the changes i think need to be done to make SS better is:
- modify rage
- improve hand clap by making ku instead of kb and adding some dmg (minor to moderate)
- and possibly increase dmg of tier 1/2 powers to compensate for change in rage

My main arc HAD this power as the main defense for a custom minion, then I ran the mission with a few of my toons and even with only three minions surrounding you the sight of all your powers as little tiny dots was pretty common. Made the mistake of running this at +1/x3 the first time with my Emp/Elec.
In fact, just about any constant aura power can bring some serious hurt when you stack them on minions and higher settings. Damage auras from a /x8 spawn of minions, Slow Auras, debuff Auras, Status Auras (OG, CoF) etc...
The safest thing is to stick with basic attacks and basic defenses.
Ex: I gave footstomp to a custom Boss, then set my mission slider to 1-54. He was spawning as a Lt (that bug really bothers me), and was destroying my characters with footstomp. Had to remove footstomp in order to give anyone lower than level 20 a chance to beat him.
Giving AoE powers, Status Protection and Higher Tier Attacks is a sure way to make your custom critter very hard to deal with.
Also, dont remove ranged attacks from your custom mobs. The XP formulas seem to be set-up to favor giving everything at least ONE ranged attack. So when making a melee oriented character, don't turn off their sole ranged attack.
however to add my 2 cents
on a minion i try to avoid almost ANY buff/debuff sets because of stacking
for LTs, some buff/debuff is ok, but ONLY buff/debuff *can* cause issues, usually best to dilute their spawn pool with some non-debuff
for boss, i would try to avoid tier 9s, but almost anything else is fine for them since they dont spawn in high numbers to begin with
on a final note, dont make EVERY critter in the enemy group have a mm primary with summons cause you will be overrun with pets
the best thing you can do for a custom group is variation so your not throwing too much of 1 thing at an opponent (too much debuff, too much slow, ect ect) -
i dont mind that they took it out, i mean it was only 1 level, and if it wasnt as good as they wanted, i would rather have higher quality product than them just leaving it in anyway
one reason i like our devs compared to other games is the fact that if its not up to their standards they would rather postpone it until its of the highest quality
even without incarnate stuff, ill still have plenty of things to do (2 new toons, cathedral of pain for upper lvl toons, badges for my main, moving all 6 of my heros to redside, and prolly several things that i dont even know are in GR yet) -
i do like the mish tp power a lot, and im not complaining about the price tag of it as i just glad to have it, i do feel the rech is a little long
i think 30 min would be too short of timer, but 1 hour would be perfect since it would be just about as long as most of the other special tps -
that sounds like a good haul in for that day, the last big badge day that my main had was when i17 came out and i got all the new redside badges (i think totaled around 30ish badges)
right now my main cant get any badges except for vets and the last dmg badge till GR is out lol -
if you just open the AE interface and in the "my stories" section, one of the tabs is "my enemy groups" and "my custom characters" (or something of the like), but you will be able to delete from there
alternatively manually delete them from the correct folder (this method is offline) -
i think brutes are some form of combination between scrappers and tanks, and IMO i think brutes are better due to having the resists near tanker (and cap of tanker) and the dmg near or above scrappers due to fury, and i have brutes that can be dmg dealer, or tankers, or a combination

i do support the changing without logging feature, but as stated, its in the devs pipeline for their to-do list -

and buffs enhance different things (regen, defense, resistance, ect), basically anything that gives you a increase from normal stats is a buff
debuff is well, essentially the opposite of a buff
buffs are awesome and debuffs are not so awesome (if they are applied to you, but applying them to enemies is awesome)
for a blaster however, defense and resistance buffs will help you live longer and end recov buffs will help you keep attacking longer and +rech buffs will help you attack more often, i dont think blasters have too many debuffs to put on enemies except from minor secondary effects of certain sets (like ice blast has a slow effect which is a speed/rech debuff)
i think i covered most of the basics, but if you still have questions feel free to ask more -
just have to kill him, but nosferatu is a very tough EB/AV at that lvl, you need high def/res to negative dmg and high acc/tohit to counter his toggle debuff
the key ive found to beating him is to stay out of melee range as much as possible -
i dont think conserve power takes anything other than generic IOs, so how could you have sets in there to begin with?
and another question is what would that have to do with an old version of mids? -
i think shadow shard revamp and/or expansion has been asked for many times now lol

