as much as everybody I'd like to do it sooner, but there is a very slim chance there will be enough people signing on that way.
feel free to organize your own for the 5th though -
for PvE I think indeed fireball is better, due to fact that mobs 47+ (lvl you get tornado) are either robots, carnies, malta or random enemy type from alternate dimension. Robots and carnies resist it, so aint very much use against those. For PvP though, I'd say pick psi.

why does server seem to crash each time you get near hami with less than 50 heroes? Bet they added some code that prevents people actually attempting the WAI method of defeating him
One little thing that sprung to mind though... does the ice animation always show when you use crey pistol on hami (so even when there are tons of trollers/epic holders tryin to hold him)? Cause hami is immobed and thus the anim should show, but might be diff for hami. -

not everybody builds his toon with PvP in mind, but bout 75% of the villains PvPing are stalkers, which got hide as lvl 1 power. Get a pet empath, tactics, other +perception powers, and you can hunt em downnext time you go to BB gimme a call and my kin/elec with tactics can come along to help ya

personally I dont see how you have end problems in dwarf form (unless you fight sapper-type enemies of course). Also if your playstyle is tanker/scrapper you may wanna ditch nova at higher lvls and focus on human/dwarf form (do take it at low lvls though, as its great damage compared to others of your lvl). Then again, you'll easily find out what build suits your best once you start playing them. Kheldians are the most personalized AT you can find in this game.

aye it was a great event to test out pvp build. Coming from a support class style of play, I decided to test out my current low lvl DM/SR scrapper and my soon-to-build MA/SR scrapper. I had a high lvl scrap in beta of CoH which I decided not to rebuild as he got boring. But now that I've seen em busy in pvp.. wow.. just.. wow.. such fun to be able to kill rather than hold em, keep em busy and waitin for the cavalry to arrive.
And man does DM/SR rock in RVthe fact I could solo 3 stalkers, brute, dom, corr and thugs MM while eluded, thats just scary. (then again, the thugs MM makin the mistake using gangwar on a DM must make up for it
soul drain ftw!)

add to that the fact that the villains only need to do a SF (a hard one nonetheless, but still) to get the equivalent of a hami-o. Also the fact that CoP trial is also a 3-team effort (hard but managable). Another thing I found when googling on hami there seemed to be a hamidon trial, yet im not sure if hami trial is same as what now is the eden trial. Now there might not be another method or there may be.. but I do think that current tactic is far from optimal. Of course there's always a brute force method for anything, but it isnt always the optimum method. After all, you know what they say.. if brute force doesnt help, you arent using enough.
Reason why americans havent found a diff way.. with all those people able to do the brute force method, lack of actually having to schedule one for a few weeks just to get enough people, why take alot of effort to find a diff way? If no-one searches, how do you expect a solution to be found? -

Illusion is pretty easy to solo pre 32, especially after lvl 18 when Phantom Army is available.

depends on your secondary, and still think its inefficient to solo compared to other ATs (for the record, I didnt have a nice time soloing on stage till phantasms, and even then it wasnt really viable to solo) -
just gave it a whirl in the RV event, and found that the travel isnt slow at all, i can keep up with superspeeders with just sprint running (and of course swift/quickness)
bout the attack chain, yeah i got shadow punch now, this will be the eventual build after a few respecs, shouldve added that
What i did find though is that i prolly need health a bit sooner, however havent found a power to swap for it (btw, scrapper is currently lvl 7). Got the plan to drop the auto powers of SR and respec em in later. This a good idea? Cause the defense they offer seems minimal.
Bout the recharges, I found that with hasten+quickness I had no prob keepin up an attack chain. Also end didnt seem a big prob with dark consumption running. I'll keep those endmods bein a waste in mind though, thanks for the heads up

well I had my share of regens, so couldnt bear with yet another regen
, especially cause imo SR would do a bit better in pvp. The movement is also geared for PvP cause of it being unsurpressed.

right, new toon time.. next victim: the DM/SR scrapper. I always had one of these in my mind basically cause of the synergy between the -acc from DM combined with the +def from SR. Prob is, I know that this build will prolly be sippin end till the bar's empty. Hence before I lvl him too much, I'd like some comment on the build.
Please note, this build is mainly geared for PvP, yet didnt want to totally gimp him for PvE. Therefore i didnt take a travel power but went along the road of swift+sprint+quickness and hurlde+combat jump for fast unsurpressed movement.

7-8s is long enough as if I hear you right I can alternate tremor and fault to keep em stunned and knocked down for a while
still remains the question is it worth sacrificing the boulder for it?
