Ok I don't know why all the drama started.
I don't remember anyone calling out Silit, who has handed out some pretty good advice on the rescheduling, thanks for that.
Vex, there really isn't need for any drama here. The players on this server that have wanted to head to Test have done so. Those that are curious about test can sign up on the FA thread and see if one of the teams will grab them (dUmb grabbed JK and Kiwi for the D6 team and they had fun) at some point.
With all due respect, I think you're missing the point of this ladder, which is just to chill, have some sodas/beers and bring what you have in your toon list without PLing Psi/EMs, Grav/TAs, Emps, Rads, whatever. Obviously the quality of PvPers is lower here but people are still having fun with it. Think of it like this. Michael Jordan, Rodman and those guys could have rolled into a local basketball court and killed everyone in the day, but what's the point? It would have been more likely (and better) that they just show up, chill and shoot some hoops with the kids and hopefully some of them get the bug. That's what we're trying to do here.
I'll pretty much say what 4shes said to M3z on Champion. If you want to bring a team and have some fun and some laughs, no one is going to stop you. But on a server with a PvP pop as low as this one, we can't afford to fragment it anymore with drama and such.
If you really want to help, I suggest you give build advice to people, help with evasion/positioning, team strats etc. Otherwise this is just going to be like when HVND rolled a pug PvE team 100+ to 2 on Champion years back. All it did was cause forum drama and maybe one or two people actually tried to get better out of it.

The problem here is retarded people not knowing when to pop greens or how to evade incoming damage i,e breaking up mini spikes. The only possible problem I can see with Psy and maybe sometime in the future getting changed is delayed damage (which is what makes psy so good, the way the attacks hit the target allows you to set up a mini spike)

Hey Vex,
Some here are shy about organized PvP while others don't like the duping/copying of IOs and so on. The hope is that once enough people get the bug, a ladder team from this server will head to the Training Room. -

- If this the case... I OUT! RL events happen and sometimes a player can miss even 2x... So from above statement if said player is back well he/she NOT back.
This rule is there for one reason:
"Oh, Funk is an ***, I'll go and play for Team A", "Oh Team A is boring, can I go back to Funk's team?" In other cases, you could drop for various reasons, have a ringer join, increase standings and then have the ringer quit and you rejoin.
Again, if you need to afk from game for whatever reason, it happens. Your team can still fight 3 v 3 OR ask for a match postponement.
This rule is for those teams that are short a player and thus can't fight 4 v 4, nothing sinister or anything.

Who decides? This is done by Global not Toon. It there $10 if they wanna pull a toon over LET THEM. If they wanna pull toon back for $10 LET THEM.

Replacement Player rule:
A team that is short a player due to lack of interest or real life issues may call for a substitute from the playerbase of Pinnacle server. Teams that can field four players may not use a replacement.
The player may not be part of another Ladder team.
The player is eligible to play immediately.
That player's global(s) must be added to the roster immediately.
The added player must remain with the team for the remainder of the season.
The player may not transfer toons from another server if they are not a Pinnacle native. (Eligible for waiver)

Nevermind that their old owner, Dollar Bill Wirtz (may he rest in peace), for years refused to show home games on TV because that would not be fair to people who bought season tickets. I have never seen a more hated owner.(Think PvP changes for hate level then times that by 10)
I completely agree with those fans; while no one will begrudge anyone getting happy about their local team being successful, bandwagon fans can be some of the worst of the bunch. It was particularly trying here when Montreal went to the Conference finals and everyone was suddenly a BIG HABS FAN.

"We already have a lot of forwards."
"But Markov is your stud D-quarterback."
"He's new anyway, we won't miss him!"
"He's been there forever..."

Note that I'm *not* a Habs fan in the least but you can be sure that Joe Hab Fan will go back to not knowing a thing about hockey within a week or two. Likewise, I'm sure if you asked half the people in that new Hawks bandwagon who Pierre Pilote was, they'd tell you he was a French airplane pilot.
There *is* a point of pride in being a tried and true fan of a sports team, even a long-suffering sports team such as mine (Go Leafs Go, up in the standings? Please?) because then you can truly enjoy it when things turn around.
Likewise, if Going Rogue invites new people to the game, I'll welcome them and I'll help them and I'll share the lore. Like the suddenly successful hockey team, their support (however ephemeral) is necessary to grow our brand here at NCSoft Norcal. Besides, how useful is it (apart from a point of historicity or game savvy) to know that a while ago, you could go to Paragon Dance Party instead of the snazzy Pocket D?
I welcome all new heroes and villains, if only because there might be new PvPers among them. -
We'll see tomorrow if Funk can get on in time etc. Pretty sure he's psyched to get this rolling.

1. Freedom is pretty hopping, try in the evenings EST. Try Recluse's Victory and Pocket D mostly.
2. If you're on a team and you get arena invited, you'll leave the team and join the match. If you're in a zone team, same thing. You'll get teleported to your closest arena.
3.It's mostly listed down to duels, team duels, free for alls. List a free for all with your friends first (think this is "No Teams") and then go nuts. You can experiment with the settings too, like removing travel suppression so you can freely move around and heal decay so your heals always work.

My partner got the main account gifted to them, swapped them my World of Warcraft trial (which said partner re-upped) for the CoH one; it's been five years and I've never regretted it.
CoH is a very fun game, loot-lite (to a degree) and the community is great.
Wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
