i personnaly would say that stalker is one of the worst AT for PvP

    [/ QUOTE ]

they are powerful in the lower lvl zones or 1 vs 1s... in the higher lvl zones or arena team matches etc, they become a lot less useful. They are single target killers, but in a good team they get killed as soon as they touch a teammember.
  2. hey bud, count me in! Can bring on any toon that you need when you do the TFs, lowest hero is my scrapper at 20 (DM/SR), vills I got a few in the 10-20 lvl range, none in the 20-30, a 35 brute (stone/stone) and 40 MM (robo/poison).. just gimme a shout over global when you got a date and I'll see what toon you need most

oh, and welcome back to the game bud (as you keep ignoring my tells )
  3. grats mate, enjoy the white squiddy lobster!
  4. if you need people to SK others, nef is always interested in helpin fellow heroes out

edit: already got badge though, so others who still need it get priority over me

same ere guess its murphy's law: pass a new issue when you cant play it
  6. meh.. why do I almost always end up in the lesser team of a match (no dmg vs high dmg)
  7. hm, seems my team received a major can of whoop-[censored]... maybe a good thing i didnt show up then

(then again, of course I wouldve been able to prevent that from happening stupid work at night )
  8. just tell em to sign up on this thread
  9. afraid theres a chance i might not make it as well due to havin to do some work tonight and not sure when thats done.

    Uber damage

think my best unbuffed (no insps, no fulcrum, no anything) was at 30ish, fury at 75%, seismic smash on a rikti drone gave bout 600 dmg. My best buffed attack.. well.. I dont really pay attention to the numbers as I like the "SMASH!SMASH!SMASH!" feeling
  11. siphon power, although not "needed" once you get fulcrum, is great for debuffing the damage of your foe. iirc, it has a base 20% dmg debuff. As for RoF, with I7 it SHOULD have more use as dmg buffs affect RoF as well. Still I agree its a pretty situational power.
  12. meh.. reminds me of the following situations that ended up very messy for my WS:

void boss next to AV (dun remember exactly, but I think it was either anti-matter or mother mayhem)

void lieut near shadow cyst (2 diff spawns, but very close to each other such that it was kinda impossible to aggro 1 without the other)

2 shadow cysts near AV (requiem in final WS arc). Now THAT was messy!

great 3 HIGH damage dealers v a scrapper, a troller and a blastfender, not impressed with this draw

    [/ QUOTE ]

heh, or 2 trollers + defender vs brute/blaster/corrupter
  15. yeah, the PA team is only needed to keep initial aggro while the teams get into position. As soon as all teams are in position, you dont need the PAs anymore, as the healing blanket from kin, rad and emp is enough to keep everybody alive.

If you are interested in leading PAs in the future, I'll be happy to give you a few pointers in the followin raid. There is one main thing you should know when dropping PA, is that you need to be in constant contact with the raid leader. Other than just droppin PAs, you are also the eye-in-the-sky, and can coordinate with the raid leader as to mob movement, mito aggro etc, things you cant clearly see when on the ground.
  16. id say FF as well.. however forcebubble, great as it is.. never seems to work well with pets

"hey look... an enemy pushed in a corner"
    ...
    ...
    ...
"oh ffs! attack him you fools!"
  17. oh yeah, i know, re-read and see i phrased it a bit wrong.. we were only with a few people in the blob with the crey pistol (which indeed is an immob, not a hold.. times we have to spam "DONT USE CREY PISTOL!" during hami raids.. *sigh*), was just hammerin on the "hami's mez-resist increases, the more ppl there are in the blob" theory
  18. there there children, behave..

first of all, lemme say that I been to all but the first succesful raid on union (damn bein 44 at that time ), I been in the organizin part of most of em, done research etc etc, yet I dont think any of the methods (mitoclearing vs mitoignoring) is "better" than the other. Its a matter of taste really.

Mito-ignoring has the prob that poorly coordinated teams keep droppin and you have to micromanage the teams. Mitoclearing has less of this prob, but takes more time (compared to organized teams usin the ignoring-mito tactic).

To all the people saying "raids SHOULD be done like so-and-so", I'd say.. feel free to DO it. Saying "Union should do it the Defiant way" or "Defiant done it like this, surely this is the best" or "You know.. you should change this-and-this in your plan".. be my guest and organize one here. Dont care how many 50s you have, dont care how well you organize raids on defiant, this aint defiant, this is union NOT defiant.

One of the main reasons (I guess) that we dont have raids as often as Defiant is that most of the people will dread farming hami (like me). Once per 2 months is enough for me personally really.

THIS specific raid is organized by babel, I'm only usin my expertise from organizin previous union raids to help him out as secondary leader. So this means, his plan goes, if you think you can do it better, do it.

Now, please limit this thread to signups and plan updates from babel. If you want to discuss whose tactics are better, start nother thread for it.

P.S. I dont intend on flaming people, its just discussions like these always get on my nerves

blind CAN 1 hit hold bubblers..and YES its sleep+hold..NO the sleep isn't always noticable..why?..easy..the hold takes over the sleep..only the cone is PURE sleep...to say it very n00bish...you can't be hold and asleep at the same time in the game:P (you can perma with sleep/hold chain tho (mind troller)

    [/ QUOTE ]

I know that, just statin ive never been held/slept with blind through disp bubble, nor that I have held/slept someone with blind through disp bubble. I DO know blind has a sleep component, all these statements bout blind having a sleep/hold factor is nuttin new to me, if it was I seriously have to wonder what I been doin on stage for the past year-and-a-half.
  20. must be a lucky sod then.. dunno if psydock used blind against me in last 3vP match though.. if he did then thats another few adds to the "not been slept by blind" list
  21. [ QUOTE ]
1 REC and 1 ACC should be enough - it has a high base ACC and fairly decent REC as it is.

    [/ QUOTE ]

though the REC is disputable if you also got hasten running
  22. im a bubbler (ill/ff), been hit with blind plenty before... have yet to be slept by it
  23. good combo sure, but if you cant lock em down while they CAN do damage you still are pretty fked.. point is in this tourney I dont expect many builds geared for PvP.
  24. [ QUOTE ]
Is PvP in COH / COV any good ?

    YES

sheesh bud, you DO manage to summarize my whole post in 1 word... kudos to you my man
