  3. Woot! If I don't run Tough, I can fight forever. Once I get my Miracle unique, I should be able to run Tough as well with no appreciable end loss. Fought a pylon for a few minutes to test end consumption, then I went in search of a RWZSC group! Killed some 53s, died to some lucky hits twice against a 54 group, and accomplished the RWZ Scrapper Challenge on the third try! WOOT! So, here's the final build I settled on. I'm still missing a lot of the LotGs, Aid Self still has generic IOs, and Health only has the Numina's unique and Heal and 3 generic heal IOs.

    Wise. I left as soon as I got all my Fake Nem, and skipped a lot of the PPs. Already did the Overseers the other day before I knew I needed Fake Nem. Rularuu weapons = sick!

    There's also Cozmik's Playground. There's a fair number of people in it, I get most of my TFs from there, and there's often people LFT and such as well.

    I really need to join PinnBadges one of these days. Two years ago I used Pinnacle Badges, but I finally left it the other day as there never seemed to be more than 10 people in it, and no one ever talked.
  10. Finished it up this morning after work. Did X-Ray and Tango, mostly X-Ray. Bonus to doing it here is that there's also a lot of Paragon Protectors around if you need that badge too! (which I do)
  11. I 5-slotted the Red's Fortunes since that gets me 5% recharge, and I'm at def soft-cap already (unless something hits me with def debuffs fairly regularly). I threw the extra one in focused fighting to save end and squeeze out all the def I could.

    I think the Thunderstrike 5-slot has some bonus I wanted, but didn't need the defense bonus. I'm at work atm, and can't pull up Mid's. For the FU-Slash-Focus-Slash chain, I think my global recharge will cover it...it almost does now, and I don't have Hasten (which I will in the respec). I purposefully dropped slots from Strike so I could have 5 slots to spend for set bonuses/uniques in Health elsewhere.

    I used ToD instead of something with spiffier recharge (currently I has CI and some procs I think?) due to the fact that I really need the defense bonus from six-slotting.

    Re: Tough: I rarely ever activate it. I noticed that having 3 steadfast gave similar bonuses as 1 steadfast and 3 titanium (like 3% less resistance), so I dropped one slot out of it, not thinking of the cost of the -kb. Maybe I should just one slot it...or go back to 4 slotting it.

    Good point on the Regen unique. Not sure what I was thinking.

    I do plan on having a second build for exemping down once I get this build going. Go for level 30 or something for the IO levels, pick up six slotted strike, ignore the 40+ abilities, etc.

    Yay advice! I'll see about jiggling the build around when I get home.

  13. I was on a MA Freak slaughter mish today. 3 tanks, 1 ta/a defender, and 3 scrappers. The only 50s were me and the spines/invuln.

    The tanks, especially the whiny level 40 invuln/ice, insisted that everyone sit there and finish off the the very last mob, then wait for a while and move on to the next.

    This did not sit well with us 3 feral scrappers. As soon as the last mob hit the ground, I was bouncing into the next group. The spines/inv was already there (and rightly so, it's a waste of time for him to single target when there's AOE to be had!).

    The 40 tank kept insisting that no one could take alphas but the tanks, so please wait...even though no one had died or gotten low at all. He said he just wanted the team to have a good time, and dying would ruin that. One other scrapper said that we were having a good time.

    So the 40 kicked the other two scrappers. The 3 tanks promptly let the defender die, and then two of them (the 40 and a stone tanker with granite, lol!) died, leaving only me and the third tanker up. I then told the group to be careful, tankers don't take alphas well. I *still* didn't get kicked.

    So the leader replaced the two scrappers, and we completed the mish and started another. I kept playing my normal non-stop playstyle (first 50 was a brute ), and he said "there go the scrappers again". I replied that he should just kick all the damage dealers so that the tankers without enhancements could let everyone else die and then die themselves.

    This apparently didn't sit well with him. He told me that I had no damage (lol) and that I was just making a mess that the tankers had to clean up. Then he FINALLY kicked me.

    Seriously though, how does a TA/A 'fender ever die with 3 tanks on the team? How does a granite tank EVER die? lol badtanks

    (Also, I picked up the "Tank" exploration badge today, so in the future if there are disagreements, I can just show them that I'm a tank!)
  14. To second what laxx said, I generally don't pick up damage auras until after Stamina. Or if I do pick it up earlier, because there's not much better to take, I generally won't use it until after stamina.

    They're pretty harsh pre-stamina, which also means pre-End Red SOs.

    I named my Claws/SR "Rend Facestab" based on something like this. Seriously, arresting people by slicing them up with foot long claws? What the heck!
  16. I found 5 whole fake nem today in PI. They never seemed to respawn after the first sweep. Tomorrow, I'm off to FBZ!
  17. Yeah, if you look at the second build, I picked up a lot more regen and recovery (some set bonuses, but mostly from the 3 uniques, which don't show up in the set bonus list, I think).

    I don't have the numina's, miracles, or zephyr's yet. This is my first character that I'm dropping IO bombs on, so any tips would be welcome...but no purples. The three previously mentioned sets will be hard enough to scrape together.
  19. I like him a lot, but he's not to where I want him to be yet. I dish out pain pretty well, and rarely get hit (yays ez softcap). The problem is that I can bottom out my end very quickly on anything that's a melee Elite Boss or tougher (any AV, Rikti Pylons, etc).

    SR is only annoying before level 22 or so. After you get SOs (which in today's post-AE world, takes like 15 minutes), you become more an more unstoppable.

    It's kind of like a train. Takes a while to get going fast, then nothing can stop it.

    Catalog of Missing Costumes
    In the upper left: it's the shirt under the scarf. Same as bottom right, except there's those red bands on the sleeves. It looks like this goes in Female - Upper Body - Shirts, rather than Tops With Skin. Guessing.
    Upper right: Not the peace sign or the collar, but the yellow thing under them. Also, this person's character concept was pretty funny.
    Bottom Left: This top, as far as I know, is called Hack or something. That's all I know besides "It isn't there"
    Bottom Right: The pink top under the jacket. Very similar to the upper ones, but not actually the same.

    For a minute, I thought these were possible to make through clever use of the standard Tights and creative use of the patterns that go on it.. but no.
    There's one other that I noticed before I started making this catalog- Tops with Skin - Desire. Something like that. Haven't seen it since. Jay is sexy.

    Still trying to jab PrintScreen whenever I see something unusual, which isn't often.
