Grr, back down again?
Wouldn't be so bad if the Training Room weren't so much better than live right now. This makes me a sad panda. -
I don't think it would be game-breaking, but it would be problematic enough that it's not likely to happen, except maybe if they change the mechanics on how dual builds work.
-
I would very much like some sort of word on this, or confirmation that it's supposed to be down, but I guess I should give up hope that it'll be up again tonight.
-
Having the same problem. Can't get past the server selection screen.

Well this post just plain looks stupid now...

Yep would of loved therm and fire but instead we get Traps and AR??? whats up with that.
[/ QUOTE ]
to me it's a toss up...
Emp/Fire is a combo i've wanted ever since I became the self-proclaimed Emeril Lagasse of Empathy...
TA/AR is a combo I've wanted since I realized how brokenly powerful the combination will be.

Empathy/Fire? What would your character name be? "Feel the Burn"?

Maybe I'll spend the time playing City of Heroes. At least for a few minutes before I remember that I'm too excited about I-16 to play during I-15.

Back in the day? Heh, my office got a nice official-looking fax with a very similar scam going just a couple of months ago. The chorus had changed to Malaysia but the verses were all the same.

People still use faxes? -

Just like dogs and chocolate. Yes chocolate can kill them but it takes one ounce of milk chocolate per pound of body weight to kill a dog. So if your 20 pound pug eats a single candy bar it will be fine. Dark chocolate on the other hand is significantly more dangerous.
[/ QUOTE ]
I had a 60 lb basset hound eat 13 oz. of baking chocolate. That's the unsweetened pure chocolate type. That would have made a dog twice his size very very sick, and would have killed him. Luckily, large amounts of salt (also toxic) dumped down his throat saved his life.

See, this is your problem right there. The first rule of being a leader is to always act like you know what you're doing.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, I'm well aware of why I don't make a good leader. I was simply pointing out why I don't want to be the leader. It's just not worth the effort when I can have fun without any of the effort. -

Some particulars are left out of certain sets (no yellow ice patch, no bloody ice...). People will whine but then that's better than the alternative
[/ QUOTE ]
I can see why no yellow ice, but what's wrong with red ice?
[/ QUOTE ]
We want ice to look like 'ice' and because of how the FX were created when you apply a very saturated, non-cool hue to them they no longer look like ice and instead look like a cartoonish jewel.
Even saturated greens turn ice FX into emeralds, so we've had to desaturate the hues as they move away from the cool cyans/blues.
There's still reds, oranges, yellows, etc...but they're desaturated tints.

That's a good idea. Any word on an ETA of a Cartoon Jewelry power set? -
This is me starting a team:
Me: *recruits a few people* Okay, what's everyone want to do?
Guy 1: I dunno
Guy 2: R U real girl?
Guy 3: We need a healer
Guy 4: Let's do a AE farm
Guy 5: So what are we doing?
Me: Ya know what, I think I'm just gonna go solo for a while and go to bed.
Now this is me not starting a team:
Me: *solos and RPs with NPCs, entirely happy most of the time, occasionally joining a PUG with no thought to what to do next, just doing random stuff with other people deciding what to do* Man, I love this game!
That's why I don't start teams. -
To actually be on topic for a change, I do have one problem with the I-16 announcement: I'm too excited for it, it makes it tough to want to play the game now since it'll be so much better soon.
This is not the first time I've had this problem. -

Dude, for this feature, I want to have your baby.

I told you BaB: give them an inch, and they'll be after your children next.

Looking one mixed metaphor in the mouth is worth two birds with one stone.

Well, you can lead a horse to the bush, so you can have your cake and bite the early bird that feeds you the worm, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Well done. You win. -

Basically this will help the market ALOT both sides since if you can solo kill maps set for 6-8 folks you will reap all teh rewards

This. Plus the fact that the annoying spamming will go away, and that I'll be able to take myself off of hide without being bombarded by "fill?" and "pad plz" and "farm?" tells that, while only really bad on Freedumb, are still very annoying. Add to that the extreme lessening of blind invites that will occur, and I'm going to be a very happy hero come I16.
'Tis a wonderful idea that has very few flaws, imo. -

However, just FYI: QoL stands for Quality of Life. 'QoL life,' therefore, is a bit redundant.
[/ QUOTE ]
In addition, it's also slightly repetitive as well, too.
But I agree that the suggestion is a good one. -

Death, taxes and P_P agitating for the next issue 5 minutes after the release of the last one......things you can always rely on!

I have never had any interest in Issue 15. It's mostly bug fixes.