i would choose Eviscerate because its decently strong and doesnt kb things all over and is stronger than shockwave
i would take shockwave too, but the freaking kb is annoying, so i hate the power, if it had no kb i would use it all the time or if it did kd instead of kb like focus i would take it -
one of the best fights in my opinion was BABs vs statesman
when i do the fights too i always set the lvl to 50 and 50, so that it forces all the things that spawn higher than 50 to spawn at 50
one of the more suprising battles that i saw was zenflower vs lord recluse -

in a regular raid, i would never ever ever choose the HO, its so not worth it, i would only pick the 53 merits and i even feel that is a bad reward for the amount of coordination/effort required to partake a full raid
i myself dont prefer to do the raids for 2 reasons:
- no badges
- not good enough reward (53 merits is better than 1 HO, but i can get 53 merits or more in the same amount of time or less doing a sf/tf which requires MUCH less poeple and is MUCH easier to do)

Luminary VS Nightstar-----------------i think 50-50 since they are both extremely similar (like posi and antimatter)
Woodsman VS Shadowhunter----------this one i think i might have done as well, i think its a close fight because woodsman is weaker overall but has pets and shadowhunter is stronger offensivly and defensivly, i think shadowhunter will win in end though
Citadel VS Siege----------------------this ones a 50-50 since they are both extremely similar (like posi and antimatter)
Statesman VS Tyrant-----------------statesman absolutely no contest, i saw this one and ingame states has so many uber freaking powers that hes hard for almost any AV to beat, tyrant ingame atm is extremely underpowered and im excited to see how hes revamped in GR (right now hes so pathetic almost any of the other praetorians can beat him easy)
as for infernal vs infernal, i think the vindicators infernal will win because he has the pets, other than that they have nearly identical powers
on a side note, i have experimented with lots of AV fights like this, and the 2 strongest AVs that i have seen are zenflower and dr aeon AV (dr aeon AV was the strongest of them all, zenflower was a close 2nd) -

i agree that GMs are extremely fun to fight, but i also agree with the fact they give pitiful rewards, even soloing a GM will net approx 17k inf not in sg mode while soloing an AV not in sg mode will net like 130k inf
some GMs poeple dont fight because they spawn all the time (like kraken, ghost of scrapyard, paladins, ect) and other GMs poeple dont fight because they are too situational or require force spawning (caleb and arachnos flier come to mind)
the arachnos flier in particular when it does spawn, basically despawns in like 20 min, so unless you have a full team outside at the right time, your not gonna take it down, and when villains can go heroside and just run an STF and get the badge for the flier that doesnt pop a force field up or despawn
another point to bring up is the lack of GMs redside, there are only 4 GMs in all of redside (not counting the master at arms) and 2 of those 4 GMs are annoying enough to get that unless your a badger, your not gonna ever see them, the other 2 are spawned almost all the time, so poeple fight them so frequently that they just get annoyed with them
i agree with adding the rewards to provide incentive for GMs, and i would also like to add that they should make more GMs for redside -
ok then, well if the decoy is just a taunt bot and acts kind of like PA with 0 attacks, then the power seems fairly balanced
i honestly like this idea and will give an alternative to the current sets, i like ninjitsu secondary, but its a little end heavy, this set would be like a mix of a few different things and would be quite fun to play, especially since i think devices was more meant to be a stalker secondary anyway since its kind of mediocre on blasters -
usually people make posts about them as much as 2 weeks ahead of time, the hami raids go on more on some servers like virtue i hear they have weekly or biweekly raids
best suggestion is just pay attention to the forums because majority of the time they are announced on here -
i still think adrenalin shot is quite powerful enough to still be the tier 9, in fact it could just be switched with the trip mine entirely since the trip mine is kind of a meh tier 9
after looking through it again, i think surveillance might need to get a slight reduction in the debuff like drop it to maybe 5 or 7.5%
how would the decoy work? would it be like illusions phantom army or just the single decoy that the phantasm summons? does it even attack or just act as a taunt bot? i think this power might need a tiny bit more explaination of how it would be used cause it could be VERY overpowered or worthy of the tier 8 slot -
seems decent, but some of the powers seem a little overpowered, specifically adrenalin shot, that power would be good tier 9, but reduce or eliminate the 300% rech bonus
theres a few other powers that i think need tweaking, but the overal design isnt bad -
dont forget to go back and edit one GR releases since the markets will merge there wont be distinction between red and blue markets like there is now
