, you might not need Elude that often, so if you get a few lucky drops of Luck of the Gambler (specially the 7.5% rchg) you can equip them there or maybe leave 1 rchg and 2xGift of the Ancients for extra recovery.

I never had a spines, but on paper this build looks good, worth giving it a try on test server imho

Edit: Actually disregard the bit about Gift of the Ancients in Elude. If you go for Gift of the Ancients in Lucky, another Gift of the Ancients will be over the 5 times bonus cap, so no point in using it on Elude.

    PvP wise, MoG

Yeah sure, and then your 50 scrapper got beaten by a lvl 9 Kheldian

Sounds exactly like my empath, except I didn't choose Health from the Fitness pool.

Put it down to one of those 'moronic moments' that occasionally flare up in what ever game you play online.

Plus you have the coolest binds
  13. Nightmarer

    GRATS TO ME!

    Gratz to you mate!!
  14. I'm always up for any respec trial. Send me a tell ingame @Nightmarer and we can try to arrange one
  15. Agreed that players who think empaths are just their personal hospital are extremely annoying, but also players who think an empath is a blaster with a self heal (and there are quite a few of those also) can ruin your teaming big time.
Biggest problem imho is that people who think empaths are only their healing bots transmit that wrong concept to other players. Earlier on, we were doing LGTF (in Union) and we had a team of 3 scrappers, 2 blasters, dark/dark defender, an ill/rad troller and an /empath troller (can't remember his primary). he didn't use his RA's until at least 3rd mish and with full maps of Chief Mentalists and Chief Mesmerists who kept us perma-mezzed, we had to ask him 4 or 5 times for Clear Mind because he didn't use it at all, he told us he waas too busy healing, when it was obvious that we were doing ok on the healing department, but if you have 4 team mates typing "Held" or "zzzz" or CM please" all the time, you don't have to be a genius. He also said something that got my curiosity, when one of the blasters asked for CM, he replied "you already got auras", I was under the impression he thought RA's provided mez protection and he was lvl 38.
Anyway, sorry for rant, basically my point is that this particular empath might have got the concept that an empath is just a healing bot from players like the one OP described, which imho is also kinda worrying for the sake of teaming.
  16. Earth is really frustrating on the dmg side, although Stoney and the imps can make quite a combination at higher levls with all the debuffs and crowd control so it's still a good option in my opinion.
Also Ill/rad could be interesting, all those stacked debuffs should be golden for your PA.

Edit: Ooops, just read about Illusion bit. I'd go Earth/rad then, trick her into her rolling the Earth/rad and you roll the fire/rad
  17. Nightmarer

    Super Reflexes.

SR is usually a late bloomer. From 30+ you'll face the problem that you start fighting heavy AoE dmg and you don't get Evasion until lvl 35, so I'd say lvl 30+ is a bit tricky for a SR on AoE dmg.
From lvl 35 onwards, SR is just awesome.
  18. Any time any server I am up for a respec, just send me a tell @Nightmarer

  21. I mentioned tonight's session to White Room and Prince Igor, they might also join us. If all goes well and my computer is ready on time, I should be at 7 sharp, I don't think it takes more than 2 hours to download the game. Can I just save the City of Heroes folder, paste it on my computer and then just create a new shortcut? I guess if it works for the test server may as well work for the game.
  22. I will probably be late this evening, I have my new computer ready this afternoon and I will probably have to download the whole CoX. I'll keep you posted.

Higgins on the other hand wants to do Katie (he's a perv, I know) and he also wants to vanquish both GM's
