Doh, yeah. Saturday, let's go for 9 pm eastern, then! That should be early enough to avoid E's bit.
I'll get everyone here on the OP
...and, dangit. Freedom's dead. -
...and the server hamster went on vacation?

This post will be massively changed in the next few minutes.
Shortest version: running a Lambda Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Possibly even Sunday. Friday and Saturday are master of attempts (and, possibly Sunday). Sign up here... Mollie and Luna are coming to Thursday's, I know.
Okay, short version: running a "get to know Lambda" Thursday night after Megpie's usual WST run. So, I'm assuming about, what, 9 or 10 pm eastern (8 or 9 pm central, 6 or 7 pm? western), and then we'll go through the lambda facility on a no pressure, non-master run, so folks know where and what is going on. Basic idea, defeat the spawns at the canisters and crates, so the folks new to the trials get a feeling for where they are going.
(Maps will be linked here, once I make them).
Friday and Saturday night, those are MoRuns, with the assumption being that we are going for Antacid, Well Stocked, and the other one I can't remember at the moment (use no nades). Would like a couple of kins and a couple debuffers on those.
Friday night will be at 11:30 pm eastern, 10:30 pm central, and 8:30 (?) pm western.
Saturday night, I'm fairly flexible, but I'd like to go a bit earlier. Say 10 pm eastern?
This will be massively updated as I get time to clarify! If you want to reserve a spot, let know for which day.

Goals Info & Stats:- Synchronized Badge - Destroy a Weapons Cache and an Incubation Pod within 2 seconds of each other during the Lambda Sector Incarnate Trial. Listen on League chat, we'll try this one until we get it (through the ten box/canisters)
- Antacid Badge - Complete the Lambda Sector Incarnate Trial having acquired 10 Molecular Acids but using none of them.
- Lambda Looter Badge - Complete the Lambda Sector Incarnate Trial having acquired 10 Pacification Grenades but using none of them.
- Well-Stocked Badge - Complete the Lambda Sector Incarnate Trial having acquired 10 Pacification Grenades and 10 Molecular Acids but using none of them.
Instructions Info & Stats:- Phase I: Clear outside before going into the courtyard. Then clear the courtyard. Then clear the guns.
- Phase I: Do not open the door to the courtyard. Go over the wall; this keeps our dear Ebil Babsalot from accidentally running away before we have finished getting our loot from the fellow.
- Phase II: Listen to the league chat; we are going to try and sync the killing of a canister and a box. Note that there seems to be a one or two second lag... so, killing both within two seconds is a matter of almost luck over timing. But, we will try to keep the timing tight.
- Phase II: Focus on the canister or box... ignore the mobs around. Once the target is dead, stay together and leave any mobs still alive. Move on to the next objective.
- Phase III: DO NOT USE A TEMP POWER (a grenade or acid). We are going to try and be adults, so, no passing to one person. YET. IF one of the temps goes off, do NOT use the other temp... we can still try for antacid or looter even if we lose the "other" badge and the well-stocked badge.
- Phase III: DO NOT GET ANY OF THE EXTRA SHIPMENTS. Leave them alone. Getting either shipment breaks the badges... essentially, during this phase we are playing Wack-a-Marauder and NOTHING else. Let the adds die due to AOE's
- Phase III: DO NOT open the door to the courtyard. We mean to play Wack-a-Marauder and don't want the Ebil Babsalot to accidentally step off the map before we go home with our loot, trophies, and random merit award.

Means we need to kill him before the full fledged sixteen-people-have-problems-containing-the-zerg-rush-at the 7:30 remaining mark.

Quote:Second and greater, not first in most places.Just a question of biology and social norms. Isn't the biological relationship between a Grand Father and Grand Daughter on a par with the genetic simularities (commonalities) between Cousins? And aren't cousins allowed to marry?
Fourth cousins marry all the time (although, in most cases, they don't know they are fourth cousins). Given the likelyhood of marrying withing a couple blocks of one's home neighborhood (urban setting), size of most towns (rural), etc and et al. -
Quote:Wonder if they "fixed" how to get the mo.patch notes:
INCARNATE TRIALS
- Reward tables for endgame events have been adjusted based upon collected data.
- Players will now find their chance of being awarded higher tier rewards has been slightly increased.
- The following powers can now be used during Incarnate Trials and other instances where Temporary Powers were disabled
- Event Costume Powers
- Halloween Costume Powers
- Travel-Only Temp Powers such as the Raptor Pack (these are still unavailable during Arena matches)
- The Objective section of an Incarnate Trial should now display When the Zone Event UI is minimized
- Removed checks on the number of players present in Lambda Sector's first two stages.
- Players should no longer be able to get stuck on the door leading to the interior of Lambda Sector.
- The mini-map location inside Lambda Sector where player markers first appear should no longer be missing room graphics.
- Lambda Sector's forces fixed a problem with their jump boots. IDF and Warworks forces will now be able to assist Marauder if he is fought on the roof of Lambda Sector.
- Reward tables for endgame events have been adjusted based upon collected data.

Good job folks, all the way around :-)

My apologies, unless someone can run the Master of BAF, it will be canceled; I'm having power issues here, and I am afraid I will not be online in three hours.
The Master of Lambda IS still on! -
Updated; reminder: the MoBAF is tonight (and the moLambda is tomorrow)!

