Haven't played the combo myself for more than a few levels, but should be an AoE monster from my experience with both sets. If redraw bothers you, you'll have issues since Fire is a clicky set with healing flames and consume. It's a 'weaker' secondary, but DB does add in a fair amount of mitigation with the powers and the combos, particularly sweep.

It's a pretty fun set. I have a level 50 that has a few set bonuses(nothing major). It's fun with the AoE, but pretty squishy compared to the scrappers I typically used in the past.
I've got a /fire scrapper at level 35. So far, i'm not impressed with fire's survivability. I've got an /elec scrapper at 39. It's much more solid then the /fire. I think with very high recharge in fire's heal, survivabilty should improve, but that's more of a level 50 status, then a "during level up" status.
One thing I like about db/fire (acutally my toon is claws/fire, but it's simliar in this way)... double-stacked blinding feight combined with blazing aura is about as much damage as a spines/dark running 2 auras for half the endurance cost.

Has anyone ever played this combo? I've been trying to find a fun PvE toon to play. And DB/Fire looks like it could offer some decent AoE and such.
