There can't be a no death restriction for the entire trial due to the constant rad pulse, inevitably someone is bound to perish from it.

Highlander Endgame is proof that sloppy editing will kill a movie worse then acting and scripting. Last I checked there were 3 versions, theatrical, cable and DVD all with different editing/scenes, etc.

Highlander the Source = worst Highlander movie ever, worse then Highlander 2.

So these are the changes I'm thinking of for Keyes:

1. When Antimatter starts his regen cycle; neither disintegration NOR the obliteration beam will fire due to the time freeze and they cannot fire until he is finished regenerating or his regen is interrupted.

2. Loves a Challenge should be stripped of the no death clause, period. Wouldn't it be challenging enough to not smash the terminals and let Antimatter fully regenerate without the no death clause? Also didn't the devs state sometime ago that there would be no more "no death" clause badges?

3. Instead of idea #2; adjust Loves a Challenge so that if someone does perish that the whole league isn't penalized.

4. Adjust Avoid Green Stuff so that the whole league isn't penalized. last night we would have gotten it but someone decided to put "be stupid" on their list of things to do at that moment and turned on their fly power. This resulted in the circle appearing over the heads of some of us and by the time we realized it....too late.

5. Bunker Buster: eh, no major gripes about that badge. As a suggestion, tweaking it to smashing all three doors in FIVE seconds instead of three may not be bad. Still a good chance of failing it as someone may get to trigger happy or someone decides to NOT LISTEN to the orders of "stay away from all the bunkers until the bunk buster sub team is FINISHED" (this happened the other night, the person was subsequently voted OUT of the league)

6. Anti-Anti Matter: no change needed for that.

Given that Antimatter can still defeat the league when people are being disintegrated thus healing him thus making him nigh invincible, I don't really see the above ideas nerfing the trial to the point of making it ridiculously easy.

Well the Oracle did tell Neo that Smith was his equal/opposite to "balance the equation".

My take is that everytime another "one" is arising, there is an Agent with the "alpha mentality" to make decisions and actions similar to what Smith was doing in the first Matrix such as when he told the others to leave him alone with Morpheus. The other two looked at each other with a silent "whiskey tango foxtrot" expression then left the room. Smith then removes his ear piece and starts speaking rather candidly to Morpheus about how he feels about the Matrix and how he is trapped within. After Neo blew up Smith, the Architect reassembled him and tweaked his power levels, and Smith rejected going in to be erased. What I don't think was part of the plan was for Smith to go totally viral and take over everyone. What Smith did was overwrite himself onto others, but if he could do that, then perhaps Neo could have done something similar or at least mind scanned anyone connected to the Matrix.

Hm, given that Neo was the One or more accurately the 6th One per the Architect, and he can supposedly warp and change the matrix at will, and everyone is mind plugged into the Matrix....could Neo have had the ability to tap into the minds of anyone plugged in and never realized it?

Neo never really did figure out the full scope of his powers and by the time he came close to doing so it was the end.

How about ships with a strong structure to handle the speeds, how about something like Star Trek's navigational deflector shield that sweeps space debris away from the ship as it travels to avoid collisions (force = mass times acceleration, etc), life support for the crew, methods to keep the crew from having "cabin fever" on excessively long trips even at FTL speeds.

Remember the old Rock Hudson movie the Martian Chronicles? If my memories are correct, the martians killed the initial explorers, but the bacteria/germs they brought with them on their bodies that is harmless to us was lethal to the Martians and they all died off. So what happens when we set foot on one of the Earth type planets we've been finding of late? Will the mere presence of us being on that planet kill off some or all of it's life due to simple bacteria/germs from us that are harmless to us? or will something from that planet prove to be anthema to us? Only way to find out is to get there, of course

But we have many problems to deal with before we reach for the stars like that.

Errors such as this can and have happened with me on all the trials, however Lambda seems most prone to it.

Also locking the league still appears to be bugged causing team rosters to become scattered upon league entry.

It's more likely that when Exalted came online it was immediately inundated and overloaded with people making toons to lock in names and the system couldn't process/check all the names at that time as efficiently as it normally does.

If you were totally polite in your inquiry/request and THAT was their response then you might be able to take the matter up to support level. They may not do anything but that kind of response from them wasn't needed. A polite refusal should suffice.