Quote:Aye. But, what makes up the Coming Storm? We don't know the answers from that. Heck, I'm not one hundred percent certain it isn't going to help cause the storm. The Well is looking for a champion - or champions - because it wants to protect itself an the multiverse from the Coming Storm.
Let's just say, I remember one very important saying people have been repeating for centuries:
Beware Greeks bearing gifts. -
Who says the Well is the sole source of mojo around? Just because you will be able to slap down Cole, doesn't mean there aren't bigger fish out and about ready to snack on one.
The Well may be just finding champions to channel into... so they can take out higher level dangers and allow the Well itself to gain more power. Perfect reason for choosing based on power: to be a power play at more power itself. -

Ouch.
Something something something brain hurts. I think I lost some marbles reading that. Thanks for the warning, if I survive, I will take heed next time.

Quote:I am fine either way.Would it help for me to bring my Earth/Rad Controller instead for the BaF? She's the best I have at lock down. I can throw out quicksand, earthquake and volcanic gasses to slow them coming out of the door. And then try to lock down the bigger critters with stacked holds and debuffs. But she is only a 50 with a tier 1 Alpha slot. She's not level shifted, so she might not be able to do much of anything.
Your call.
Hrm; if possible, can you have both in zone? If we don't have five 'trollers/doms, I will ask you to switch out then.
The alternative strategy (that I have seen no one try, just was thinking of it the other day... and is more dangerous) is to have three lockdown types... but place them at the three exits with a blaster or scrapper kill machine type.
So, I guess... keep the dom in case we have four trollers? I have a strategy for three trollers, or five plus, but nothing that fits for four. -

Quote:Bigger question is: would anyone notice?Much rejoicing at the relief of not being bombarded with horrible movies and crappy pop music all the time.
Kinda like marching a twenty foot pink dragon down the Strip in Las Vegas: they've already seen stranger and he passed without comment. -
Quote:<3 back :-)<3 You Myr =)
I'll definately be along for the BaF. I only have one level shifted 50 my Rad/Rad Defender Dyanthia. But I can offer you pretty much anything else if another AT would be more useful (but they would be 50's, not 50+1). I've got a nice sturdy scrapper, a newly minted level 50 Mind Dom, an Earth/Rad for lockdown, or a slightly purpled out blaster. Just let me know who you would like.
I'd *like* to come along on the lambda, but I've still not done one yet, and I'm a little nervous about not knowing what to do. I'll try to get on one the next day or two if I see any of my friends running on them. So if you want, slap me down on the list. If you don't that's fine too =)
Don't worry about the lambda as much as the BAF, in regards to the ATs. Essentially, the emphasis on the team there is a tank/brute/softcapped scrapper plus someone who can lockdown mobs per team. So, meatshield, lockdown, and six folks who follow orders, essentially.
Psi damage DOES bypass Marauder's unstoppable, so, those with psi damage or seer pets are a good premium for this particular trial... but, again, folks who can think and follow a gameplan are always worth their weight in gold.
--If it weren't for the prisoner phase of BAF, it would also be AT forgiving; but that darn prisoner phase is the one thing that really sticks it to the trial leader. If you don't have a lockdown per door, it makes that trial much, much harder. -
Welcome back and welcome to Freedom, the most Prime of all servers!
(You'll find an SG here no problems or worries. Just sayin' hello and welcome to my favorite server) -
Quote:Same could be said of Gotham ;-)Well, that and the devs' reluctance to rennovate established content. I'm not suggesting wholesale gentrification in order to attract a better class of supervillain, though. Giving Freedom Court more prominence in its immediate surroundings, the way Freedom Plaza does in Kings Row, or explanding the arena's neighborhood to make it feel more like a sports center would open up the map without detracting from its character. Right now, its streets are too cramped and tangled for a good rampage, its buildings too much of an architectural melange for a would-be world conqueror to imagine as impressive ruins. Galaxy City needs the equivalent of a special economic zone program, except for super-powered mayhem.
Too each his or her own, I'd say. -
Could always thrown in a clone with memories but different love life or somesuch in.

Quote:Not all of us are AP snobs. The reason for Galaxy City's existence is simple: some of us prefer it this way. Seriously, if AP got any cleanier, I'd expect doves and singing choirs in the air.Galaxy City basically is in need of urban renewal. Whichever dev designed Imperial City and Nova Praetoria should be assigned the task of rennovating this neglected zone. If not, then War Witch should seriously ask herself the reason for its continued existence in the game.[/SIZE]
That would make me grumpy. Very grumpy.
Galaxy City's fine. The only people who want to change it, do not notice they can have an AP2 with just a little effort (without forcing another zone to become a clone of AP).
GC isn't messed with because those of us who prefer it, well. Tough bunch -
Quote:Invulnerability, Shield, Willpower, and Super Reflexes. But other than Invulnerability, Shield and Willpower, what have the Romans ever done for us?!?
(sorry, it had to be done...)
On a side note, Brute SR also has a taunt aura that's non-damaging.
I sense a trend here; all "naturalistic" tank/brute powersets need some sort of look at on this subject.
As far as the Romans, they made us shave our beards, crop our hair, take daily baths, and stole a mess of tin. In other words, other than making us presentable for a few dates, not much.
