Maybe Positron's idea of fun is telling us that we're getting a badge, that stuff will be coming soon and that was it.
Assuming he's a sadist and loves torturing players and board moderators, I could see that working...
No judgement in advance. I've said elsewhere what I'd like and what I'm expecting. -

Archery & Trick arrow for Corruptors
[/ QUOTE ]
YES PLEASE!
[/ QUOTE ]
Abso-frikkin-lutely. I want this more than anything. Despite the disappointments of the last few issues (though I do like MA), even if I15 only contained Archery/TA Corruptors I'd be blissfully happyI can't see any reason why they won't get it - it's as obvious as Thermal/Fire Defenders.
Oh and Brutes/Tankers had better get Spines/ (imagine it with Stone Armour or Ice Armour...) plus Claws/ and Broadsword/, Controllers need /Traps (Grav/Traps...) and /Cold, /Ninjitsu for Scrappers (replace hide with a zero-cost stealth toggle) plus every melee set they don't currently get, and Ice/Ice for Stalkers...
... or I'll cry!
[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed - Apart from the whole that's all I want to see in I15 stuff! -
I've bought tons of games from Steam and the downloads have never taken longer than 2-3 hours (even with multiple games downloading after system rebuilds).
The user support on the forum has also been enough support for me, but since I haven't had an issue with Steam itself that I've had to contact Steam for, I can't comment.
Edit: Rather interesting to note that the Steam store page in its rolling adverts at the top devotes ones slot to Lineage, one slot to Guild Wars and ZERO slots to City Of Heroes... -

whats with the 'must pick one' mentality?
[/ QUOTE ]
Heh. Localism, Vet rewards, something.
If you'd asked me 6 months ago, I'd say I'd be here forever. Now, with the competition on the way and the lack of... anything much recently, that's changed.
I've played for a long time (4.5 years of investment) and I'm seriously contemplating switching it.
I doubt I'll NEVER play again - I'd have the odd dabble back again, but I would be investing my cash into a rival (superhero games/any MMO with the word Star in its title).
I15 will have to go some to compete with them. I hope it does. I'd like to keep playing, but only if there's something to grab my attention and for me it's story - story that I don't have to wade through dozens of farming missions to find (nor leave the game to have to look for either). -
It's been bugged - settle down and enjoy the wait...

and after 30 seconds, switching back

It's 15 seconds now (and I don't think that's a bug!) -

Personally, I'm sick and tired of all the "soon" rubbish, and no longer expect ANYthing from NC.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm expecting massive "special offers" when a certain other game is released, but only to cope with the massive player outflux... -

Plus there's the built in delay whilst the banks earn a teensy bit of interest on your money whilst it's in their systems.
[/ QUOTE ]
Very true, but with the new Faster Payments system, plus EU Regulation in November this year and January 2012, this will be a thing of the past for any European Economic Area transfers - it'll have to be immediate (within 2 hours is immediate in the banking world). -

Would be nice to know what you're talking about, Rooks. Are you saying there's already a post made by Kegger in the Dominator forums about this or something? Because I can't find it there...unless you're talking about something else.
Or is there a party with lots of beer in the Dominator forums?
[/ QUOTE ]
Did you just edit that post after looking Kegger up on Google?

i have heard that its possiable to get from 1 to 30 in one mish.
[/ QUOTE ]
This seems rather unlikely to me.
1-10, sure , but 1-30 in 1 mission?
No sirree.
[/ QUOTE ]
Indeed... it should take at least 2 misisons. Pick the 'correct' mission, have a decent sized team and I don't see that being too ridiculous to be honest.
As for my views on it... I doubt anyone is really interested enough for me to make a decision on whether it is terrible or not.

Humility? From you? What's up with that? -

Switch cards used to have an issue number and an end date.
Maestro cards have a start date and an end date.
[/ QUOTE ]
My Maestro has issue # and end date, but no start date. I think it depends on your bank more than anything else.
[/ QUOTE ]
It does. There is a current UK bank wide project on the go to get all this rationalised, but there's no definitive end date set as yet. -

Except it didn't take it without authorisation, you all kept clicking the link and pushed through more transactions
[/ QUOTE ]
Why are you talking about antelopes? What has that got to do with the situation?
(See, I can respond without actually reading too.)
[/ QUOTE ]
Oi. I never said that!

Yes, perish the thought players should be able to garner time for two day jobs at the same time... ¬_¬
[/ QUOTE ]
Well I must admit it became really difficult to get to the portal what with everyone camping around it, getting two day jobs at the same time
[/ QUOTE ]
Erm, if they were getting Day jobs, then they wouldn't have been visible to you...

ROFL!!
I believe the word is....pwnd?

No it was irony and you both missed the point.

If feedback was mandatory, it would stop things like this a lot easier!
[/ QUOTE ]
One word: "kjsklwqr"
Enforced feedback doesn't work on the Internet.
[/ QUOTE ]
Thus the need for Author approval and referral to mods if that's what they get (and if the author goes power hungry and gets people banned).
No, I don't think it's workable either - I think it's easier to leave it as is and not do anything (hey Posi's happy right now, why bring up all the FUNDAMENTAL problems that we told them about through both betas to ruin it), but it's my suggestion. -
In another thread, I said that I wanted approved "ebay" (as it used to be) style feedback where you had to leave it and you had to have it approved by the author (and then the cycle of dev checking that may result it).
No decent feedback, no access to the Mission Architect system - simple as.
Of course if negative feedback is given and the author doesn't like it and thus dings against them for it, then the whole mod checking thing will kick off - could be messy, but the whole thing is messy at the moment. -

Ok - maybe only obvious to me... but that's still obvious!

I can't get into that frame of mind on the last Sunday before I go back to work
And that's good for my mental health -

[ QUOTE ]
The devs correctly understand that this game is adversley affected by excess farming.
[/ QUOTE ]However, they're banning arcs simply because they have the word farm in the title. So the only thing farmers need to do to not get their arcs banned is to not label them as such. And guess who gets hurt by that?
[/ QUOTE ]
Those who actually set their arcs on Farms (either seriously or ironically)? -

The last 1-5 run I did, I realized it wasn't too hard to actually do it within 14 days all alone with my two accounts.

You're doing something seriously wrong if that's the case...

It usually takes you longer, MA???

Actually even if you clicked once and the payment went through successfully, it still charged you twice, what happened to me, got no error please try again message, everything went through fine BUT it charged me twice for some odd reason.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's exactly what happened to me too. So it's not just people who retry the process again. (Which involves more steps than the completely non-available click-button again move (Although those that pressed F5 need help)) -
Wouldn't that invalidate any arcs which have tightly detailed stories, that require you to deal with all minions on the final mission though?
You could end up missin out on a great arc, because of that option.
Unless you meant all arcs that are 5 missions worth of defeat all Freaks? -

thanks thats helps alot, the axe and the sand are permanent ^^ so yay ^^
thanks again for the help
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes they're perminant, but they're under the temporary power pool, all that really means is you cant slot or put enhancements in them (they're also unefected by buffs)
[/ QUOTE ]
Not true - they're unaffected by damage buffs, but To-Hit Buffs still work on them.
And if you've got a character with -def, then the powers (like all the others) hit a lot more often. They're still excellent to use at later levels if you've got any of those abilities -

now let the flames come

You do know that saying that doesn't automatically invalidate everyone who disagrees with your opinion, right?
