Not to really mess the universe up, but I have discovered something of importance to Hami Tanking: Dark Regen is immune to Hami -Heal blasts. Blue side DA tankers have more HPs and thus a greater heal, but a sufficiently rech boosted DA brute should be able to tank Hami (with EoEs) indefinately. The end drain and fear resists in DA is a major plus as well.
The importance of this is that 1 or 2 brutes could do what currently 6 MMs are doing. Thats +4 for Mito hunting.
The only thing of concern with this plan is knockback. ID should be sufficient to get the brute in and survive the yellow alpha before the taunt team sweeps in and leaves only the blues and greens and Hami to hit the DA brute.
We arent quite to the point of experimental strats, but this has much promise from a numbers perspective.

Sounds like fun. Im in if you can tolerate a small absence around 11pm. Ill need about 20-25 mins to run to my step-daughters high school and retrieve her (band trip, leave 6am, return 11pm).

Use SandMan Chance for Heal Proc in your quick rech attacks for healing goodness. Its not much, but it can add up in AV fights.
Ive bee nthinking of rolling an IceArmor/ElecMelee tanker. Super soft controls. Heals from attacks and Hoarfrost. With Energy Absorb to keep the end up. Not much as a solo'er but a serious team tank. -
At least use a tinyurl so it isnt so obvious on the mouse over of the link.

Many apologies for not leading the raid tonight.
Around 10am this morning a good friend of mine called up and said that she felt well enough to try to go out for dinner tonight. Not a big deal normally, but she has cancer, so it is a big deal. Around 530p or so she called back and dinner was a go. I got in touch with Fanged and Cherry (who brought Tom it) and they agreed to take it over.
Thanks to all who helped out (Tom especially) and to all those who attended. Way to keep the Hami beat downs going.

Funny moment from the golf cource today.
#7 is a 380yrd hole, but you start about 70-80ft above the hole. No biggie. Easy to drive 350 but its nothing you'll brag about. So I let one rip 330-340. As we start down the hill to the women's tee for my wife, my son says he wants to run down the hill. We say its okay after my wife hits, so he goes back to the top of the hill and waits. After my wife hits he, I tell him its okay. And down he goes full steam, until he hits the flat portion where the women's tee is. Stumble... stumble..... face plant... skid. Before he even gets up, "I'm good." *just like in the pepsi commercials http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8OriX9PWqs* And then he got up and continued to the bottom of the hill as fast as he could (he's 7).
Im glad i had a nice long way to get my ball because i couldn't stop laughing. And yes, he was just fine. The grass is nice and thick and the ground soft from recent rains.

Alrighty then... looks like like we have enough people stepping up to raid as usual on Sunday, just with a different set of leaders.
-
Ill step up and lead the raid. I can also handle yellow or hami team leads.
We just need a Scrapper lead, Ranged Lead/Targeter, and another taunt team lead. -
We beat the sewer trial in 1:11:49.
We should have been done under 50mins but tankers arent known for being delicate and one of the pods was destroyed early and we didnt recover well. By the time i called for a regroup things were already far south of the Mason-Dixon and eventually everyone but me died and had to hosp it. We cleaned up and went back at it through 2 more cycles to get the hydra down.
One of the TFT teams (with Cherry and Fang on board) finished in 58m, and the other TFT team failed. -
There is nothing that says we cant still do it providing we
a) make sure it stays on the schedule
b) get leaders lined up in advance -

Quote:Darn skippy. If it doesnt scare you, you arent ready yet for kids. Fear is natural once you realize just how intensive kid care is.I'm getting to the age to where I'm thinking about kids now and this stuff scares me...
The worst thing about kids is that they can bring you to the lowest low and the highest high in a really short time frame. Emotional rollercoaster. And when you get more than one, they can tag-team and either make the lows lower or the highs higher, and sometimes they take turns on each end balancing each other's actions out. Go in with an open mind, do your time, and dont get too attached to them cause they'll be gone before ya know it. Until they hit 18 remember you are the adult/parent first and thier friend second. Dont screw that one up (we dont need more whiny/emo/angst-ridden Gen Y'rs).
And yeah Ill get bathed in naptha for this, but step-parenting sucks. Big time. Especially when they get older. Im yet to meet someone in person that has happy things to say about it. You had better REALLY love your spouce if he/she has kids already. Just a friendly warning from some who is there now.

