Organizing character slots on Exalted.

Check the attributes of the file to see if it's set as Read Only. If it is, the game can't write the changes to the Exalted character list. You'll need to uncheck the Read Only box, make sure the file is closed, organize your characters how you want them, exit the game so it will finish the write process and then reset the Read Only attribute.
To see and change the attributes, right-click the file and select Properties. Near the bottom of the page is a section labeled Attributes: with 2 check boxes for Read Only and for Hidden. If the Read Only box is checked, the file is set as Read Only and needs to be unchecked.
This is all assuming that they applied the same settings to Exalted or that the script that writes the file has been edited to allow writing the information for Exalted.
Of course, if the Read Only box is unchecked, it means they didn't remember to fix the script that writes to the file to account for the new server. In that case, file a /bug report ingame and also start a post about it in the City of Heroes Freedom and Issue 21: Convergence Bug Reports Forums section right above the Gameplay / Technical Issues & Bugs section. If you start the post there mention that you checked the files Attributes already and that Read Only was unchecked.

Solved it. Problem was some file corruption. Replaced the file and it works.

I used the old playerslots.txt file for the other servers to keep my characters on servers in a certain order but this doesn't seem to work on Exalted. Any tips on how to lock the order of my characters for that server so that they don't reorganize every time?
