  1. DM/Invul is a good option as well. You're lacking in AoE and your defense has a huge hole when it comes to psi damage. But it's incredibly tough and has good ST damage. My buddy tanked Lord Recluse in the STF two nights ago using his. Only heals we had at that time was a kin defender, so he wasn't much help until we managed to get down the correct tower.
  2. Right before double XP I bought about 100 Scirocco's Dervish(all types) since the recipes were selling for 500k-2M. Been making several times my initial investment and I still have about 30 to sell.

I also had about 75 Achilles' Heel procs since right before blasters got Rad blast that I am finally selling(I took an extended break from the game). That is one of the best investments I made in a long time.

Also had several miracle and numina uniques plus five sets of Oblits and Kinetic Combat and various other high end IOs here and there.

So far I've netted over 2.5 billion on my initial investment. So I'm happy.
  3. I didn't realize that either. But still, I like the option of more instant TP to various zones
  4. If you make a teleporter to take me to the Tailor of my choice, I will give you $4.99(plus tax). Put the recharge the same as the WW/BM telporter. That is all.

    Sincerely,
    MunkiLord

This is truth. For example Monster Cables is famous for suing for trademark violations. If another cable(as in AV, HDMI, etc) maker used Monster in their marketing or advertising they would probably lose a lawsuit.

However, if you named your energy drink Monster, you are fine because even a moron in a hurry wouldn't be confused. Trademark is there to protect the consumer from being mislead.

What court battle? I remember a lawsuit that got settled out of court, but there was no court battle. Sounds like you're talking out your rear.

True, it doesn't have to be on the list to be copyrighted. Like I said before however, you can't copyright names. Therefore, that name is not copyrighted.
  8. Freedom, blueside. If you have two(of even one) to sell, PM on the boards or send a global tell to @MunkiLord. We can discuss price at that time.

    A blaster soloed the ITF.
  10. My vote goes for FM/WP Scrapper. You can get a good attack chain out of fire melee without too much recharge, and willpower is a solid set that you also don't have to invest much influence in.

The costume, not so much. Your costume doesn't look even remotely like Diablo's Izual.
You can't copyright names. Just throwing that out there.

    He doesn't have to act.

The fact is that another company created an NPC in their game with that unique name. They have claimed that character as copyright, as any other game does with their NPC's.

It would be no different than someone going over to WoW and creating a character named Positron.
No different as in legally there is no problem doing that.
  12. Yes, it was your build that I based my first one off of. Of all the ones I looked at, I liked yours the best.

I'm torn. How good of an AoE is Fireball for Scrappers?
  13. Good, wanted some other eyes on it to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Thanks for the input.

edit: I took true Grit that late because I originally forgot to put it in the build.
  14. What about this? I would like to squeeze a little more recharge out of so hastens downtime is a little less, but can't think of how to do that without making other sacrifices. Thoughts?

  15. Closing in on 50 for this character, and I would like some input from all the experts. I will be running the Incin>Scorch>Cremate>Scorch chain. I was hoping to get the Incin>GFS>Cremate chain, but I can't figure out how to fit GFS in my build without making other major sacrifices.

I looked through the forums and read various threads and compared several builds. This build is actually tweaked from another posted build(sorry, I don't remember who). Anyways, so thoughts? Suggestions? Influence is no problem, so any tips to improve it are more than welcome. Thanks.

Edit: To expand a little bit, I'm looking to do tons of AoE and be able to solo AVs.

    DB/Fire?

It's a pretty fun set. I have a level 50 that has a few set bonuses(nothing major). It's fun with the AoE, but pretty squishy compared to the scrappers I typically used in the past.

    I love Shadow Maul.

Dude, you need to learn how to read. Also, stop acting like a tool.

I consider skipping Combat Jumping a mortal sin.
  20. First, how much you looking to spend?

Second, did you smack your brother? It would be ok if you did.

That sucks for you. Vista is done. Windows 7 is superior to both of them in pretty much every way. Unless, of course, you like living in the past.
  22. Thats what my biggest concern is to be honest. If these were brand new I wouldn't really worry much, but they have been recertified by Western Digital which means something has gone wrong with them at some point.
  23. I pretty much have down what I'm getting.

All I really need to decide on at this point is the Hard Drive situation.

I have a couple different options. I can run two 74GB Raptors in RAID0 or RAID1 with a 250GB hard drive to store most of my media and other junk like that(and in a month or so would upgrade that to a significantly larger hard drive).

Or I could just buy a 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM drive for a little less money.

What are your thoughts? Do yall think the Raptors in a RAID 0 would make that much of a difference? Also, I would be buying the Raptors recertified from Fry's.

If it makes a difference here is the basics of what my system will be running:

    Windows 7 64-Bit
    AMD Phenom II X4 965BE
    4GB(2x2GB) 1333Mhz DDR3 RAM
Nvidia 8800GTX(though in a few months will be switching to ATI 58xx series)
Antec TP-750W PSU(more than I need, but got it for a good price)
Forget the exact motherboard, but it does support RAID.

Opinions are much appreciated as I'm hoping to purchase this on Sunday.
  24. Only read the first post, so no idea what is going on in the thread.

But sometimes when I'm really stuck I'll just pick random words from the dictionary. That is how I came up with the names Careful and Helpless Purple. Not especially great, but they work. Especially since Careful turned out to be my overly aggressive Warshade.

I get that your all about ATI, but really the Nvidia cards I have been using are great. I say that because my husband has the 5870 in his computer right next to mine, and my computer is superior to his...

IMO Nvidia cards are excellent, but I think ATI is a much better value currently. You can get similar performance(sometimes better, sometimes worse) than Nvidia's stuff for a much better price.

Edit: SuperOz, how is that i5-750? I seriously considered buying that last Saturday but ended up going in a different direction. I would still like to get my hands on one at some point.