Quote:Its not so much a factor of time (check state laws on statute of limitations for civil cases) but more a factor of proof. Only documented procedures, injuries, etc are usually accepted for these sorts of cases, so unless there is a good deal of documention about what went down and why (there may have been a legitimate reason for not using the forceps) you would be high and dry. A lot of this would depend on what got stuck and where. Usually its the shoulders that get stuck and the tongs are used to gently pull the head, but if its the head that gets stuck, the tongs are useless because they cannot get around the head in the first place. Forcing them runs a high risk of injury to both mother and child, and thus hands are used as best as possible since it is a very serious condition that needs to be remedied fast.Oh (((AngieB))).. I'm so sorry. I would go Mother Bear on their *** too. I have to get a brain scan done on Tom to prove any wrong doing. Even so it's been 8 years and might be too late to file a lawsuit.
You can always schedule an initial consultation with a personal injury law firm to get an assessment on your case as they would better be able to advise you based on the laws of your locality. (Initial consultations are sometimes free and usually (if not free) fairly cheap compared to immediately opening a case file.) -
Quote:Without some physical therapy... yes. Is it healthy.. no. He really needs to be extending and stretching that arm to regain 100% mobility with it. There is the rare possibility that there is some residual damage that prevents him from extending it fully (neither of my elbows lock out, but they have always been that way). But likely those muscles got "comfortable" in the cast and it takes some work to stretch them back to where they should be (im guessing its the bicep thats stuff and causing the extra resistance).Ok, so my autistic son broke his arm (just above the elbow) back at the begining of the month. Cast is off now (for about a week already) but he still doesn't straiten it all the way like he does his other arm. He's using it, just not fully extending it. Normal?

For Tanker Tuesday #59 I will be leading a team of Tanks on the Sewer Trial (TaskForce/Trial Tuesday). Should be an easy one for all tanks since the Hydra damage is from the guns not any sort of debuff. Just drop through.. get guns.. kill gens.. drop hydra.
Looking forward to #60, since I haven't heard anything MEGA planned, I still put forth the idea of a massive Zombie Invasion. Server wide. I have a dozen or so sets of salvage to spawn waves of zombies. We can make teams and split up into different zones and beat 'em back into the ground. -
It will also be Tanker Tuesday, so I will be with the tanks, but we shall see if I cant get a squad together to run this tanker-style.

MoITF: The only thing really challenging on that is having a spawn from the crystals be right on top of the support. It happens sometimes.
MoBSF: Will require good timing on the end room so that the ambushes are handled while the brute dukes it out with Reichsman. Technically you are defeated by Reichsman (and end up in a holding cell so I guess this is one cant really get =)
MoKTF: Um.... dont be a noob. Bit of a grinder but really easy to Mo. -
Quote:Well thats your loss then because lots and i mean lots of TFs get formed on BMT. Yeah lots of idle chatter in there, but it does serve its purpose well.I did Posi this past weekend on my grav/thrml but I have a ton a toons that need different TFs. global invite me @CrackBack and @Cr4ckB4ck and lemme know when it's going down. I don't do BMT cuz I'm not one with kiddie crap and das all I ever hear that goes on in those channels.

Quote:Back when Regen and Burn werent nerfed.....Bah, whippersnappers.
Old School is someone that remembers the 5 minutes that being */Dev blaster was FotM because Smoke Grenade was bugged so bad you could debuff entire missions into auto-miss oblivion.
THAT'S Old School.
You youngsters and your IOs and capes and ED and all that. We got SOs and were _thankful_! I remember when the Respec was hard! When Perez was -the- place to go at level 7...
(mutter, grumble...)
Back when touching the bottom of the trenches in Terra Volta caused you to random teleport...
Back when Calvin Scott was in the game...
Back where there were no doors on tech maps...
for the really old school....
when Rest didnt immobilize (beta)
when you entered a building in a city zone, you actually walked inside instead of warping to the rooms under the map (alpha) -
Okie, I've been thinking about this, and in its current form, I am not going to participate in this wave of TFT.
Im all for rewards but I am against "entry fees". Yeah yeah its only 5M, but thats still not chicken feed to everyone. Granted you can make a few million in a TF, but these are speed runs, so the payback will be much lower. 1 Team makes out like bandits, the others lose money. Its no longer about bragging rights and having fun at that point.

Could be in the Bugs forum, but I was sifting through badges and I noticed the text for Celebrant (1yr anniv badge) was messed up.
Its on several of my toons, and others were noticing it to. -
Ahhh college. Back in my day (waggles cane), MUDs and Netrek were the games of choice. Had to rig the venerable PPP link to netrek from my dorm room, but many a night were spent questing away. First semester is always the toughest striking the right balance of play and fun. Best of luck to ya.
