  1. An option to search by author and for "quotes" to work - whenever I try to search for @somebody (both with and without quotes), I get every single description which has the word somebody in it.
  2. Yeah. Looked at Combat Attributes and when you come into a zone/mission, all you've got are the Speed Attributes from Base/Sprint.

I'd lost Swift/Mental Training & a couple of Small Improved Run Speed Bonuses from the list for about 10 seconds.

Another Issue 14 bug to add on to the pile then
  3. Anyone else noticed that you move slower than usual for a few seconds after the mission/zone loads, then return to normal speed?

It's not lag or anything like that. It feels like a debuff, but there's no icon to show such a thing.

    Any ideas?
  4. Agreed - then rating has to be "approved" by the author or referred to the mods if it's just "ssdjskdjskdj". If said commentator is not "approved" by a number of authors, they get barred from using MA for a period of time.

Obviously those mods will also have to review authors to ensure they don't keep picking on little Timmy. But they're going to have their work cut out for them any way, so they might as well have this too.
  5. I've taken to playing the 3+ star arcs - I find a lot of them better than those that I've played that are rated higher.

    Go figure.
  6. Yeah, I saw an Emma Frost look and sound-alike in Outbreak earlier.

Haven't petitioned anyone for such an obvious name violation in ages. Happy times.
  7. See I've been told that in this game for years, but when I don't type it in exactly as cc_e or powexec_name, it NEVER works for me...

    Serial Codes

Thank you. (I know it's difficult)

    Serial Codes

Any idea on an SLA for dealing with this? Haven't heard anything back from support all day.

And why are most of them of the "big boned" persuasion?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Americans.

    Game Developers.
  12. You can see chat if you shrink the MA window down.

Not when you're in costume creation, but you've got that problem in Icon at the moment anyway.

    Feedback?

I'm holding off creating my missions right now until they get some of the bugs (which we've been pointing out since closed beta - what was the point in having it, if you didn't listen to the major gripes?).

Being able to play my SoA without losing the gun has kept my attention up until now.

I've ran through a few arcs that others have created and they range from the sublime to the horrible. The rating system needs work - 5 stars isn't enough. 5 stars for plot, enemies, setting etc. needs to be worked into the rating system.

Not being able to receive feedback is a major downer - I've seen people not being able to improve on their arcs, because no one leaves feedback. Sod how inconvenient it is - don't allow that feedback window to be closed until they've sent some (and if it's just "sjdkjskdj", then that person should be blocked from using the MA until they've learned how to communicate - harsh, I know. The author and the game support staff can deal with the comments on the mission using the petition system if it needs to go that far.)

And can we work out some way to get US feedback appearing over here? I think that's probably a large source of the "missing" feedback too.

With some patiences, got them on my 3 accounts

Those change costume animations are COOL Ok ok, they are copies of exsisting powers (rod, CM, summon, WW) but really awsome done.

ok, downside, /cc command doesnt activate it

    [/ QUOTE ]

    This'll help
  14. I think there's a villain AT or two which may also appeal...
  15. I had the same issue - just petition them from within game and you'll get your support email through.

    a lack of imagination

    *chuckles*

said the critic to the author...
  17. I'm having a hard time resisting the urge to yell "Shazam" out every time I use the Lightning costume emote
  18. [ QUOTE ]
I don't understand the ease at which old animations have come anywhere near being considered for these new emotes?, especially as it is a paid-for micro transaction set.

It cost us £6. It gives us emotes where there wasn't any before. It's given us a shiny new power.

All of those things look very pretty.

It's had some problems, but it's working fine and looking great now.

For such a small sum of money, I think they did a good, nay a great job.

I think you're expecting to much from them, to be honest.
  19. I love all these posts saying "Don't click on it more than once." (mostly US forums admittedly).

Is it just me that the button becomes unclickable for after you click it once then?
  20. Woo hoo - and the emotes work

Okay, I feel a lot calmer after the earlier issues with this pack now

    ^^^ Easily pleased
  21. From BAB's post:

Hope you guys are enjoying the costume change emotes that are part of the Magic booster pack. There have been questions here on the forums about using these outside of the costume selection screen, and the answer is "Yes. There is a console command for activating these."

The command is /cc_e or /cc_emote ('costume change emote')

    The full syntax is:
    /cc_e [costumeSlotSlot#] [emoteName]

There are a couple of important notes. One, the costume slot numbers start with 0. So your first costume slot is 0, your 2nd is 1, 3rd is 2, etc. Two, you need to use the actual emote name, not the display name that you see in the costume select screen's rollout. For the magic pack, these are:

    CCPrestoChango - “Presto Chango”

    CCLightning - “Lightning”

    CCSpin - “Spin”

    CCCast - “Cast”

    Example:
    /cc_e 1 cclightning
Will switch you to your 2nd costume slot, using the "Lightning" costume change emote.

As part of a macro or bind:
    /local ABRACADABRA!$$cc_e 1 ccPrestoChango

Other than that, the normal rules for costume changes apply. You can only switch costumes once every Edit:15 seconds. If you try to use a costume change emote sooner or try to switch to the costume slot you're already in, it won't work. You'll look foolish, and everyone will laugh at you.

    Cheers!

  23. Excellent. Here's hoping there's a random option (however unlikely that is)!
