  1. I will be there next week for sure guys...and for consecutive Static teams. Glad to see you got it that far, I will have my Vet Team TP by then as well
  2. I may be there only around 9 or so...have a SG event on Pinnacle for Hallowe'en I can't miss (co-leader of group) but I will log in soon enough.
  3. Nice hook for the Mac user! Thanks for making it available as well. The Valkyrie outfit looks interesting.
  4. Nice to hear the news...curious to see what the badge UI and contact stuff is as well. Day Jobs look to be adding a bit more depth to gameplay.

The discounts at WW is a great idea; leaving more influence/infamy to spend on coveted items if it minimizes the listing costs and so on.

Lots of QOL stuff, good to see!
  5. Sounds like thrlling stuff!

The addition of the Crey computer adds an additional layer of interaction to the content as well; great to see branching dialog making its way deeper into the game.
  6. Very sharp and modern look for the homepage. Great work everyone.
  7. Yes, they say:

    Zombie attack in Founders' Falls.
    Zombie attack in Striga Isle.

Also, amazingly fun and great art and titles on the badges. Will be rolling alts with just this in mind.
  8. Tiger_Paw and Twixt will rule us all in Issue 13.

I'm rolling a DM/Regen with 3 travel pools as we speak.

But then i popped IH and loled, then did the same thing as before when her phase was done and she died.

Then i flew to the top of the map knowing she didnt have a flight pack.

You haven't seen the new Instant Healing have you? It's better called "Instant Respite", and it puts a movement debuff on you.

Of course, you've always been a little slow Syph...

Bummer. Did you see how Kara phased and then fried you with spammed brawl and jump kick?

    It was epic.

Also, Whirlwind with Kinetic Crash, take some knockback upside the head kiddo.

    P.S. LOL Syph, just cause.
  11. For those that think 30 days is too long, what are your playtimes?

Myself, I tend to play A LOT because I work from home and hop on to do a little gaming every now and then. It will take me forever and a freaking day to get this on my namesake since I can log in for a Katie, log out then log in to to do some crafting.

At my rate of downtime...maybe logged out...14-18 hours a day (being very generous here) so...98 hours of learning per week. That's about 3 or so days of offline progression...eek that's two months to get one month!

Well, I guess I'm saying 'bye!' to my main so I can get these as soon as possible and then logging her back in. This is going to kill my marketeering though.
  12. Hmmm

Whether or not 30 days is too long depends entirely on the player's gametime I suppose.

If you can only play for an hour or less a day, that's 23 hours logged out and rewards accruing faster. If, on the other hand, you're ingame a lot, this will take longer to achieve.

The Devs, I think, intend this to simulate a workplace. You don't (usually) get the top job within a day or two of arriving, do you?

Even though my eyes popped out when I saw the Villain Accolade powers (Web Grenades? Wow) none of this seems game-breaking, except perhaps the Salvage drops, given we are told that rewards "increase with time".

One day Temporal Analyzer, one day Chronal Skip?

The XP progression is something I have seen in other games and I welcome it here, especially with some of my characters mired in the mid-30s.
  13. Just bring Tier 3 yellowwwws...At worst it would be a draw at best you'll just pulverize me, lol SR.

Just take IOs out of the Integrity base if you still have access to it.
  14. Syph, let's rumble before practice.

    Gathering Tier 3 reds now...
  15. Dunno if the rules still stand but:

"When you first join you are placed in the "Unranked" category of the Ladder.
You become "Ranked" after winning your first Ladder match. (Unranked users can play each other and the winner becomes ranked at the bottom of the ladder.)
When you defeat a higher ranked player you move up half the distance between their rank and your own (skipping over any players that have been inactive for over 30 days).
Your rank on the Ladder does not go down if you lose a match unless your opponent is ranked DIRECTLY below you.
When other players beat people above you and jump over you in rank you will slide down.

    EXAMPLE OF RANKING CALCULATION:

Terp Man, currently ranked #25, defeats VX, currently ranked #10.

    25 - 10= 15/2 = 7.5

Terp Man's rank would move up 7 spots from #25 to #18"

Also, it's @Neuronia - Dreadful Avails Spine/SR Scrap. Just so there isn't any confusion on accounts etc.
  16. kk I have time for one more after...going to have to recopy and respec at some point though.

    Dual builds nao plz.
  17. 4-0 -Kurgain Elec/Therm vs. Dreadful Avails 50 Spine/SR.

    So much end debuff blargablarg.

    GG
  18. kk farm my Spine/SR then, I have some time for a match before lunch.

    PMing you.
  19. I signed up on your website as well there...don't know how much time I'll have to duel but should be able to between practices.
  20. 1900 HP and a bunch of reds helped, not to mention Killo likes turtling. :P

Not letting it go to my head though, I know it's mostly a fun build. :P
  21. Focused Accuracy ftw!

Don't sweat it Killo, I don't want you to lose rankings over it or anything.
  22. Agree with Jazman and Tripp.

The Invasions are awesome cool...and I finally got my Rikti Axe on my Fire Tanker woot.

Keep them as is and cycle them into gameplay once every few months.

    Welcome to the ladder

  24. Problem is, PPPs are still just Web Grenades, a pet and an armor.

Unless they buff these through the roof, which may need to be rebalanced, they're just better off sharing the hero APPs with villains.

Everyone has the same epic powers, same choices...works out well for everyone.

Or they can hit Power Boost and ther others with the nerf-bat again.

PvP content is something we are looking at improving in the very near future, with some new systems to support it.

    ooh! shiny!

I've never been much or really even tried to pvp... from my understanding only the most "hardcore" players do. That being said I'm sure I'd be wiped across the floor as these folks are the ones who spend the high influ to get the best of the best of enhancements. Kind'a tells me it's a waste of my time to even try... Am I wrong?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well, you have to do stuff that is fun and so on for you. When I try to get my sg involved in PvP, we head to an Arena and do some level 4 stuff, or make balanced teams and explain things to them.

There's nothing wrong with just getting together with a few friends and having a slugfest, not everyone can or wants to put in a bunch of hours per week of practice...
