Hi guys here I am as requested
With the Dark armour set I would suggest for any style of build getting all three armours of course
and slotting them with 2 end reduction SO's and 3 resistance. Dark armour suffers with no Knockback protection so leaping power pool is a must, or at the outside slotted hover, as knockback is far less of a problem then. Tough is always a good choice to raise your Smashing/Lethal resistances ontop of what Dark Embrace provides although with Dark being a High endurance usage set im not sure if it could take yet another toggle, but it might be worth a try for more survivability. If you go this route general opinion says dont take weave, its a turkey now :f
Dark regen is a great heal and in my humble opinion doesn't need actual enhancement for healing, top priority here is recharge and accuracy SO's as 3 foes will fill your health bar when this power is unslotted for heal.
Now we come to the things I'm less certain on. As your primary set martial arts is a single target set, I think you would get the best mileage out of just running cloak of fear from the auras, and keeping everything feared with no chance to strike back (it has a nice -accuracy element along with its fear). Or with Death shroud on top doing more damage over time but you will also recieve more, but not as much as without Cloak of FearI wouldn't go for Oppressive Gloom if you take Cloak of Fear, both seems to be overkill to me. Fear is regarded to work better with a damage aura than disorient. So in summation
I would suggest either Oppressive gloom or Cloak of Fear by themselves, or, Cloak of Fear and Deathshroud together.
Cloak of darkness is a judgement call whether you want a stealth power or not, its a pretty good one that gives +perception and immobilise protection, so is always a better choice comming from your primary than stealth.
Soul Transfer is a self rez and as such I would never take it, nuff said
I could post a suggested MA/DM build for you to get ideas from if like Loki. Anyways hope this info is of some help, have fun -

Tenebrous Tentacles is a VERY good PvE spell, but tend's to miss WAY too much in PvP for some reason. :/

There's a bug with cones in PvP making them miss moving targets, its being worked on. :| -
Ok lets see doesn't sound like you are doing too much wrong. TG does heal for more unslotted than say Thermal AoE heal, all heals that are harder to use heal more, Dark and Kinetics. With Dark Heal and people moving, you just have to move to them before firing it, it really isnt as much of a problem to use as the Kinetic heal. Accuracy issues, go 2 or 3 slots for accuracy and by the time you have SO's it shouldnt miss much.
The rez power from Dark is the only AoE rez in the game so it is special for that, although it really needs you to have TP Friend to arrange bodies around you to get the most out of it. Only 1 enemy is needed to work the rez off even if you are rezzing 7 people, I have seen so many people die from using this on a whole spawn, never a good idea -
Yay MM finally made it to the big 50, congratulations, a top bloke

Lol that was wicked
especially liked the bit where the monkey uses confuse and the tigers start to attack each other, overpowered monkey AT or what

*Irrelevant thought*
I wish they hadn't used the word 'infamy' and maybe chosen 'notoriety' instead. Every time I kill something and see the word infamy, Kenneth Williams pops straight into my head. If I start to dream about him I'm quitting the game! lol

lol mate scarey indeed, i think infamy is called that becuase for heroes its influence, both shortend are inf, -

I play a Mind/Energy as my main. Mind might not have the upfront control of the other sets
[/ QUOTE ]2 sleeps (1 AoE), 3 holds (2 AoE), 2 confuses (1 AoE) and 1 AoE fear... tell me, which of the primaries has more control than mind?

Most of the AoE stuff either comes very late in the set or is very situational. For the lower part of the game with energy for backup you will be entirely single target, which means lots of switching targets and careful agro control, without snares this can be a pain until you have everything locked down. Knockback isn't something you can rely on to save your life either. Like most of the build itself, it's strength's are in it's utility I reckon, the ability to be more of a blaster or a sit at the back and lock everything down controller is nice.
So no Mind isn't weak at control at all, if you notice what I did say I said upfront control...
...Mind gets its good control later, with no pets, some people dont like confuse being used even now, sleeps are not true holds, telekinesis is good yes but it eats endurance faster than anything and has very limited use below SO level in this build. -
I have a stone/energy alt, amazing damage, energies endurance powers cant come soon enough though
Heavy Mallet, Superior dmg at Lvl4 rocks -
I play a Mind/Energy as my main. Mind might not have the upfront control of the other sets, but it makes up for it in utility, this especially comes into play in pvp. Energy is a good damage set and that knockback element can aid in control.
I would say on the whole it is a good combination, maybe a little harder than some of the other Dominators, but is rewarded by being a good allrounder and good for pvp play as already mentioned.
Tips: Learn to love your sleeps (and try to play in teams that understand them aswell), with proper target switching and agro control you will only ever have to fight 1 mob at a time.
Save domination until you run out of end if you possibly can, with a bit of luck it can eliminate downtime, at worst you can go, use end>domination>use end>rest>repeat, makes for some very fast leveling early on even solo.
Confuse is a very useful PvE power if used wisely, and I think will drive MM's up the wall when you turn their nice pets against them in PvPcombined with next thing it should be awesome
Energy gets power boost, giving a massive boost to all control aspects. Domination+Power Boost will rock -
Hi Duarte. Your background looks impressive
I would say we are pretty similar apart from other MMO's we've played. Sin says you are a nice guy, so you get my vote.
Contact me ingame as Bloody NTrailZ if you would like a chat and/or duo up.
*Edit* Welcome to the Swords Duarte -
Theres no need for anything other than an updated CoH install to play both. I deleted my CoV beta folder, patched CoH with i6, and got in straight away on Saturday.
