Well, Merits accumulate fairly quickly in this game. I know my Mind/Cold is sitting on 540 or so at the moment and nothing to spend them on, literally. I need PvP IOs, high-end Hamis and Purples for her, so eventually the Merits will be cashed in for random rolls but right now I'm just letting them sit.

This is my biggest problem with Merits; once I kit out a hero or villain, the Merits just sit there. There just isn't an incentive for me to roll for more stuff (bases are beyond full) or list on the Market in general (stuff moves excessively slowly redside) so...they just accumulate.

1. LARGE inspirations can't be claimed or used if the matches are set to small inspirations. Feel free to email yourself 20 more reds (which will get DRd, Respites (see point 2), Sturdy (which will add all of 2% Res)) though...
2. They're turning off email during Arena matches in a forthcoming patch.
3. If you need 40 Respites to win a match, you were never going to win the match anyway.
4. While you're opening your Email (click to popup), then clicking on the email (another click) then the object received, you're wasting a good 10-15 seconds in which you're not helping anyone on your team.
5.Good spikes are going to kill you regardless.
6. An acute observer can tell how many insps you've popped, just saying.

Friend is in the same boat, he level locks stuff at 30 or 35 , so we basically run AE for tickets, roll and craft and so on. This takes a pretty long time though, so we've got several billion between us and very little to spend it on. To pass the time, we've been buying purples and storing them for fun. Bin one is almost full (just need 12 more purples) then onto bin two.

We might use them at some point, or sell them during the merge, or just let them sit there. Who knows? We farm enough (2-5 hours per day usually, when we have downtime) that we can make money to buy more and store the ones we get as drops.

We need to clarify this situation:

We (3-0) challenge the new team (0-0). They win, they arrive at the bottom of the ladder or do they leapfrog the already ranked bottom team?

No reserves.

List your four starters and if one of them can't consistently make matches then they can get dropped and a replacement player must be found. The replacement player must be from Pinnacle server (eligible for waiver) and the replaced player cannot return (eligible for waiver, real life issues etc). Matches are usually pretty flexible, so if you have a rl emergency come up you can always resked to another day. Please note though, that if you are challenged and fail to respond, the opposing team can seek a forfeit.
